P. Vernon Erwin, DDS Dr. Erwin has practiced dentistry since 1967 and is considered one of America’s foremost experts on rejuvenation dentistry. A graduate of the Loma Linda University College of Dentistry, he continued his post-​graduate education with advanced residencies in Surgery, Implants, Aesthetics, Advanced Reconstruction, Head and Jaw Pain, and Nutrition at UCLA and USC, as well as Loma Linda. Dr. Erwin also holds a Masters of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Human Nutrition from Bridgeport University and has completed additional studies in Acupuncture, Trigger Point Therapy and other complementary Biological therapies; he is also a former instructor of dentistry and basic sciences at both USC and Loma Linda.

Dr. Erwin has been a student of healthful living his whole life long. Even in his earliest years, his mother taught him Natural Hygiene principles and the dietary lifestyle that had served her own health needs since she was 18 years old. Dr. Erwin carried on the tradition by rearing his children by those same principles. He continues to maintain a healthful lifestyle and educates and encourages his clients to practice a healthy lifestyle of their choice.

A continuous student, Dr. Erwin regularly takes extensive study with national and international physicians and dentists to incorporate advances in health research and practice principles into his practice and life. He has taken numerous continuing education courses, such as Advanced Implant Dentistry and Treatment Planning, Energetic Medicine, and Complex Prosthodontics Residency

I’m pretty sure I’ve been seeing «Dr. Vern» for my whole life. My parents started taking me to his practice well before I could decide for myself. I don’t live nearby but Ive always been scared, uneasy, high strung with people working in my mouth and Dr. Vern has always been gentle, and easygoing with me. He has a calm about him that always makes my experiences at the dentist go well. Truthfully considering there are times when I’ve cried and pulled equipment out of my mouth in the mists of a full on panic attack, the fact they put up with me and with a smile is why I keep coming back.
All of my procedures throughout my life with Dr. Vern have gone without complications and he is honest, kind, calm and understanding.
If your looking for an amazing dentist look no further.

I have been going to Dr Erwin for over 35 years and I give Dr. Erwin and his staff the highest
recommendation. Dr. Erwin’s work is excellent and he takes pride in his work, as he should.
He keeps up to date on the latest technology and spares no effect in making sure the end result is to your satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Erwin to anyone.

Battling blood sugar issues for 30 years with exercise, diet and supplements, my diet was good and indulgences few. Yet, for a few years it seemed that every January I had to do a Candida cleanse for two weeks just to be able to function.
Dr. Erwin checked out my mouth and found a great polarity increasing the negative impact of the mercury fillings I had. Dr. Erwin is gracious and wise. The work he did has made a HUGE difference for me. He removed one filling and an infected tooth saying that they were of greatest importance to do first. I love that he understands my desire to do everything as naturally as possible. I plan to return soon. Even though I know he will not be doing the surgery I likely need, I trust his judgement enough to get his opinion before my next move.

I love this dental place and Dr. Erwin. I feel they really treat what is needed and don’t try to over sell services that is not needed like my last dentist. They have always been on time for me, they office neat and clean. I haven’t had cavities so my appointment have been regular check ups and teeth cleaning and I have been really happy with the way they work. Thank you guys!

Update:
After an unexpected bill ($ 300 more than anticipated, despite a breakdown of costs), I was able to come to an agreement with Dr. Erwin’s staff. Cheryl was very accommodating of my situation, and the experience was on par with my first visit there.
All staff members are truly kind. The work is excellent. You will be in very good hands. I am so happy I was able to resolve my issue.

My teeth don’t need a lot of upkeep, just the regular cleaning every 6 months. I don’t like the wait or that it’s only 4 days a week so it’s harder to get in, you literally have to schedule 6 months in advance. One time I waited 1 and a half hours cause the person the Dr was working on, his insurance was ending the next day. So I guess they play favorites here. I like their work but I don’t enjoy waiting around 20+ minutes every time.

Once again, the best experience. Dr Erwin is top-​notch and took excellent care of me. I have enamel loss and very sensitive teeth, and he still manages to make cleaning and scaling a smooth experience. He is also addressing and helping my enamel loss. His staff is professional and lovely. I love this office (if one can love their dentist!).

Dirty place. Office equipment was old cracked and filthy. You could see clumps of dusty crud on the medical equipment.
The dentist wore the same gloves when he came into my room, open the drawers, adjusted the light (which was not washed or covered), used the computer, went to another patient then came back, etc. Gross
There was no detoxification pre or post like he said on his website.
He removed my mercury fillings and replaced them with the white ones. He did not follow the special protocol like he said on the website. There were clumps of mercury in my mouth that he did not get, I did not have an oxygen mask on to avoid the vapors,
The wait time was horrible… hours!

It was evident the dentist didn’t have time for me… it was evident they didn’t care to have my business and it was evident they didn’t deem they needed my business but yet, I still get requests to come back… I get request to Unilocal them, so I did. Actually I wouldn’t have Unilocaled this but they asked me too. so what is a person to do? They are arrogant and it was quite obvious, they didn’t care about ME! But now they are crazy enough to keep sending come back emails… wonder why? Got business? Oh yes, they must have had a bad day huh?

I thought I would have trouble finding another wholistic, non-​toxic dentist in the same neighborhood after I stopped seeing Dr. Sarkissian, but was pleasantly surprised to find this office. Everything I have experienced with them has been great, and I am keeping Dr. Erwin. The receptionist was very competent and concerned. My initial intake exam/​assessment was very thorough. I appreciate the digital X-​Rays which show up right on the computer monitor after they are done. My hygienist is very thorough and gentle, and Dr. Erwin keeps up not just with dentistry, but with complimentary, non-​toxic technology. He even knows about trigger points!

New city, new dentist. I’m very pleased with my selection! First of all, the murals in the exam rooms on the walls are really cute and fun to look at, very relaxing. Good mags in the waiting room. And the «Book of Who’s Who» featuring the Dr. himself!
Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, the equipment was high-tech…loved seeing the exray on a computer screen instantly! Dr. Erwin is everything I wanted in a dentist. He talked to me about my overall mouth health and together are planning the best way for me to be at my best possible oral health.
My cleaning with Theresa the hygenist today was equally notable in the best way!
Highly recommended!
