Noteworthy Moving Systems

Fantastic. This was as easy and painless as moving can be. They sent four professional movers to move us out of our two bedroom apartment into our new home. They even moved my piano. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and carefully wrapped all of my furniture in packing blankets and plastic wrap. Such a joy. We were unpacking in our new home in only a few short hours. Would highly recommend.

Called them last minute (that week for a move on Saturday), they were immediately responsive, efficient and did great work. Would definitely use Jim and his team again! A+

The owner Mark came to give us a detailed quote for moving and, like his entire crew, was personable and professional. We moved the contents of a 1,600 sq ft house + 2 car garage about 60 miles and Noteworthy stored our belongings over night for delivery the following day.
When they arrived to move us out they realized that we had seriously underestimated how much we could pack. But this did not faze them. They called in extra help right away and they wrapped and packed our things carefully and speedily so that we didn’t incur overtime charges. The crew were pleasant, hardworking, honest, and diligent.
The following day they arrived promptly to unload and worked steadily without even taking a lunch break until everything neatly was stowed away in our new home.
From my first phone call to them to the last box unloaded from their truck, everything went smoothly due to Noteworthy. I never want to move again, but if I did I would use Noteworthy in a heartbeat.

I have used Noteworthy Moving Systems numerous times for residential and business moves. I have also referred them to many friends and family who always decide to use Noteworthy after researching a variety of companies.
Noteworthy is by far the most honest, reliable, professional, and hard working moving company I have ever worked with. They are trustworthy, courteous, and very skilled at what they do. It is evident that the employees, at all levels, take great pride in their work and customer service.
As an office manager, I have had to schedule multiple business moves. Noteworthy Moving Systems’ pricing structure is clear and concise. Unlike other companies, there are no hidden fees, or vague up-​charges that can quickly raise prices exponentially. In addition, Noteworthy includes many tools and services that help make the move more efficient, thus decreasing the time it takes to complete the job, and therefore keeping the total cost down.
They are extremely dependable for every aspect of the move, from start to finish.
1. Their estimate of equipment requirements are spot on. They don’t just throw out random numbers to make themselves sound inexpensive. They will meet with you or request photos to determine exactly how many movers, trucks, boxes, and supplies are needed.
2. The move time and total cost estimate is very accurate. Because they do not nickle and dime you for every little thing, and they do not include up-​charges, they can provide a reasonable estimate.
3.The employees are all friendly, enthusiastic, and very hard workers.
4. They are all very skilled at what they do. They are trustworthy and responsible.
5. They will show up to the right location, on time, ready to work.
6. They will work diligently to complete the job, in a timely and efficient manner.
I am so thankful that I found Noteworthy Moving Systems and have been able to depend on them for so many moves. I can refer to them or schedule them for personal or business needs with utmost confidence. They make a very stressful situation far more pleasant.

I had to move my family 3 times around the Pasadena/​South Pasadena area over the last 12 months. All the movers were not bad but none could hold a candle to Noteworthy. Showed up at 7am on the dot and we were moved into our new home by 12:30! Great job and really nice guys. On if the best moves ever.

Moving is stressful, complex and often frustrating. Picking the right moving company can make all the difference. I recently hired Noteworthy Moving Systems for my move and could not have been more pleased. The movers were professional and friendly, quickly addressing any possible concerns and packing my items carefully and efficiently. Mark, the owner, is fun and friendly and topped off the experience. I have moved a lot for work in the past five years and this has by far been the best moving company I have used. You will not be disappointed with Noteworthy.

Total disaster. Errors, damaged property, lack of professionalism, corners cut resulting in unlabeled or mislabeled boxes, fragile items buried under heavy ones, arguments among their staff in front of us. Instead of packing a large volume of our possessions, many were dumped in large bins (bipoxes about three feet long and high that couldn’t“‘t be budged once dumped in our garage with no walking space around them.)
Used Noteworthy to pack up a house and a condo and move into one house. (had used them in a previous move happily — but without packing.
And first four rounds of complaints and requests produced «blame the customer» tactics. Finally we got to the owner and, after a lengthy period of waiting, he corrected many of the problems. But now seven months later, he has failed to follow iup on an expensive damaged item.
Buyer beware!

