Safeway Pharmacy

Been going here for 13 years love everyone there. I dread going to other pharmacies when they are closed.

The absolute worst pharmacy I have EVER encountered in my life! Linda the pharmacist and I believe pharmacy manager is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever and I mean ever come across in all my life! I won’t get into the horrid details of what this person has done to both myself and other people I know, but let’s just say when you yell at customers, throw their medication at them across the counter, tell people to find another pharmacy and full on LIE to a doctor about a prescription you’re trying to fill someone shouldn’t have a job there! Hell even the pharmacy tech yelled out for all the store to hear what type of drug I was filling to see the wait time (HIPPA law privacy act violation) you have to wonder what kind of 3 ring circus is operating there! These are people’s medications, some that help to keep people who are awaiting major surgery comfortable and or meds that keep people alive! This is no joke, yet Linda seems to think she can abuse customers and accuse both customers and people with them of really screwed up things and get away with it! It’s more than frightening to think of how vindictive this woman is and that she holds a license to dispense medication where she assumes she knows what she’s talking about of a past prescription insisting the dosage was the same as the new script, when in fact it was not… she could potentially kill someone with her assumptions! She verbally abused the wrong person today tho and that’s a fact! I truly hope the assistant manager (who was such a sweetheart and totally symptomatic to all of the situations I spoke with him about) really will take corrective action! Such hostility and anger is unacceptable in customer service, let alone someone who is supposed to be helping and caring for sick people! In the meantime as long as that vicious woman is working there I nor my family or friends and hopefully you the reader will NOT use this pharmacy! I will be sure to send everyone to the Val Vista safeway, where Karen and Darren (pharmacists) treat you like a human, take pride in their jobs and genuinely care about their customers!
