Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center

I used to shop here all the time. I like to support this type of facility in our community. The last time I went in, I parked my bicycle in an empty, unused corner for security of my bicycle. I have been doing this for years. This time I was informed it was a hazard and I would have to leave. This is the only business in the area that I’ve had this happen. There must be a new or temporary manager without knowledge of the real world. There is no secured parking area for bicycles. My last time shopping here; their loss.

I’m a regular at this Goodwill store, staff is always friendly and helpful. If you have time to look around it is worth the effort and money you’ll save with your finds. Large store and always neat. Only thing they can use is shopping carts.

The staff here are professional, upbeat, and helpful! They have a nice selection of housewares but a limited selection of toys and games. These are the things I usually shop for. I’ll be back for another pretty vase some day :)

The staff is very nice and friendly. I am a regular there and they always welcome me back with a smile. I usually find great finds if I can find them. So i usually check every week to find something new. Everything I in great price, nothing really to argue about.
I love the slight new design, it looks more open and every thing is easier to find.
I have recommend this to my grand father and my family and they also found some great finds.

The best Goodwill for books and kids clothes. It’s very clean, has great customer service and the parking lot gives you a beautiful view of the San Gabriel Mountains. I highly recommend this location.

I like this one, I used to go to the one in Pomona but it burned. The prices still aren’t great…$ 3.99 for a used shirt but I can go to Target and buy a new one for the same price or lower. But the people are nice and it’s pretty clean.

I have been into this Goodwill location a couple times. When I go to thrift stores I mostly look at housewares and furniture I can DIY.
I have found some good finds here. Other times have been total misses but that’s the nature of thrift store shopping. A few years ago I found a great wooden chest of drawers. I believe it was at most $ 15. It was a rather revolting color and had outdated hardware. I sanded and painted it and it’s now a gorgeous pink dresser with glass door knob inspired hardware. When I tell people I up cycled it from a thrift store piece they always tell me they would have expected it to cost at least $ 200. They also generally ask if I will come thrift store shopping with them. Haha
The color tag system is a way for them to guarantee they are moving inventory through the store. For example, one week all the new inventory will get tagged white. Then the next week is yellow. Now all the red inventory will be 50% off with white and yellow being the newest. The next week all new inventory will be tagged red. And in a couple more weeks the white inventory will be 50%.
You can pay in full and get a little more time if you need someone with a truck to come help you.
The workers are all so friendly and helpful!

One of the cleanest and spacious Goodwills you will ever step into and because its in a pretty good community you will find alot of quality items here. Bough a couple of Calvin Klein t shirts and some nice fitted Lane Bryant jeans.

Lots of pianos here, the majority of them are out of tune but one was in ok condition, the rest needs a lot of care. Large and organized selection of clothes in good quality here, the «thrift store smell» here isn’t as strong as other places. Good selection of books and vinyl here.
I actually did find harry potter used books 3 – 7 here but they were so water damaged it wasn’t worth it; they were pretty damp and smelled like mildew.

I’m a thrift store junkie this is by far one of my favorite thrift stores in the area. The store is clean organized the staff is friendly prices are clearly marked and honestly name brand designer stuff sneaks out into the racks constantly from 24k gold watches priced at 9.99 to real Lou boution heels to Lois vuitton luggage not kidding the book selection is amazing tons of dvds the record selection sucks but that’s only because I’m here building my collection. Well get in here check it out and I’d like to thank the staff again you guys are always doing a great job.

This is a HUGE GW with tons of merchandise. Most of it looks like it comes from older people, which is very good, if you know what I mean.
It is well lit, very well organized, and a decent selection of furniture most of the time, which most GWs do not have.
Its a strange location right near the RR tracks off Foothill and Grand.
My only complaint is, some of the men’s racks of shirts are so high they are hard to reach and makes my arm sore when I look through them. That makes me tired and then I don’t look as hard as I would like to.
There is a large book section, but the prices on those, frankly could be lower. I don’t need to pay 3.50 for a used book from 1982, really.

