We stopped there for lunch on afternoon during a saturday drive out of the city. The warm elegant décor drew us in frm the sidewalk. I had a wonderful light lunch of salmon cooked perfectly with asparagus, onion and small pieces of sweet potaoes drizzled with balsamic and pesto sauces. It was quite tasty. It came with Italian wedding soup served in large bowl that was less than half full. Though it was a good serving the size of the bowl made it seem like they were rationing it. Overall the service was very friendly and we would definitely go back.

We had a table of 9 go for dinner here at the last minute. I have been to this place several times with mixed reviews. However, this visit was so great I just had to write a review! Food was fabulous! The new lite menu they have is delicious and we also got the Chicken, Bacon, Spinach flatbread and loved it! With three kids, wine and many demands our server was awesome — fast and remembered everything. We think his name was Grady. Anyway, after this visit we will be back more often! Bravo!

Pretty Good italian food. ambience it excellent of course at this prime location in bayshore. service was very good, attentive and pleasant, yet a bit impersonal. décor is nice and italian, clean and fresh feeling. patio in the summer is killer. Their bread was good and tasty. I got the Bravo Pasta. I enjoyed it; it was flavorful and fresh and filling. My daughter got the spaghetti and meatballs. the meatballs were ok, nothing special. nothing knocked me out, but it was good enough. price was average, maybe a tiny bit high but my daughter likes the place so we may go back. on par with olive garden as far as price range. olive garden may be a tiny bit above for food quality, to be honest

So there I was… hungry on a Tuesday afternoon, contemplating not only life but what I wanted for lunch. And lo-and-behold I just so happened to have a $ 25 gift card to Bravo tucked snuggly in my wallet. Sweet. So I call em up, tell them I want a bomb ass pizza and a lasagna or whatever they call it. So yadda yadda I drive pick it up bring it home, and oh my… what have they done? The lasagna was very creamy. In a bad way. Like what is all that white stuff in my lasagna… I do not want a flowing river of white unidentifiable substance in my lasagna. And yo where is my dang ricotta cheese? I couldn’t taste any of it. So I stuffed my face with pizza and gave the lasagna to my brother. HAHAHAHTAKETHAT! 4.5 out of 5 stars for the pizza, 2 stars for the lasagna, 1 star for the Church of Scientology, rounded to 3 stars overall because Bayshore is a bitch to navigate. Have a nice day.

This is you average italian chain. The best part is that there will be plenty of food to enjoy as is the case with most italian chains. There are some great things on the menu, but there are also some disappointments. That being said if you know what you like you will not be disappointed and the staff has been good enough to keep me a regular.

There is no Bravo for this experience. My wife received a 2-for-1 «Happy Birthday» offer and I was the«lucky» guy to join her. I had eaten here when it first opened I think four years ago, but my wife had been here about a dozen times. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and led to our table. While we waited for our bread and water to arrive, three senior citizens sitting directly behind us had asked for the manager. While we couldn’t hear everything, they said their meals were subpar. He gave them what looked like half-deserts. Well, what would our fate be? The dining room is definitely upscale Italian and very pleasing. Sadly the food matched the ladies review exactly. I ordered the double Chicken Marsala portion for $ 13.95, just $ 2 more than the single. The potatoes were excellent, the vegetables good but the most important part of the meal disappointing. As for the Chicken, the wine was either missing or overwhelmed by the sauce. It was bland, lacking taste. The«Birthday Girl» ordered one of her favorites, Eggplant Parmesam for $ 12.25. While it was a big portion, it too was bland and nothing to make a return visit, with or without a coupon. Chain or non-chain, the restaurant has to serve above average food and large portions. It has to offer value and quality service to make you WANT to comeback. Bravo failed in every aspect and based on what should have been a very enjoyable luncheon, should be called«Bummer!»

