History
Established in 2010.
Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana, creates the truly authentic Neapolitan Pizza experience, utilizing the same simple methods that were practiced for hundreds of years in Napoli, where pizza was born and perfected. Executive Chef Matteo Schiavone, with 30 yrs of experience in Neapolitan pizzerias in Italy makes our genuine pizza with slow-rising sourdough.
Our homemade dough consists of imported highly refined wheat flour from Italy natural starter, sea salt and water. The pizza is baked for 60 – 90 seconds at 905 °F in our oven, made with pressed bricks and volcanic sand from the Month of Vesuvius.
In combining the slow levitation method, homemade dough, all-natural ingredients and the blast-cooking process in our wood-burning oven, we’re able to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture for each pizza. This gives the pizza a soft and digestible crust, the signature style of a Authentic Pizza Napoletana.
