I buy craftsman for 90% of my tool needs and they have what I need. And they had the particular a/​c unit I wanted. Score!
I was assisted by a really friendly and helpful woman. She was great.
The rest of the store was remarkably neat and clean, in good order. A far cry from the state they used to be in.
My needs from Sears are few but they have what I need.

I bring my watch to the watch repair guy for battery replacement. He charges $ 9 compared to the guy in the Glendale Galleria that charges $ 56! For the same battery! Crazy! Anyway, the guy at Sears is great but you never know when he’ll be there or not. Once I waited 45 minutes because he’d left a note saying he’d be back in 10 minutes. Finally I left. He’s cheap but very inconsistent in his work.

They sell you a stacking washer and dryer without the stacking kit — so after waiting two months I have to jump through 15 hoops to get the info to order the part the idiot sales person should have included in the first place. Does Sears help mor care? NO — I am cancelling 4k in appliance purchases with them now.

Literally only wanted to make a payment. I waited at each register for 30 min and no one was there. Finally got someone’s attention and now I’m waiting another 30 min for him to get a manager. Ridiculous.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Asked for a price check, woman at the register was rude as hell, couldn’t bother to move a pinky to help or answer basic questions. Ran up from 3^rd floor to second like a wild goose chase. Ridiculous experience.

Do not buy their microwaves. They fail every 2 years like clockwork. Buying the extended warranty wont help since they fail the day after it expires.
2 Microwaves, 2 years each, not buying another.
They should offer a rental plan, it would be more honest.

My BF and I got a great experience buying our washer and dryer with Sears. First, the prices are competitive for good brands. They may not have a lot of Sales Associate but the one we got named Antuan Chaparian was very helpful. He went to all details and was very patient to answer our hard inquiries. They also have a lot of different financial programs fit for everyone. Now, we are excited to get our new washer and dryer deliver…

The appliances are not great.
I bought a brand new stove and thy sent a contractor to repair it after it was delivered inoperable and they knew nothing on how to fix it.
Poor Service.

Don’t buy from this store! I went to buy and washer and dryer and the sales person Bruce sold me the wrong color. It was delivered to my place and was irratated they messed up. Call him and told him that it was the wrong color and he told me i had to call delivery service and tell them i want to change it. He was no help at all and didnt take responsibility for his mistake.

A good friend of mine was really screwed by this Sears. Their installers caused her to go without hot water for six days! The installers also failed to show up several times. I am writing this review for her, since I have a Unilocal account. After hearing of her experience, I feel I can never trust this Sears with my business.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! This location is unbelievably in business. I came in looking for a new water filter for fridge which i purchased here. To make things easier, i brought my old filter that way i can show them exactly what im looking for. So as im approaching the department area i noticed one salesmen busy and looked around for another. I asked this other salesmen who said he was on the phone and can not help me at the moment. I understood… So i continued to wander around for help and while doing that this other salesmen was ringing up a customer. Im trying to discreetly get eye contact but he purposely avoids looking at me. So i wander around more and finally i asked the 2^nd salesmen i saw where i can get replacement filters. He directs me. And leaves me there to figure it out. Ok fine… I try to look for it myself and had no idea which is the one i needed. Model numbers did not match mine at all. So i really needed assistance. After another 10 minutes, i decided to grab a filter and bring it to cashier and maybe then somebody can help me if infact it was the wrong one. Bottom line is, they told me they dont hv this model and handed me a card to call and order. Yeah ok. Nobody in this store is customer service friendly. This location is horrible.

Great place to shop! Love the items and the envirenment. I go here all the time with my boyfriend and we enjoy shooing here.

Still the same great store I grew up with. I see complaints about clothes and merchandise thrown all over the place it’s probably unruly customers like all the complainers.

This rating is for the pick up service.
I bought some towels on sale from Kmart but they shipped it to the Glendale Sears (fine with me!) with no charge for shipping.
I happened to see something else on sale (Sears) so I ordered that as well, for pickup.
The pick up area is very easy to access (and easy right turn into the parking lot from North Central) with adequate parking next to the pick up place.
I had printed out the email I’d received and before I could even figure out how to scan the upc codes on the emails someone came out, took the emails and said he’d be right back. The sign says ‘5 minutes or less’…it was less.
I had had some reservations about doing a pick-​up (I was afraid it would be inside, like in other stores) but it was so easy I’ll pay more attention to the online sales which offer free shipping to local store.
The towels were well worth the original price and the sales price made them almost a steal…
the other item was a Craftsman collection of drill bits and screwdriver bits. Drills become dull so having a good set of new drill bits is an investment much easier DIY and having the sizes I need when I need them.
So if you see something for sale and it can be delivered to the Glendale store, go for it.