I didn’t realize this was a chain restaurant until my friend told me she had eaten at another location before. That being said, my expectations were not sky high. All I wanted was a light lunch before heading out for a superb meal at Lake Park Bistro(check out my other review). I had a nice pomegranate margarita, bright, tangy with a hint of sugar around the rim. For an entrée, I went with the fried chicken salad. I was a good size, fresh and came with fried onions on top. I probably wouldn’t order it again, just for the sake of trying something else. Service by our server was fast and friendly. In all fairness, pasta isn’t my thing, so if I was looking for a place to have dinner, this probably wouldn’t be my go to place. But that’s me and not them.

Killer lobster bisque & lobster ravioli. Warm bread & dipping oil, yum! Been here many times and have always had consistently good service & food. Much better than Olive Garden but similar concept.

It’s a chain. At a mall. Keep that in mind when you form your expectations. I happen to enjoy their somewhat contrived ambience, mainly because I have never been disappointed with their food. The warm bread at the beginning is glorious and it’s hard to restrain myself and save room for the actual food. BUT their food is worth saving room for. I adore their grilled salmon and get it almost every time. The salmon is moist, flavored with a cream sauce and comes with truly fantastic crispy potatoes. The green beans are excellent as well. My mom likes the Balsamic glazed chicken, which is delicious. The chicken has a delightful rice combo with it, just keep the name in mind and remember that it’s balsamic. Dessert: I adore their chocolate lava cake. Is it revolutionary? No. But it is consistently delicious and how can you go wrong? I enjoy Bravo because it is consistently good and features excellent service. As far as Bayshore restaurants go, I prefer Bravo, since Devon has had a disappointing decline.

OK food for a chain place. Our party of 10 had an awesome waiter. They only get two stars bc one in our party had a severe peanut/tree nut allergy. The chef informed us that almost everything(sauces, etc) comes pre-prepared from their vendor and they don’t have any control of ingredients or how to prepare food, including being able to season or use any spices. He was given an unseasoned, grilled chicken breast with a side of mashed potatoes for $ 17 that was no better than hospital food.

I was not impressed. The bread sticks were ok, but the dipping oil was terrible. It was a strange orange color and I do not believe it was olive oil. I had the insalata mista. It was fine, but nothing special. For the entrée, I tried Chianti Braised Beef Ravioli. It was very blah. If you’re going to eat at the Bayshore Mall, I recommend Devon’s. Steer clear of Bravo.

My family and I recently dined here after going to a service for my sister in law’s mother. It was quite a somber time for us so we were looking for a quiet yet warm experience. We were a big group and made sure to call ahead. When we got there, we were seated right away in a comfy back room. It was nice to not be seated on the main floor. Our waiter was super enthusiastic to a fault. In terms of the food, I really like it. I know what to expect and am always pleased. I also enjoy trying to go outside of my comfort zone and getting new things. I wouldn’t say its the«BEST» Italian restaurant to got to but it’s a safe bet that you are going to have an enjoyable experience there. The one disappointment I had was that the chocolate chip bread pudding was not how I remembered it. I get that it’s my fault but it was too moist for my liking. Again, not Bravo’s fault but my own. Overall, Bravo is one of my go to spots in Bayshore. I find other places there to be too risky and I know when I go to Bravo, I am going to have a good experience. If anyone has any other better recommendations for the Bayshore area, I am all ears.

We have always enjoyed our meals at this chain restaurant, usually dine at the Bayshore location, but Brookfield is nice too. They have a good selection and attentive waitstaff. We prefer this to Maggianos, but Bravo may be tied with Carabbas.