Noteworthy lives up to its name!
We were just moved by these guys and had a really great experience. From the initial call to the last box, every step of this process was made easier by using this company.
The owner, Mark is a really friendly and upbeat guy who seems to treat his repeat or referred customers very well. We were referred to him by our landlord/​realtor and he gave us a really nice discount.
The four movers we were given were ridiculously nice and professional. The communication throughout the move helped make sure they took what was needed and moved everything exactly where we wanted it. They also finished about two hours sooner than anticipated, score!
We are planning on moving again in a year or two and will definitely be repeat customers of Noteworthy. :)

At 7AM my doorbell rang — and they inspired us to be positive from that moment on. Quickly did a walk-​thru with them to inspect the task at hand, they proceeded to pick-​up, pack-​up, and walk everything into the truck — all our household furniture, artworks, antiques and office equipment, hung our clothing in wardrobe boxes, the nicknacks, lost keys found in kitchen junk drawers, the baby crib, fridge magnets, everything.
They properly packed and labeled all items for safe transport AND the guy in charge was considerate of my human condition as were each of his crew mates. Emotions.
Really, together all of them managed the loading and unloading of all our furnishings
AND they organized the new home room for room! like consolidated our belongings
we were SO happy because they all spoke english with friendly, human skills. Smiles.
We’ve moved ourselves three times in 8 years — with our friends in tow. Last month we had to move again and I see this Noteworthy truck in Playa Del Rey — it’s white n bright n very colorful — and I call the number on the side of the truck and it’s actually the best call I’ve made in 8 years. These cool calm and collected guys took care of ALL our stuff and swiftly — stuff that needed little care, and the really, Really VPP ValuablePersonalPossessions that require SuperDuperCare SDC– also very swiftly! The supervisor said ‘We can do this for you in 8 hours’ AND they all worked together to make it happen. So, I smile as I write this. Noteworthy is an athletic moving team if there is such a league and to watch them run this was awesome. They are for real. Far more real than an evening with the Blue Man Group! Noteworthy took a rather quick lunch break and so I compensated each one for that. My good — and totally worth it! Today, we consider them our friends! So, if you’re like us and really need to hire a professional moving company, I highly recommend you give Noteworthy a call. –JMS

I had to move at the last minute recently and these guys took care of everything.
They packed up all of my belongings and furniture in just a couple of hours and moved me just a couple of towns over. They were all super friendly, fast and very respectful of my things. Considering the control freak I am, they made me feel very trusting and I was able to just relax. Overall very awesome experience. I will definitely be using these fine gentlemen when I have to move again. :)

I recently told my friend about noteworthy and advised them on using this company for there move to Stevenson Ranch. They where extremely happy with this company but the next day they noticed that there washer handle was stuck and they called the company for this to be fixed. The next day at 8.00am one of there employees named Jonny showed up and within 10 minutes the problem was fixed. Any other company would have just turned it into there insurance to rid of the problem. Thats the class difference in companys.

I’ve read the two reviews on here and don’t know what happened with them about hidden fees. I never had any new or hidden fees mentioned in either one of my moves with Noteworthy. All I can say is Noteworthy moved me and my family of 5 twice! They were so efficient the first time, it was a no brainer to use them the second time which was about a year later. I already knew the guys from before, Dave the Foreman who is so polite and thorough and funny and the rest of the crew, Med who is as nice as could be and Ken who actually came on the job twice to make sure everything was running smoothly… Which it did. Nothing got broken, they helped pack a few of my «unpacked» rooms with no problem and no complaining. I’ve had movers in the past say to me that packing isn’t part of their job… okay. so, I had a new baby and was really limited on what I could do and two young kids. these guys basically packed up what I couldn’t, moved me. put every box where it was supposed to be and didn’t break one piece of furniture! Smiling the entire time, cracking jokes remaining totally professional the whole time. They really made what could have been a very stressful experience alot easier than I ever could have thought. I have a 5 bedroom house with lots of «special» furniture from generations ago that I am very protective over. They wrapped and covered everything with such care that they knew I was nervous about and there was not one scratch on anything! I’m planning another move in about a year and I will without a doubt be using Noteworthy! You won’t be disappointed!