I would like Management or Head Office of Sears to please write back to me to explain why I and another potential customer were not able to walk into the store 25 minutes prior to closing. It was like as if the store had closed at 8pm rather than 9pm. I had called prior to coming and listened to the store hours and also upon arrival the hours are placed on the doors even say Sunday’s closing time is 900pm. It was such an inconvenience to me. Its very upsetting to me when you have your heart set on purchasing an item you really needed, yet I had checked by calling and looking up the store hours but received misleading info. I would really like to get feedback on this please and if it’s a good enough reason I will not continue. Who handles Thea technical issues at Sears. Changing the time on line/​website and maybe posting up temporary hours on the doors would be more convenient and less of a hassle for us.

…and that was the last straw… I’m done with Sears… good bye and hope you go out of business soon… I hate seeing this American icon I grew up with in so much pain.

Next…rude rude rude Merchandize pick people. the guy there (I won’t mention his name) who claimed to be the manager actually walked away from me because he disagreed with me on being able to return a bicycle. Called the hardware/​sports dept mgr myself and she came over and solved it.
I have been rooting for Sears and was supporting it… for almost a year now… despite previous screw-​ups. Now I’m done.
I can go into details… but i’m not wasting my time and finger tips…

I’m not usually a Sears shopper but I was in the market for a new mattress and of all the sites online, they were without doubt, the cheapest!
I scored a $ 2,100 Serta Perfect Sleeper Galena Firm II King Mattress mattress for… ready for this…$$ 807!!! With the mattress sale they had going on and the additional discounts online, I saved nearly 60%
This 5 star review is for my mattress, the service although I’d rate a 2. Before making my purchase, I went in to feel some out and get an idea os to what type/​brand I’d be looking for. I was greeted by Naieri Malakian who I told I was «just looking». She showed me a couple mattresses and explained all the differences and when it appeared I made a choice, she proceeded to ring it up and set up delivery. I was like, «uuuuuh, I said I was just looking». What an attitude I was given right there.
A week later I go in to make the purchase since the website wasn’t allowing me to purchase just the mattress, but the box spring as well. Same associate took care of me only this time, she was quoting me about $ 150 more! Obviously, not taking into account the additional discount available online. I understand these sharks work on commission, but honey, don’t try and screw me. I clearly scoured the net before coming in.

I can no believe how rude and nasty the vacuum dept was. Even the manager Carl was so nasty.
I will never buy anything from that store again .
No wonder Sears is going down.

Sears workers are all the same.
Rude, confused, and unhelpful! I don’t know why they don’t hire better workers. I got yelled at once for lifting up a Mens shirt for my boyfriend to see sizing and color and texture of the shirt, one of the workers that runs that area said «you can’t take the shirts off of the packaging» and I told her «this shirt was like this when I came here» and she rolled her eyes and thought I was disturbing her repetitive, boring job.
So sorry that you don’t know what is what in your territory and which shirts are out of place, I’m just trying to see what the shirt likes as it is! I really don’t have time to take the packaging apart and have you yell at me for it.
Stuck up, bitter people!

This sears suffers from the unfortunate aesthetic decision of the original builders. Who wants to shop in a cement monolith with all the appeal of a high security prison? Not I. And yet I return over and over to purchase my large appliances. The prices are right, the employees attentive, and delivery is usually free. Oh, and like Target, if you pay with your sears card you get 5% off.
While I wander through the stoves & fridges, I can’t help but notice the other things for sale on the bottom floor. Hundreds of super thin TVs, hot pink tool chests, the nicest looking outdoor grills I’ve seen anywhere, tool totes I’d be proud to carry around, and on and on. Sears is actually pretty cool for a homeowner, and the customer service is much better than Lowes or Home Depot.
On the other hand I very much doubt I’d shop for clothes here. I hate to be a snob but Kardashian isn’t my style.
There’s a big free parking lot right next door.
So check it out! You might be pleasantly surprised.
