We also make our own smoked hummus, which just might blow your mind.

During the spring and fall we have homemade chili with smoked beef chunks and smoked chicken soup.

Airstream dining in the country. THE BEST SMOKED SALMON SANDWICH ! And home made coleslaw, (no mayo!) with chinese five spice and sesame oil.
Proprietor Jody is an amazing chef!
Jus need one more shady picnic table!

We had a «Friday afternoon gathering» — happy hour for about 10 people, so i brought home a sampler of hummus, brisket & salmon — everything is smoked and everything was delicious and outstanding!!! «Best hummus i have ever had» said one of the guests. We had other food too but the hummus, brisket & salmon was gone quickly — the true sign of success. I will be back often. Great flavor!!!

Wow — this place is really as good as everyone says. I rarely eat red meat, but my daughter who had been here and loved the brisket told me I absolutely had to try it. I got it and it was so delicious but I tried to control myself and only ate half. Then I ate the other half the moment I got to my destination an hour later. The dessert (I think I had a smoked nut 7 layer bar) was absolutely yummy. I will go back whenever I am anywhere near this place.

This is well designed and executed taste treats! Brisket and Salmon are so good it is hard to try new things. Location fabulous. Relaxing place to eat lunch or early dinner. Worth a try. The nuts are yummy also!

Easily some of the best food I’ve had in the area. Took home a brisket sandwich and a pesto chicken sandwich and couldn’t believe how amazing they tasted. Also the ice-​cream cookie sandwich made all of my summertime sugary-​dessert dreams come true. Between the view and the food, what a perfect treat!

I was hesitant at first, but this is the best bbq that I’ve had while traveling upstate. The brisket is amazing, as are the smoked nuts.

AWESOME brisket sandwiches (all we tried, but we’ll be back!). Nice soft roll, brisket was flavorful and super juicy, great slaw. Menu was small, but covered all of the bases. Nice freshly brewed iced tea and reasonable prices. Looking forward to another visit!

Very cute joint nestled in the middle of the Red Hook farmland. The menu is limited but does offer a pretty tasty selection. The smoked deviled eggs were smoked and seasoned to perfection. The chicken salad served in a chewy glutenous roll was jammed packed with smoky flavor balanced by the aroma of roasted pecans. Excellent place to take a break and grab a bite.

I really like the food I have had so far. I have had the brisket twice and it is so good. Today I got a side of smoked deviled eggs. I absolutely loved these. You must try them! I can’t wait to see the smoked chili on the menu again so I can have it!

What an amazing find! Best roadside smoked brisket sandwich we’ve ever had. Papa’s is in a vintage Airstream underneath a willow tree on one of the Hudson Valley’s most beautiful farms outside of the awesome village of Red Hook and near Rhinebeck too. But the smoked eats are the main draw. They also had awesome smoked nuts and local maple syrup made by a bunch of local families when we were there. A little off the beaten path… but we will definitely be going back.

Not to be missed. Amazing location and food. I recommend the brisket sandwich and the deviled eggs! Also for dessert they have something called zebra cake which is chocolate wafers in whip cream. As an after meal adventure you can walk up the hill behind the Air Stream and for 25 cents you can feed the goats. (There is a small candy dispenser that has goat treats in it.)
