T and G Roofing is a family owned roofing company. We specialize in all types of roofing including the new SINGLE PLY ROOFING SYSTEM, a new roofing material for flat roofs. It lasts up to 40 years. It is comparable in price to hot tar without the mess, smell or danger in application. It is comprised of rubber and plastics and is heat welded to create a water tight system. It is highly reflective which can significantly reduce energy costs.

In addition to our exciting new single ply installations, we are also proficient with all other roofing applications. We provide quality service at reasonable rates to both business and home owners. We care about our customers and do the job right the first time.

Established in 1996.

After working for others in the roofing industry for more than 12 years, Tommy Shcerer established T & G Roofing in 1996. His goal was to provide quality work while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Over the years T & G Roofing has become a leader in the roofing industry. Our dedication to our customers is only matched by our dedication to keeping informed on the newest and best materials available.

Before the contract was signed, they were pretty slow at responding to emails and calls, I’m guessing because El Nino was coming. Winnie and Sharon were easy to work with and very friendly.
Once the contract was signed, Mark (I think he was the foreman?) was extremely great to work with. He showed up each day, got his men to work hard, and kept the communication open. This was the first contractor I’ve worked with where I did not have to call and bug everyday. He’d call or text me and keep me updated! Unheard of! Overall, they finished a 6k sq feet building in 3 days and cleaned up well.
Price wise, they are pretty fair. I went with them because of the fair price and because I like supporting smaller businesses rather than corporations.
Hope I don’t have to see them again unless it’s at another job! This TPO roof should last me 20 – 40 years!

I am writing this SPECIFICALLY to counter the one bad review. I recommended Tommy to a friend with a flat roof. Flat roofs are tough. T & G did a great job and my friend was very happy. About a year ago, I had them use the same product on my house. They did a great job.
Sometimes you get «bad vibes» from potential customers: that’s the only reason I can think of to ignore new business.

Tommy Scherer and crew are top notch. This is the second time I’ve contracted with them to replace a roof. They were on time, efficient, answered questions, and kept a tidy job site. I compared with other roofers and T & G Roofing was very competitive and backed their work
up with a warranty. Excellent value.
If I had a question and Tommy wasn’t available, his office staff were on top of things. I would easily recommend T & G Roofing, and if I need a roof replaced would go to them again.

I’m so happy I got to use T & G roofing as my roofers. I found them by using my 1st time home buyers insurance and I’m glad they were the ones that came.
They were there for me and were EXTREMELY helpful through out the entire roofing process. They were so professional and prompt with all their appointments. I absolutely love Sharon, she has been the main person I have dealt with and she is really good at what shes does. She’s on top of everything, you feel safe trusting her with such a tough situation. They were also very knowledgeable about the type of roof that we have. They know what they are doing and are very good at it.

These guys came out to look at our roof at our condo association. They sound intelligent and actually quoted a reasonable price. Well, when I asked for it in print, T & G Roofing completely disappeared off of the face of the earth – wouldn’t return maybe 5 phone calls. Plus, their office help appears to be part time. I would recommend you stay away from T & G Roofing – They’re a HUGE waste of time if you’re trying to get something done within this century.
