Maid to Perfection

I hired them to clean my friend’s house and since I live in a different state, I can’t verify results, but she just called me and says they were AMAZING. She is a cleaning fiend herself normally but just had a baby, and she said they really went into every nook and cranny, were fast, sweet, so professional. I am so thankful that they did such a wonderful job and made my friend SO happy.

Unbelievable! The last time my place looked this clean was when I moved in. And it shines! Amazing. Plus Judy and Sarah couldn’t have been nicer. I’ve hired other maids before, but these two are the only ones who exceeded all expectations. I couldn’t be happier!

Thank you Gary and all others for helping in a pinch. I appreciate your can do attitude. This review comes a little late but never too late. Your hearts are all in good places. My friend was very thankful for all you did to make her home sparkle.

Just moved to the ‘burbs and needed a thorough cleaning in the house we purchased. Gary was able to accommodate us through several date changes.
The girls who cleaned for us were very thorough and couldn’t be sweeter!

We hired MTP to clean our 1500 SF house every other week. We’ve had cleaning services before when we lived in other cities, so we know what to look for. Based on mostly positive reviews, we chose MTP over others in our area.
The first couple of times, the ladies did a marvelous job. Everything was gleaming and we were very happy. Then the quality began to slip slightly. Then the owner would call and give an excuse as to why the team couldn’t make it this week. Then he wanted to charge us more money after a couple months of service. When we asked why, he indicated it was taking the crew longer than expected to clean the house. Let me just say, we are pretty clean people with an average sized home and NO clutter, so this made no sense. It would seem that the owner is over-​booking his crews, or perhaps he isn’t sending enough personnel to the jobs. Either way, that is a management issue.
We ended up parting ways after the crew was unable to make it one day when it snowed an inch or two. No one called us, in fact, my husband had to call the office to find out if the crew was planning to come, only to find out that they were not.
It’s disappointing to have what seemed like a promising situation turn sour.

Can’t say anything about how they clean… but I can say that their management is horrible! I talked to someone on 6 different occasion so try and set something up but for some reason or another they could never give me a positive answer if they could come that day. The conversation was always ended with let me call u back but that day looks open. They would never call back right away or even that same day! Every time I called them back they had no idea what was going on. Super unorganized. If I wanted to spend that much time playing phone tag iu would just deep clean my place myself! (I live in downers grove)

These folks have been wonderful to work with. We have had them cleaning our home once every other week for over a year and the service has been great. I have come to love what has become my favorite day — Cleaning Lady day! The Ladies work around my crazy schedule when I need them to and have been so good at getting the rooms I hate to clean — Bathroom & Kitchen done in such a way that I am so pleased.

Update: I let them go, as after a few months the quality just slid downhill. Basic stuff like dusting was simply not done, even after several calls. Oh well, good intentions in the office but the ladies doing the work must be in a huge hurry.

I’ve been using Maid to Perfection for a few months now and couldn’t be happier. Good pricing, good quality and great service. The girls are all very nice and the people in the office are as accommodating as possible. I am very happy with them!

We recently moved out of Glen Ellyn and had soo many things to do during the move. We didn’t want to add to our stress by spending a day cleaning out our place. Gary was very helpful and to the point while discussing my options on the phone. They did a fantastic job in only 1 hour and 10 minutes of work. I was very surprised on how great everything looked. I have to be honest, i didn’t think that it was going to be as good as it turned out to be. I will gladly come back to them when i need something cleaned and if anybody asks me about a cleaning service, I’ll recommend them highly.

After my previous cleaning company cancelled my appointment, I knew I needed to find a different company to clean the house prior to our weekend get together. I found MTP on Unilocal,and was impressed with the reviews. I called them, and luckily was able to grab a same day cleaning from MTP (I live very close to their main office). The cleaning crew arrived promptly, and got straight to work. They were friendly, professional, and exceeded my expectations. On top of that, I just received a follow up call from the owner, Gary, just to make sure his services were up to par with my expectations. If that isn’t stellar customer service, I don’t know what is.
While I only have one other cleaning company to compare MTP to, there really isn’t much to compare. MTP cleaned my home better and faster than my previous company. I like to think that I know quality when I see it, and MTP offers quality cleaning services at an affordable rate. I look forward to setting up a weekly

Well I now have finally setup a bi-​weekly cleaning schedule with Gary @ MTP. Gary was ever patient with working around my crazy work schedule and ensuring a time slot be available to me every other Wednesday. The cleaning crew that comes to my house are complete sweethearts. They are some of the nicest people you will meet, and they work HARD. Good people are hard to find, so I try and make sure to tip them well and keep them happy! Anyways, I’m planning on having MTP steam clean & scotch guard some of our microfiber furniture, so I’ll update on that after those services are complete. Gary and the entire crew at MTP deserve credit for the fantastic services and reasonable prices they offer. I will be referring them to anyone that’ll listen!

