I came here for an estimate because of the great reviews and I was not in any way disappointed. Their estimate was reasonable; I got two others for comparison. They explained everything clearly, gave me a ride to and from my house to the Body Shop and got the work done (rear bumper replacement) in 1 – 2 days (when they said they would). Best of all they were really friendly. It has the feeling of a family-​owned business in which the owners and staff really care about giving their customers excellent service.

Living in Glendora for the past 11 years or so, When speaking with locals etc., any time the topic of «Auto Paint and Body» has come up, the name J&S has always been mentioned. And, they always seem to be referred to as the «go to» spot. Recently, I found out why. These guys are TOP NOTCH. A month ago, I took my 2012 Shelby in for a rear bumper swap/​install which included prepping and painting of the new piece. The results were AWESOME. Not only was their attention to detail obvious, it was done in the time they quoted and at the price they quoted. No surprises. It was an easy call to make when I decided to swap my front upper/​lower grills out a few weeks later– And yes, they delivered with more quality work. Anthony is the guy you want to talk to. He’s very knowledgeable and was patient with ALL of my questions. I’ll definitely be going back if I need anything else done and will gladly recommend them to anyone.

Just picked up my car and was very pleased with their work. Of three quotes, they were the cheapest. But the body work and paint could not be better! This is the second time I’ve used them; once a few years ago. They even touched up a couple scratches that weren’t part of the original accident. Highly recommended!

In April, I got into my first car accident — on the freeway! My lane had come to an abrupt stop and the lady behind me (I believe she was texting) didn’t notice and slammed into the back of my car at high speed. Thank goodness everyone was ok. My car on the other hand… :(
I had my car towed to J & S. Not only are they within walking distance of my house, but they had nothing but the greatest of Unilocal reviews. I was about to find out why.
From the moment my car arrived at J & S, the customer service I received was remarkable. I was pretty shaken up about the whole thing and at 26 had never had to go through an insurance claim. Anthony was wonderful. He explained the entire process to me, humored my myriad of questions, and even talked me through what would be the best course of action with the two insurance companies.
As it turns out, the lady who hit me had given false insurance information. She was actually uninsured at the time. I spoke to Anthony about this and he calmly reassured me that he could change the way the claim was process through my insurance company. (thank god I had uninsured motorist coverage!)
I was without my car for a month, but as the expected date of completion approached, I got a little anxious and stopped in about a week before the date he had originally told me my car would be finished. He was happy to see me and shared that he was actually going to surprise me the next day with a phone call that my car would be done early! He showed me the progress and let me know he’d give me a phone call tomorrow to let me know exactly when I could come in. I got my car back — after about $ 8k worth of repairs! — and it looked great and ran perfectly!
So so so helpful and friendly. J & S made the absolute best out of what was otherwise a horrible experience! Thank you!

Okay these guys are simple the best out there. I have been to many shops in my day and my wife inspects businesses and this is the cleanest shop around.
There work is superb, and after my wife crashed in 2010 she cried because her truck was only 3 weeks old «it will never be the same… you will always see the difference, always, always, always !!!». I told her «if we go to the right place you wont see the difference before and after the accident». I was some what wrong because the paint job they blended in so well, but the front part of the truck is like glass as apposed to the slight orange peel the factory gives you ! Awesome guys !!! Metallic is so hard to do right but they nailed the color matching
They stand behind there work when mine needed a touchup and they don’t hesitate at all to redo something until its perfect.
I feel comfortable about recommending this shop because I get the idea its not all about the money, they really seem to take pride in their work.

Honest and autobody shop do not often go hand in hand. But the same cannot be said of J&S, a truly family-​oriented and accommodating shop of over 40 years that has an equal commitment to customer service as they do true craftsmanship.
A bit of backstory. I was in a fairly traumatic accident on the 210 freeway. I was sideswiped by a hit and run driver, who proceeded to drive away. Sadly, the entire right side of my car was destroyed (without being totaled), including the paint, body and my front fender. My insurance was horrific to work with, holding up any uninsured motorist coverage until the police investigation was complete. In the meantime, I had a completely undriveable car. Extremely upsetting situation.
First thing was that Carla in the front office was an angel to work with. She was patient, kind and worked seamlessly with my insurance company in order to proces the paperwork and get the body work initiated while my case was in limbo. Everyone in the front office was amazing about answering all my questions and explaining where everything stood.
The bodywork itself was nothing short of miraculous. Everything from the details to the paint job was so beautiful, you would never know the vehicle had been in an accident. John and his crew are total masters. I would be happy to return to J&S for future dents, dings or touch ups, and cannot recommend this shop enough for enyone looking for great body work on their vihecle.

I was in a minor car accident and needed some body repair. The people at J and S were friendly and easy to work with. They did a great job on my car and returned it to me clean and within the estimated time frame. They did the work for the exact amount of the estimate and even picked me up so I didn’t have to arrange for a ride. I highly recommend them!

J&S Auto Body has repaired my SUV 3 times for bodywork after an accident. Detailed written estimates are free!
When I was unable to drive, they picked up my car from my house and returned it to me. The work was done in a very reasonable amount of time and it was superb! This time I was able to drop my car off but since I did not have a car they came and picked me up and took me to the bank so I could get a cashier’s check for my deductible and then took me to their company even though by then it was after hours. Anthony took the time to go over my claim and also to go over the car with me when I picked it up.
I love knowing that the car is secure and protected overnight and that the employees are honest. I’ve never had anything taken from my car and I will always have J & S do all my body work in the future!

I took my car here for a free estimate. Anthony took a look at it, despite it being the end of their work day, and walked me through the whole process making sure to explain everything that I needed to know. He answered any and all questions that I had clearly and was very straightforward and honest about everything. Furthermore, he was prompt with answers whenever I had questions — whenever I emailed him, he usually responded within a few hours. He also helped me find a car rental company that fit my budget and needs.
The prices here are fair and the service is prompt and excellent. Anthony is a personable guy who goes above and beyond to get you the results you need.

Had the 2^nd occasion to have my bumper fixed at J&S (was actually thrilled when I learned the insurer of the guy that rear-​ended me used J&S so I could take my car there). SAME excellent courteous service. Car delivered when promised, even arranged to take my rental back to Enterprise for me so I didn’t have that hassle when picking my car up. Reasonable prices, excellent work!

I would give this company more stars if I could.
After an accident, I took my car to J&S because they were recommended by my local repair shop. J&S not only did a Great Job, they were a dream to work with. They went the extra mile for me with the Insurance company making sure that everything was fixed.

First of all I want to THANK YOU J and S Auto Body for doing an excellent job. Now I know why State Farm ranked them Second in the nation for body work.
I am 23 and I ripped my door almost completely off backing out of my drive way :(. This was the first time I have ever made a claim to my insurance and didn’t really know the procedure. My insurance people told me they would cover for a rental car. I figured I was responsible to get to the car rental place after I dropped the car off and J and S but with a few phone calls Carla, the office manager, got the rental car company to pick me up saving me a six mile bike ride. :)
When I picked up the car, it was fully detailed, paints matched, and all the damage (inside and out) looked completely original. There were after market wood panels on the inside of my door that they managed to save from the old and put onto the new to match again. Extra stuff like that in paying attention to details really impressed me.
I drove it for a week to see if there were any rattles, NONE. The only thing I noticed different was my trailer hitch wire was in a different place, visible on the outside. When I took it back, my car had top priority and it only took five minutes for them to change it. Thanks again! I would recommend you guys to anyone and convince family members who live out of town that its worth the drive to get body work at J and S Auto Body. Thanks again.