The gentlemen who run and work at this company are a class act. They’ve moved my family three times in the last 7 years, and our latest move was from a 4200 sq.ft. home to a 4700 sq.ft. home. The movers present well and are completely professional. My wife and I are very comfortable trusting the men from Noteworthy with our personal belongings. The guys also do an incredible job with heavy and delicate furniture. The management/​owners are fair with their rates and well worth it for the kind of jobs they do. This company is an all around pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate from using them again or recommending them to anyone in need of a moving company.

These guys did a fantastic job for our move. I spoke with Med to start things, and he was great to work with. I explained our situation, what we had to move, etc. and he walked through the process, recommended how many guys we should use, etc. Their rate is higher than others out there, but totally worth it. They helped move our aquariums and many potted plants with no problems whatsoever — and no additional charge.
The move team was great, worked efficiently and got things in and out in good time. Arrived on time and did a review of what they needed to move first, etc. Very friendly guys and respectful of your things.
Some minor things here and there, a nick, a dent, on a few things, but you know what? Those things happen and are sometimes unavoidable in a move. These guys did a better job than my last inter-​state move done by a large van line.
Next time I move, I know who to call!

Some friends used Noteworthy for their move a few weeks ago and recommended them. I can see why. Noteworthy is nothing short of fantastic.
The guys showed up on time with positive attitudes and set to work in a competent, professional manner. They were friendly, polite, and funny guys — really welcome during a very stressful day. Everything we asked for was done quickly, properly, and with a smile. They were happy to do anything we needed and offered a lot of helpful suggestions along the way.
This team works nonstop and managed to finish the entire move very efficiently, and quicker than I had hoped for. When they gave me the invoice it was clear and less than I had expected. Given the great care they took with our belongings and the overall positive experience I would consider this nothing short of a total bargain.
This is a company that understands customer service and value. Everything was clearly spelled out in advance and they delivered on their promises. I’d recommend them to anyone. I’ll use them again, that’s for sure.

Totally fantastic experience!!!
I was worried about moving, and spent days looking for a mover we wouldn’t be afraid to hire. Searched all over the internet, checked California association website to ensure licensing, looked for award recipients, used Unilocal (and yes, Angie’s List) and a bunch of other websites and reviews. Finally went to the Better Business Bureau to narrow the list of possibilities. After reading hundreds, maybe thousands of reviews, got it down to a list of three local companies and Mr. Picky made the final choice of Noteworthy — and it was a great choice!!!
Team leader Will arrived with two others exactly on time … and I mean to the minute at 0815. This young, energetic, and absolutely lovely group of men said, «No problem,» to anything that came up and had big smiles and a wonderful attitude. They never stopped, except for the occasional confab on the best way to do something. They acted experienced and within minutes I was totally at rest about the whole thing. Will, Matt and Owen were STRONG and managed to keep smiles on their faces despite an unload site where they had to push or carry everything up a LONG HILL, and then up three flights of stairs (if it didn’t fit in the small elevator). They were just incredible. They kept plugging away, nothing stopped them, and they did everything they could to make us happy. If I were you, I’d ask for this «Tremendous Trio «and specifically request Will, Matt and Owen. To give you an example of how nice the experience was … Matt asked me where I wanted all of my electronics and then powered up and connected everything, bless his heart (TV, CD player, DVR, boom-​box, video/​DVD player, clock radio, etc.).
Will ended the experience with presentation of the bill. I was inwardly cringing after reading so many horror stories, but things went just as they had all along, very well. There were no surprise charges, everything was as had been arranged when talking with Ned and Ken back in the office. We forgot our checkbook, so after such a happy experience had no qualms about a 3% charge for credit card use, fine with us!!! Noteworthy was reasonable in price (not the cheapest, or the most expensive), and we felt the service was THE BEST !!!
Next time moving? It’ll be another «Noteworthy» Event.