I actually really like Bravo, but I do get the same thing every time and I know not to go here looking for the bestest authentic Italian. When I lived in New Orleans I worked next door to a Bravo and we would often exchange coffee drinks for house salad and bread. Ever since, I’ve been a big fan of their Ensalada de la Casa. The creamy parmesean-y dressing isn’t heavy or overpowering, the cuts of tomato and cucumbers are crisp and fresh and I love the little crispy bits on top that add a mild crunch. The bread is amazing. Served warm with dipping oil, its everything a good appetizer bread should be. My best friend once drunkenly said that she wish her tongue was made of bread so that she could lick the plate oil — its that good. Clearly she’s a little nuts, but the point is there. The bread and oil should be simple and yummy, but its so good sometimes you just want to make it your meal. I don’t go here that often — we’re big Italian food eaters and we spread our custom to many places, meaning we don’t frequent any of them that often — so when I want what I love here — which is the appetizer Ravioli al forno. I don’t know why it’s an appetizer — it’s a pasta dish and I never finish it. It’s cheese ravioli covered in alfredo sauce and then«striped» diagonally with both spaghetti sauce and pesto sauce, giving you the best of all the pasta sauce worlds. It’s then crisped up in the oven(al forno.) The plate comes out sizzling hot and is so on nom nom yummy. It’s warm, inviting comfort food at its finest. The alfredo is creamy but not too heavy. But really, its just that I love that I don’t have to choose between the sauces — I get them all. I like that the do wine flights and also have a good menu of sangrias and fruity mixed drinks — especially in the spring/summer. So here’s the thing — you can’t have lofty expectations. It’s mass produced Italian for the masses. The flavors are going to be slightly bland to appeal to a lot of palates. That’s what you get with chain food dining. But if you’re aware of that going in, you’re not going to be disappointed. They also have side rooms that can accomodate larger groups, which is nice. You can call ahead and get on the wait list and there’s things to do outside at Bayshore to entertain you while you’re waiting.

My wife and I, looking for a nice place for a late lunch popped in one weekday after shopping. The service was very good and attentive, I never had an empty cup of coffee. As far as Italian food, I was not impressed. Milwaukee has a lot better options for the same price and with a more authentic taste and feel but if this is your only option then it’s your only option. The lasagna lacked certain flavors I’m accustomed too and overall the food was more suited to a child’s palette then to an adults. Which if you have kids is great. I wouldn’t say BRAVO! but again if it’s your only option.

I was here with a friend recently. A Monday night, so we got a table immediately. The place is big, and just seemed blah. We ordered an Anti-Pasta salad to split, and it was good, but somewhat small. I had chicken parm, which was OK at best. I mean, even though they come off as being more«upscale» Italian, I feel like I could have gotten the same thing at Olive Garden. My piece of chicken was small, and probably frozen. My friend had some sort of pasta with sausage that look alright, but nothing to write home about. The prices seemed reasonable from what I remember.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the décor. It’s nice, but it seemed overkill and pretentious. Our service wasn’t great, decent yet a little insincere, and on the verge of patronizing. Towards the end of the meal they seemed like they were rushing us out. I understand restaurants want turn-over, but I feel no sympathy when there are plenty of other tables open. For my main meal I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken & Spinach. It was ok, but nothing special. I could have made something better at home. The spinach wasn’t even cooked, but it was good that way but I didn’t understand why they didn’t taken the stems off… The other two had the Shrimp & Chicken Scampi which was good and light, and the Pesto Tortellini which looked pretty good but wasn’t sure about the interesting addition of jalapeños. The prices were ok, but I feel like I was paying more for the surroundings than for the meal itself. Probably my favorite part was the bread. It was warm and delicious with herbs, I especially loved the rosemary. And when that’s my favorite part of the experience, I probably won’t return.

I had mixed feelings about this restaurant. My girlfriend and I started off by splitting the calamari and insalata mista(mixed green salad). The calamari was about average but our waiter raved about it. The salad was really good and was really enjoyable. For entrees, we had the pizza napoli and cheese ravioli. The pizza was good but too salty. The cheese ravioli was tasty but if this was the only thing I ate then I would definitely not be full. The service here was good and the prices are pretty reasonable too($ 10 – 13 for entrees). We sat outdoors and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed, and I would definitely come back in the future.
