Walgreens

I will never use this Walgreens pharmacy again. The pharmacist at this location, Shannon, makes me want to swear off Walgreens completely. She is incredibly rude and both my doctor and I were appalled by her attitude. I dropped off my prescription on a Saturday and Shannon called me shortly afterward to let me know that my prescription needed to be verified by my doctor and since they were closed today she would not be able to fill it until Monday. I called my doctor on the after hours line and asked her if she would be willing to call her to verify the prescription and she said that she would. Even though my doctor went out of her way to call the pharmacy on a Saturday, Shannon told her that she didn’t believe her because she wasn’t calling directly from the office and refused to fill it until Monday. I tried speaking with Shannon to see if it would make her feel more comfortable to call the office to obtain the after hours line and then to call my doctor that way to prove that the number is legitimate but she said that she only calls after hours numbers for life threatening emergencies. Way to be helpful Walgreens! I picked up my prescription and took it to another pharmacy who made it hassle free and took the initiative to call and get verification without making it difficult or making me feel like I was doing something wrong for trying to fill my prescription on my one day off. That’s the pharmacy I will be using!

Great customer service… You can find a lot of things here… of course it’s a drug store/​convenience store… but anyways. I really like it
