Meh. I LOVE Lincoln but I could’ve probably skipped this. The voice-over actor narrating Lincoln in the bedroom sounds like an elderly woman. The signs in said bedroom threaten you with bodily harm if you get too grabby with Lincoln’s comforter. Go to the Shriver house instead. No tempting Lincoln bed linens but, much better gift shop!

Wow! Do not skip! This museum was well worth the $ 5.50 person(ask for the AAA discount). The videos are great, the house is gorgeous, and the information throughout the museum is fascinating. The museum is run by the National Parks Service. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful, knowledgable, and friendly.

This was hands down my favorite house to tour in Gettysburg. Located right in the heart of the circle, the house tells the story of a residence where Lincoln spent the night before delivering the Gettysburg Address, and the man and his family who lived here. Having never heard of Wills before I loved the exhibits, stories, and artifacts that depicted his role in those fateful three days, and the many that followed. A fascinating story that shouldn’t be left out of the textbooks, this exhibit(which ends in the toom that Lincoln slept in) is sure to please.
