My cousins and I had our makeup done for a wedding, and not only did Giovanissa do an amazing job, but it was a pleasure working with her. She really listens to you and generally tries her hardest to connect with you to make the experience stress-​free and fun. Definitely book her if you’ve got a wedding coming up!

She is awesome! She was able to fit me In the day before my photo shoot, she is a true talent my make up was gorgeous she gave me just what was needed not a heavy made up look, but more of a natural look to enhance my natural beauty, which was perfect for my photos, she works from home and is extremely professional, can’t thank you enough for making my shoot go smoothly :-)

Giovanissa did amazing work for my December wedding! Only about a month before my wedding, I decided did I need professional makeup (I think I had been deluding myself for a while), and I crossed my fingers that I could find a high-​quality artist that was available.
Giovanissa responded within 30 minutes to my original inquiry, and I had her booked for my wedding within the hour.
She met my small wedding party at a hotel near my venue, and got started immediately. She convinced my reluctant maid of honor to try false eyelashes (neither of us had ever worn them), and the results were gorgeous.
She was quick, efficient, pleasant, and her results were lovely. Thank you, Giovanissa, for making me look my best for my wedding!

I’ve hired a few makeup artists but have never been completely satisfied. Either the makeup was too bland — why hire someone to do a makeup look I could do myself — or I ended up looking way overdone. Giovanissa makes you look like a Hollywood star. Her makeup is perfect!

A long overdue review! My girlfriend and I had a wedding to attend in LA, and needed a makeup artist at the last minute. Giovanissa was kind enough to not only squeeze us in for our makeup, but also our hair!
She did a dewy face for me, with bold eyes. The makeup looked very natural, and stayed put the entire night! It was exactly what I was looking for. On my friend, she did a more 1950s inspired look, which looked absolutely beautiful! Thanks Giovanissa!!!

Giovanissa is so sweet and she did my makeup and hair for my birthday and it turned out amazing! I got so many compliments and she listened to what I wanted and I could not have been happier with it.

Giovanissa is truly a talented artist! I needed my makeup done for my cousins wedding and she did a beautiful job. She was available early in the morning which was great for me, and responded in minutes whenever I texted her any questions. She also sent me a reminder days before which was great! My makeup lasted all day and night (even through all of the tear jerking toasts). All in all, she was professional, detailed, and super friendly. I will definitely getting her services again!

Giovanissa truly is an artist! I fortunately was able to book her a few weeks prior to my brothers wedding and she kindly accepted! We were 10 ladies total and she made sure she set aside enough time for everyone to have a great experience and love their look!
She was very punctual and professional. We all enjoyed having her over! Her prices are very reasonable and she has a small travel fee, but totally worth not having to drag bridal parties around town to get glammed up!
I would highly recommend her for any event and I look forward to working with her again!

Giovanissa, here do I start? Do I stay as her quick responding to messages, which to a bride is very very important, or for her understanding if you have a tight budget and willing to work with you! Her positive and caring attitudes make you feel that it’s all about YOU, you’re the most important to her! Now when it comes to how professional she is, I can’t speak enough of how great her work is, SHE KNOWS what she’s doing people. Giovanissa saved the day!!! I had to find a makeup artist and a hair stylist for my wedding last minute. My sister remembered that she was in a wedding party last year and she really liked the makeup and hair that the bridal party had (done by Giovanissa and Mary). We called her and she fit us in at 8pm that same day for a trial session… My panic mode ended after I saw the beautiful results. She is truly wonderful. She is THE MAKEUP AND HAIR ARTIST you want for your event… trust me, I am very picky :) Giovanissa, you guys rocked and made me feel like a million bucks on my special day… AND I got pictures to prove it!

A little late, but I knew I had to write this review! Once again I was lucky enough to score an appointment with Giovanissa to do my make up for my senior prom and she did an AMAZING job! Shes a fairy glam-​mother and does an incredible job at making you not only look, but feel beautiful on a special day! I got compliments on my make up all night!

This is really long overdue but this woman is amazing!!!
She did my make up for my cousins wedding on march 29^th and made me look and feel gorgeous, i felt safe enough to trust her and let her do her thing. Ive had my make up done by different artists through out my life shes by far the best!!!
She also has the best energy and vibes! And she herself is gorgeous!!!

I had the BEST experience getting my make-​up done by Giovanissa! She was amazingggg, really personable, friendly and professional. I’m always skeptical about getting my make-​up done but after reading her 5 star reviews I was confident that she would do a great job and she didn’t disappoint.
Giovanissa is so sweet and extremely easy to work with. When you contact her she instantly gets back to you– so very responsive! She asks for a few details when you book to try and find out what you are hoping to have for your overall make-​up look and what you would suit depending on your facial features/​facial structure.
On the day of my make-​up I arrived at her house in Glendale where she welcomed me into her home and set to work to make me beautiful! ;) She had so many products to use and seemed to know exactly what to use to suit my complexion. (Imagine you are just getting your make-​up done amazingly well by a friend– how how it was, ha ha.)
I was so thrilled with the end result. It just looked flawless! I didn’t know my skin could look so good! ;) I was so excited to have Giovanissa do my make-​up and I was so glad I found her. I will definitely be visiting again when I need my make-​up done in the future. She also has hopes to start doing hair styling in the future so keep an eye out for her hair services too!
My Husband loved my make-​up also, he told me it was even better than my wedding make-​up so I was a little disappointed I hadn’t of found Giovanissa a few months earlier when I got married, Oh well, I have my «go to» make-​up artist now! ;-)

I am beyond happy that I was able to get my hair and makeup done by the lovely Giovanissa! Seriously, she makes you feel so welcomed and you leave feeling like a movie star!

Makeup:
I got my hair and makeup done a couple weekends ago for a wedding. I told her that I was a bridesmaid and that I wanted a natural look and that’s all she needed to know. She worked her magic and I honestly have never felt more beautiful. She sprayed an HD finishing spray after the makeup was applied, since I would be taking pictures later on. She said it would help with the glow and make sure your makeup stays flawless for pictures.
It was such a great experience! I’ve never had my makeup done before, and I barely wear makeup as it is, so honestly I was a little nervous because I didn’t want it to come out looking clown-​like. It was nothing like that. I got so many compliments all day because Giovanissa makes you look THAT gorgeous. When you feel gorgeous and everyone tells you look gorgeous… there’s nothing that can bring you down.
Hair:
All I did was show Elya a picture of a hairstyle I found on Pinterest and she replicated it perfectly. She started doing my hair while I was still getting my makeup done, so I have both these lovely ladies making me look amazing, and of course I’m thinking «I bet this is what a celebrity feels like.» Totally awesome.
*My mom also got her hair and makeup done for the wedding, and she looked AMAZING. Maybe later on I can add her review too.

I feel so lucky that Giovanissa was available to do my makeup on New year’s eve. She is extremely talented and very professional. I was amazed by her transformation of me. I wish she could do my makeup everyday! There’s a reason why Giovanissa has amazingly strong reviews. She’s an artist. She is extremely skilled at makeup and can achieve any look you want. She’s honest and will give you guidance along the way. I showed her a photo of what I wanted, I had never felt more beautiful and radiant while still looking like me. She’s a perfectionist, prompt, fast, efficient, has the cutest personality, and most importantly – extremely good.
I will definitely be recommending her to family and friends.
