Best bagels in the area! always fresh and they have great bagels. Service is quick and workers are all friendly. Chicken cranberry salad is a must try. I’ve never left unsatisfied!

By far the best bagels on Long Island. I’ve been coming to this place since it opened up and haven’t had a bad experience yet. There is always a line in this place to order but goes quick. Also had flagel breakfast sandwiches, cold cut heroes, smoothies and coffee. All are outstanding.

I use to love this place and could understand why it was so busy but the quality of care and customer service has declined. orders have been messed up but not replaced and there are times when I’d call before hand and it still wouldn’t be ready at the promised time…

The only reason I didn’t give them one star is because the food is good. Otherwise it sucks. Their service is terrible, you can stand at the counter for 10 minutes and be ignored by employees walking back and forth. Then when you finally get help, no one can find your order that you called in. Its always missing.
This past weekend one of the employees at our pharmacy got a sandwich from there, and when she opened it there was a big green CATERPILLAR. Never going back.

i don’t get why people think these are the best bagels ever. i have had better bagels in Vermont. take a drive to Bagel Hut in great neck, thats a bagel. i can’t bite through their bagels unless they are toasted. the lines are always out the door, its an hour process to get a sandwich here. if this wasn’t the ONLY bagel spot in town, i wouldn’t go. besides the lines, don’t bother trying to call to get a delivery, they always have an excuse not to deliver. if you try and call in an order, the owner says «your going to have to wait a while» then puts you on hold for 30 minutes and then tells you you have to wait another 45 to pick up food because they are busy. if you know your busy everyday, you’d think he would have someone just doing phone orders, or just don’t offer the service of pick up and delivery.
i promise you guys, there are better bagels out there. just not in glen cove.

By far the best bagels on Long Island. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and have never been disappointed. I look forward to days when I can go to the bagel café.
I have tried a plethora of things at bagel café, most on bagels but there chopper salads are also very good. The baked salmon salad is amazing especially on a toasted flagel. They also make a great breakfast sandwich. Overall I mostly come to get an everything flagel with scallion cream cheese. That being said if they are out of that I’m happy to have any bagel they make that’s how good they are.
If you come early enough you will have a huge selection of warm bagels. Just be aware of the timing of your visit. The line can also be all the way to the door… Although it’s annoying it’s a sure sign of a great bagel place! The owner and the staff are also extremely content and helpful at all times.

I’m giving 5 stars for a good egg sandwich and great customer service. I was in the mood for a French toast bagel so I called and they said no problem, come in a half an hour. Sure enough, I had delicious fresh baked bagels and their egg sandwiches are good. I don’t drink coffee but their juice selection was great so it suited me. The menu is large and I tried the buff chick wrap which was good but they have a ton of different flavors of cream cheeses, types of sandwiches and whatever else you could think of. Try it out for yourself

The bagels are awesome. Hands down some of the best bagels on LI. The lines are long but the staff moves fast so what may seem like forever is not long at all! It is a little pricey, yes but they are totally worth it.

i love this place, the bagels, sandwiches, coffee and service are all top notch. The workers are ALWAYS helpful and accommodating and quick to offer a suggestion for those times when you are unsure what you want. i wish i lived closer so I can frequent them more often… aces in my book!

I chatted with the owner while waiting for a bagel, and he’s on top of things. It shows. The selection of foods for breakfast and lunch are impressive, and care is given to quality and service. Bagels are rolled and boiled on site with a great array of cream cheeses. Nova salmon is sliced to order, a nice touch that, I feel, makes a difference in taste. It’s a solid operation.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was already a fan, as I’ve been visiting their location on Fulton Street in lower Manhattan (Long Island Bagel Café) for a few years now.

The lines are always super long, but there’s a reason for that. The bagels are great and their coffee is good. They had these holiday cookies and pastries that were delcious. The guys at the register are always great. My one complaint is that I wanted an egg and cheese on a bagel and asked for avocado with it… I saw the avocados by the tossed salad… and they told me they didn’t have any and couldn’t do it. I’ve never had a problem at any other bagel places I ordered. (So they lose a star for that)

I will buy no other bagel. Soft, chewy, fresh. Perfectly done.
Down side… they don’t always have oatmeal bagels, and no signs on the
bagel baskets so you are never exactly sure what kind of bagels they have
on any given day. Flagels wonderful as well.
A bit pricey but worth every penny.

A hidden gem this place has great food and makes it just the way you want it. Definitely worth trying if you like good food but dont mind waiting a little on line. Usually it gets packed fast tho just as a fair warning. And the pastrys here are huge as well so theres alot to go with your lunch.

This is bagel Mecca. If you want the ultimate bagel experience then you have to head to Glen Cove Bagel Café. The bagels have a slight crunch on the outside which compliment the fluffy ethereal insides perfectly. Get a sausage, egg and cheddar cheese on an egg everything bagel and you’ll know what living is truly like.
