Facets Pilates offers Classsical Pilates training for clients in the studio tradition with one on one instruction, small group and mat classes. Facets Pilates also provides instructor certification and education through Peak Pilates®, a division of Mad Dogg Athletics®

History

Established in 2004.

Facets Pilates started in Los Feliz in 2004. In 2009, operations moved to Glendale/​Burbank to become the première Classical Pilates studio offering in the Media District.

Business Owner

I’m Facets Pilates founder Nadia Ahern and I started my journey with Pilates in 1993, traveling international borders to work with someone who taught the method so I could improve my awkward body’s posture and breathing. I apprenticed and earned my Pilates certification in Chicago in 1998, completing over 500 hours of training to do so. Relocating to Los Angeles, I founded Facets PILATES in order to continue providing my private clients classical Pilates training in the grand studio tradition. Just like a diamond with its many facets, my exposure to different bodywork modalities informs my approach to the Pilates system with my clients. I also provide workshops, education and certification programming through Peak Pilates® as a Master instructor and offer mat classes at Andre’s Martial Arts in the Burbank Town Center in the heart of Downtown Burbank. I’m excited to bring Joseph Pilates’ work to the Media District and help you get on the path to a healthy and strong body!
