Dr. Kevorkian and all his workers are absolutely amazing! The level of professionalism is unbelievable. I had huge gaps between my teeth and he was able to do his magic and transform my teeth! Dr. Kevorkian and his lovely staff gave me the smile I always wanted! They are all very efficient, caring, and punctual and provide the best possible service in the industry. They look out for their patients to ensure you get the best results with minimal visits and do not overcharge. The longest wait time I had through my entire Invisalign process was 5 minutes. I was referred to this office by my brother & will highly recommend all my family & friends to this genuinely impeccable office.

The staff here is awesome! I have only good things to say about these ladies. They’ve always been very friendly and sweet. I had upper jaw surgery and needed braces before it. Dr Kevorkian and his team worked with the crazy scheduling and demands of my surgeon. Dr Kevorkian, himself, is great! He always greets you with a big smile and genuinely cares about your well being.
Service like this is hard to find from all ends. Very grateful for them and all they’ve done for me the past year. My pre and post-​op experience would not have been the same without them.

I absolutely love Designer Smiles. Of all our kids’ service providers, and we have MANY, these guys are the best. Their estimate regarding the cost of services was 100% reliable, they’re easy to schedule with, and they never keep us waiting. I had my braces for a little less than 2 years and now after 3 years of having them off, I remain satisfied with the results. Office was always clean and usually packed with maybe one seat open, if that. Waiting time was usually very minimal, maybe 15 minutes max and when inside, work was performed extremely quickly. There were times I got in and out of there within 15 minutes. Dr. Kevorkian seems very experienced in what he does and everyone in the office seems to have a clear sense of their role. Overall, Kevorkian and his staff were very professional and had an organized system in place to ensure productivity.
My interaction with Dr. Kevorkian was extremely minimal, his ‘bedside manner’ came off as very dry. He would never even greet me with a hello or how are you and his work with me rarely took longer than 30 seconds. His dental staff was equally as standoffish but they were knowledgeable and got the job done quickly.
Despite shortfalls with his office environment, Dr. Kevorkian did an excellent job fixing my teeth. I would recommend him — my experience was pleasing and the braces process was completed in a rapid and almost painless manner. Not once did I face a complication as a patient of Dr. Kevorkian — not even a broken bracket!

This man is life! Seriously, one of the bestssss! He did mine and my brother’s braces almost 4 years ago and our teeth are still looking perfect considering we haven’t used the retainers! His team has been very professionally trained. I highly recommend him!

The first time I went to Dr. Kevorkian’s office in Glendale was about 2.5 years ago. I went there after consulting with a few other Orthodontists in Glendale and immediately knew that I’d much prefer to visit Dr. Kevorkian and his staff for the next 2 – 3 years over any other office.
Now, I am near finished with Invisalign and am very happy with the result.
So, to summarize, this is what I base my

So satisfied with the results after I got braces. My teeth were so-​so and I had braces for about a year and half and they came out perfect! Gary and his staff are always really nice and professional. Gary didn’t lag anything and did a great job on my teeth.

I will keep my review short, as my experience with Dr. Kevorkian was many years ago. I was 10 (I’m 29 now) when I received braces because my tooth was coming out crookedly and was told there’s no room in my mouth for that particular tooth, basically. Anyway, apparently I had to get braces, and thus I did. In the end, my teeth looked fine, and everything appeared okay in my mouth tooth-​wise. The issue is that I have gone to several different dentists since then, and they are all shocked that anyone put braces on my teeth. They have straight out told me so. More than 1 dentist has said that my front upper teeth have some of the shortest roots they’ve ever seen (one said if I bite into something too hard, they might literally fall out). They said this was probably made worse by the fact that I had braces and my teeth moved around so much. It was a problem that is probably related to genetics, but made worse by the braces. They said that basically my orthodontist should have at least WARNED me/​told me about it, but I never heard anything from him. I only learned about this problem when I was in my late teens. I just think that he made the decision to go ahead and give me braces without letting me know about my short roots (which, again, multiple doctors have since warned me about, and been shocked about my braces). It doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it is. I just wish he had said something when I was first getting my braces. I might not have gotten them (but then again, that might have been the problem). I’m pretty sure my teeth had at least semi-​short roots back then, as I was 10 but looked like I was a teenager (I mean, I was physically almost how I am now, I was pretty mature in that way). Anyway, not happy about that. :/​I’m always worried about biting into things now as an adult. Just make sure you ask more questions.

The young ladies at the reception desk –Vera, Alina, Romina — are helpful, conscientious and friendly. From accounting issues to follow-​up and appointment reminder calls, they make a wonderful team.
The best of it for me is that you don’t have to be a kid to correct your teeth for comfort and aesthetics. Designer Smiles will enhance your personal attraction at any age and extend your lease on youth.
I have to drive far to receive my treatment at Designer Smiles. But you know what? In the long run, it’s well worth it because it doesn’t feel like you’re going there for dental work. It’s more like a beauty salon where they pamper you.

