Cool shapes and a very useful gifts. They can also customize the diaper cakes with other things that you request. We weren’t able to customize ours, since it was a last minute order. But the new mommy sure appreciated the gift, especially since they were diapers.

So these are«cakes» made of diapers for new parents. It’s a really good idea. Better than an actual cake and much more useful. We ordered one for my buddy and his wife after they had a baby. The diapers were very useful.

I was in need of a unique gift for my friends baby. I wanted a diaper cake and she was able to make it fast and it looked just like I imagined. She is very nice and professional and makes the cakes in a clean way that the new mommy was able to use all the diapers. It was a beautiful and very useful gift. I would recommend it to everyone who is in need of a unique present that’s is very useful too.

I work a million hour shifts most of the time, and come to an awesome baby. Needless to say, the last thing I have time for is a thoughtful gift for a newborn baby or expecting mom. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to. I really do. I hate gift certificates(I’d rather not give a gift than to give something so impersonal), but it’s so tough to shop with the kiddo, and even tougher to find the time and uninterrupted space to build something so special as a diaper cake. Which is why I was so glad to see this page pop up on my instagram feed. These are not your average diaper cakes(you know the kind that are slathered in glue and glitter, and are anything but baby-safe… full of useless items, or no items at all. just bad diapers inadvertently glued to one another). This girl Ani actually makes these cakes so meticulously and creatively, I was blown away. Just to try her out, I texted the number on instagram to order a mustache themed diaper cake. She responded right away, and the price was so reasonable. I think it was about $ 75… which is less than I’ve spent buying items for diaper cakes that were 2 glue gun blotches short of disaster. She responded promptly, asked me when I needed it, and got some info(sex of the baby, some interests of the parents, etc). I said they’re the closest things to Armenian hipsters, and she said the mustache themed diaper cake would be perfect. And that it was. I swung by her place(she works from home), in Glendale on my way to the hospital and picked it up. She even explained that she does one final wrapping over the final cake to make sure that nothing unsanitary touches the diapers so that they’re perfectly safe for the mom to use on the baby. I walked into the hospital room, and it was instantly a big hit. We totally pushed aside the other useless gifts(chocolate favors, flowers, the yooj) and placed our awesome diaper cake as the delivery room centerpiece. The new mom texted me later that day to thank me, and said she was super impressed by the quality and cleanliness… mostly the cuteness though. I later ordered another one that was shaped like a motorcycle, and had it delivered to a new mom. She was so hormonally grateful, it was heartwarming. So thanks dapper cakes. For once I wasn’t the useless visitor with the useless gift; or more frequently — no gift. I’m totally texting Ani the next time I see someone eating pickles and ice cream scratching their belly.