A very large and well apportioned Goodwill. For a Goodwill this size, I was surprised about how sparse their jewelry and fine goods section looked. However, considering what else they had, this is just a technicality.
Men’s selection is basic, nothing that intrigued me. Goodwill always has a crazy selection of patterned dress shirts, but whatever happened to light blue and white.
Happened to find a notably ugly Christmas sweater with light foil Christmas trees projecting where the breasts are, with ugly bows and felt shapes festooning everywhere else…
Why did Lear escape into the storm with a fool? Why did Oedipus gouge his eyes? Even Medusa would turn to stone if she had a glance at this sweater. Yours for just under $ 12.
On a lighter note, their selection of LPs is nice– they had in my estimation about 600. Dig around and you’re bound to find something good.

Well organized, clean, good customer service. Prices? Ridiculous, if you are in need of some laughing, visit and you will have fun trying to understand the guidelines the staff uses to price items. Second hand is not new, meaning must be at Least Half price of retail price IF the item is in PERFECT condition.

It’s in walking distance for me, so I love that!

There are dressing rooms available for both men and women. And occasionally nice pieces of furniture!

Was really unhappy with the fact that such a large store only had hand baskets. Walked in, and walked right back out because there is no way I’m browsing with a toddler and no push cart.

I will say that I have found a handful of great deals here and the employees are friendly, which is why I have given this Goodwill 2 stars. Despite a great find here and there, a majority of the items are overpriced so it requires some luck and patience to find a true bargain.
They really need to wash their clothes before selling them– I have seen quite a few garments for sale here in absolutely disgusting, filthy (not to mention stinky) condition. If you dare to try anything on, the fitting rooms are often full and the wait can sometimes be pretty long due to customers trying on like 30 items. Also, you have to hunt down an employee to unlock a fitting room for you and the rooms are always full of left behind clothes. It seems like they are understaffed.
My last complaint might seem petty but oh well: I once shopped here listening to a young child pound on a piano here for a good 15 minutes. I wouldn’t have had a problem with it had it not been for the child’s abuse of the instrument. He was jumping on the pedals, slamming his fists into the keys, and repeatedly slamming the piano’s lid. I was really disappointed that none of the workers put a stop to it because he could have damaged the piano and brought its value down (although I am sure that wouldn’t result in price drop). Someone donated that piano rather than sell it and it is a shame that no one apparently gave a crap.

I shop a lot at Goodwill – ie, 75% of my closet comes from there.
This place is probably the best Goodwill I’ve ever visited for the following reasons:
1) customer service is excellent. People actually come up to you to ask if you want a room.
2) lots of new clothes (with tags still on). Nordstrom brands galore.
3) lots and lots of women’s clothes (at least 25% more than what I usually see)
4) located in a non-​skeezy neighborhood.
I’ll be back when their furniture isn’t all cleared out. Found some gorgeous housewares as well.

You would think you were in Beverly Hills by their response.
So forgit about your Beverly Hills snooty head trip…

Big, clean, fun to shop at.
Also they have great hours, yes you can even thrift on a Sunday!!!
You can pay with a debit card as well, EGADS!!!
I love thrift shopping, it’s like a treasure hunt, it’s kind to your wallet and GREAT for the enviroment.

Came here yesterday as I have been on the thrift shop hunt and I really liked this store because the store is nice and big, has a nice layout and it was clean and well organized.
This store didn’t have that typical thrift store smell either.
Ladies restroom was nice and clean (you have to ask for a key up in the front and someone will open it for you).
For their weekly special: Every Saturday a new colored tag will be half price. Current tag that is half off right now is purple colored tags.
Every Wednesday other items are at a lower price (tops, jeans, etc.)
Items are reasonably priced.
Plenty of parking in the lot.
Look forward to coming back next week to see which color tag is on sale and browse around.