I’ve continued to have MTP as my semi-​regular cleaning people. The only reason I say «semi» is because I have a very unusual work schedule and it has been a struggle on my part to stay consistent with a regular bi-​weekly cleaning date. Regardless, Gary & Judy have continued to work around my hectic schedule and have continuously provided me with cleaning crews that have gone above and beyond our expectations. Don’t hesitate to bring them in and give them a chance, Gary & Jusy have proven to be stand up business people, and I can assure you that if you are unhappy with the services rendered that MTP will make it right. Give them a call, they deserve your business!

Maid to Perfection came through in a big way when we needed big help! Scheduling was very friendly — despite the fact that I kept calling to request changes to the game plan. The crew did an excellent job in a short amount of time. I highly recommend their services!

So sad and disappointed with them. The owner is very friendly, gives a great pitch. I singed up for a deep clean, which was done right except for dust left on the furniture and windowsills. But when I called back to finalize a price and a maintenance schedule, I got the run around and a bait and switch on pricing. He kind of did it off the cuff, talking about «man hours» and such.
If you call them for service, make sure you get everything he says in writing. He does not see your home for himself, so he guesses. It’s good cop bad cop.

Gary and his staff clean my mother-in-law’s apartment and they do an excellent job. She was reluctant letting strangers into her apartment but they quickly earned her trust and she is very satisfied with their work. They have been very flexible when we have needed to change the schedule and have been a pleasure to work with. We are very, very happy with this organization.

I used this cleaning service to do a final clean of our house that we sold. I read the Unilocal reviews and decided to give them a try. I had 3 ladies come to do the cleaning… They brought all of the cleaning supplies (added bonus!!!). They did an amazing job!!! Everything was spotless and shining by the time they left. I do think they are a tad bit pricey, but at that point it was so worth it to have them do the final cleaning for us.
I would highly recommend this cleaning service. The girls were so nice and very professional and did an outstanding job!

I’ll start this by saying I’m a perfectionist. Called and they came out on short notice — nice. Price was reasonable and they cleaned a number of things that I only clean once a year or two. Again, nice, love it. I think they must have been running short on time, geez, maybe my pad was dirtier than I thought, but the final floor mopping was a bit weak in a coupel rooms. Other than that they did a fine job.

We’ve been using Maid to Perfection to clean our 1-​bedroom condo since December 2010. The owner, Gary, came to our place and gave us a reasonable quote for regularly scheduled cleaning. He was very thorough with his assessment and made some great recommendations. The service is awesome and they do a great job cleaning! Gary was even able to help us out with a super-​last-​minute schedule change. I highly recommend them!

Gary and his staff are very proffesional. They are all nice and the cleaning crew does an excellent job. Toni especially does a thorough job. I would def reccommend these guys for cleaning your place!

Gary and the MTP team have done a great job providing on demand, flexible cleaning services for me and my wife. Due to the current recession we can not afford to have someone come weekly on a «fixed schedule». Gary and his staff are able to meet our needs every time and they always make sure they deliver when we need them. I will also add this is the 4^th cleaning service we have used since moving to Glen Ellyn five years ago and I think MTP will be with us for the long haul.

We had these guys out to the house for the first time last week and they did a good job. Before they started, the owner told my wife to let him know if there were any areas they had missed and they’ll be sure to hit them the next time. He wanted to be sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and were paying for.
My wife was very pleased with the service and we noticed they were able to clean several places, items and surfaces that had managed to accumulate a lot of dust over time. I know she’s thrilled that they are coming back on a regular schedule now.

Caution!!! The owner of this business is new to this industry, and is still learning the business. He quoted me one rate, and cleaned my house several times, then raised the rate by $ 30 a week!!! He claims this was due to the time it took to clean my townhouse. Does it really take two people 4 hours to clean a 2100 sq ft home? 8 man hours??? The cleaning was adequate, but know that your quote may change.
