The Art of Good Eating is here to help you revisit the dining experience in your daily life by offering innovative customized meals, events and demonstrations that serve as a catalyst for conversation, sharing and celebration.

History

Established in 2012.

I started this business because of my love of food and the social atmosphere it creates when you get people together (friends, family or even complete strangers!!). «Good Eating» is about selecting, preparing and enjoying the best ingredients available in a relaxing social atmosphere. When we cook meals at home it brings family together. It is about «The Art of Good Eating» not a process to feed our families.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I have held many positions within hotels. I was responsible for catering all special events, with a focus on corporate business meetings as well as managing the front and heart of the house in multiple restaurants.

I joined Westin in 1986 as an apprentice in their three-​year culinary program and have served as a dedicated member of the Starwood Culinary team ever since. Throughout my career, I have served as the executive sous chef for the Sheraton Chicago, the Executive Chef for the Westin O’Hare and most recently as the Executive Chef at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center.

Accolades that I have received include: Graduating from Westin Apprenticeship with highest score ever (1991), «Les Amis d’ Escoffier Society» Dinner (1997), The «American Academy of Chefs» Host Chef (2003), Host Chef for «American Culinary Federation» Central Region Conference (March 2004), Participating Chef «Starwood World Conference,» San Diego (2006), Featured Chef on WOW networks Platinum Weddings.
