OK. I’m a BBQ enthusiast from Alabama and this place more than meets my high BBQ standards. We used go here a lot back in college. The BBQ is South Carolina style, which means it has more of a vinegary sauce and a dry rub. Done correctly, the moist meat will overcome any dryness. They do it correctly. They dole the goods out of the shed behind their house and it tastes particularly good while sitting on the back of a pickup truck with friends. They are also great at catering.

We stumbled on this charming little place while on vacation in the area. The St. Louis rib dinner was a standout (we had delicious Mac and cheese and baked beans on the side), and the pulled pork and other sides were quite good as well. Also, it is no small feat to find a place that all of us (including our picky three year old) enjoy, but this place did the trick. It was a real find and we heartily recommend it!