I went for a consultation last week, I’ve met Dr. Kevorkian in the past so I have had the unfortunate experience of sitting in his chair… and yet I did it again 14 years later, my mistake but thought maybe I was young at that time and a bit sensitive to his cocky attitude and rudeness. His demeanor and tone was almost insulting, to the point where I wanted to laugh, as he thought he was talking to a 2^nd grader (no offense to youngsters), with his 2^nd grade examples of what is wrong with my bite… funny thing is I told him what my diagnosis is and I was there for only his consult and opinion. Not to diagnose me and tell me what is wrong with my bite when I’ve know my issues for 5+ years now, and remember I told him what my issue is, but he went on and on with his tool minded examples. Wow, I couldn’t wait to get out of there fast enough. He also had a bit of a hearing problem, telling me to go get Kaiser insurance so I get easy approvals, etc. I’m in the Health Care industry I work for a major carrier, I told him that and he continued to tell me to go get Kaiser, that’s when the 2^nd grade talking made sense to me, when I told him very slowly that my employer is my health insurance carrier… HE FINALLY GOT IT! Ya won’t be choosing this tool as my ortho for sure!
Aside from the doc — office is clean, but good luck finding a seat in the waiting room, looks like they overbook quite often, reading from the one true reviewer below that I saw, seems like the rest of the reviewers are bit fake, a little too good to be true

Professional, clean, and quite modern.
Been going to this Ortho for the past 3 years. I must say everytime I am there, the place is CLEAN! The employees are all professional and on task. Must commend management, as they have found a balance of comfort at work, yet not too laid back or over the top.
I am quite happy with the work done so far. It’s all good. I like that they are flexible with appointments and don’t give you a hard time if you cancel or postpone. Parking sometimes could be tough if you’re there afternoon.
If you need an ortho, go check them out. They are good.

Dr. Kevorkian and his staff are the most friendly and understanding orthodontic professionals you will ever encounter.
My wife has had a number of dental issues in the past years. As a result, her teeth underwent some shifting and needed to be realigned. Because of all the dental issues, my wife has extreme anxiety when it comes to any sort of teeth-​related procedures.
Luckily for us, we found Dr. Kevorkian’s office. He and his staff were very understanding and respectful of my wife’s anxiety. Dr. Kevorkian was very calm and friendly, always speaking in a low, soothing voice. He is extremely patient and we’ve never seen him get frustrated or annoyed. He made sure to explain everything he was doing before he did it. He genuinely listened to any concerns me or my wife might have had and made sure he addressed them and that we understood what we had been told. His staff always made us feel comfortable too, especially Vera, who knew us by name and recognized us on the phone whenever we called.
The orthodontic work is nearly all done, all we have left to do is have a retainer made. I can’t imagine having a better orthodontic experience anywhere else.

Excellent customer service from Dr Kevorkian himself and from all of the front and back office staff. Fair price without having to sacrifice service.
Everyone in the office are professional and very helpful. He is a perfectionist! My braces stayed on until he got the results that he wanted. And NO, I did NOT pay extra to keep them on longer, just the set price that was given to me during the initial evaluation.
I have to disagree with Linda M’s whole review. He is not money hungry, greedy and I highly doubt he only prefers cash. Maybe Linda M’s experience was all in her head because her review sounds suspicious.
One thing to mention that I think is quite important is my experience during the initial evaluation. Since my teeth were not too bad, I could have gotten invisalign, but felt that it was not a good fit due to my lifestyle and personality. Not only did I want clear braces, I wanted the most expensive clear braces available. He was very honest with me and told me flat out that I did not need them since my braces were only going to be on for about 6 – 9 months. He said «why buy a Porsche when you are going to drive below speed level?» Okay… so maybe those were not the exact words, but you get the jist… there was a Porsche and driving slow mentioned!
Dr Kevorkian is not the cheapest around… his clinic is in North Glendale, CA for goodness sakes, NOT the ghetto. If you want ghetto prices… go to the ghetto!
There has to be a reason why my brother, my cousin, my friend and now me went to him! Meet him yourself so you can come to your own conclusion.

I had braces as a kid, but failed to understand that I would need to wear a retainer for the rest of my life. Fast forward to my late 20’s and my teeth had drifted so badly I had trouble chewing my food properly. I was hoping that I might be eligible for invisalign, but Dr. Kevorkian explained that with my level of overbite I would need traditional braces once more. Although I was a bit self conscious at first, the entire office was very professional and understanding. The treatment was done painlessly, way better then when I was a kid, and the clear braces I got were barely noticeable. It didn’t stop me from smiling! The treatment went quickly and the braces were off before I knew it! Now I can eat properly ad my smile has never looked better :) Thank you Dr. Kevorkian and your lovely staff, I highly recommend their services.

My son just got his braces yesterday. He is a bit of a nervous kid with a terrible gag reflex. Miraculously, Dr, Kevorkian managed to make him feel totally at ease and he had no problem at all. In fact, my son had NO PAIN at all after the braces were installed. He ate steak the same night. Wow! I remember getting braces and I was in terrible pain for a week.
The staff helped to contribute to our wonderful experience. I am so happy that I chose to come here.

Dr. Kevorkian has a great bedside manner. I had met and gotten a diagnosis/​estimates from two other orthodontists. I didn’t feel comfortable with the two. When I met with and spoke to Dr. Kevorkian, he was very forthcoming and was very honest about what I needed or didn’t need. He has a gentle manner and is always willing to answer my questions or concerns. I felt very comfortable and safe under his care. His staff, from the nurses/​assistants who manage the routine maintenance visits to the office staff were also very professional and seem very competent.
I highly recommend Dr Kevorkian for your orthodontic treatment. I was very happy with my results.

Who would ever have thought that a factory system of orthodontics could work so well? I was initially dubious when I saw the multiple chairs in Dr. Kevorkian’s suite, and the way he floated from one to the other, checking in on his «assistants», but it works!
The women who do most of the actual work are very experienced, and Dr. Kevorkian pops his head in to check, give direction, and perform the high-​level detail work. Everything flows smoothly, and no corners are ever cut. In fact, I was due to get my braces removed and Dr. Kevorkian opted to continue treatment and make several tweaks, at his own expense, just to ensure the results were the best possible.
Billing Manager Vera is a delight, as are all the staff, and I cannot recommend this practice more highly.
