Hill Imaging Center

Honestly the office staff, technicians and management couldn’t be any better. Often times, visiting different medical facilities, you come across different types of office staff and in my experience they tend not to be the nicest people as they just have one job to do.
However, when it comes to Glendora Hill Imaging Center I can truly say the entire staff from first greeting to technicians and management that this facility is the kindest and most professionally rich in its class.
I was treated with the utmost respect.
I will continue to choose their facility to have my treatments done!

When it comes to medical facilities, just getting the job done right deserves 5 stars. I don’t even care about them going above and beyond because I NEVER had a smooth transaction at any of the medical facilities I’ve visited. Either the wait times were too long, staff members were rude, received incorrect diagnosis, or had problems with billing. This place got everything right the first time. I was able to speak with someone when I wanted, got the appointment date I wanted, was checked in at my appointment time, and received my CT scan at the time I was promised. I even got to view my results online two business days after my scan. It was also easy to find, and parking was a breeze.
Staff members were all pleasant and seemed content. I like the fact this place always has someone that answers the phone. There isn’t a lunch gap where you can’t get a hold of anyone like at other medical facilities. This was probably the biggest determining factor for me in choosing this facility over others. The other two locations also quoted me $ 100 more than this facility for the same CT screening.
Facility is clean and has a nice modern décor.
Appointments are required for all services except for x-​rays, but I would still recommend getting one.
I don’t want to become a regular here, but if I have to get any other screenings done in the future, I would definitely come back here.

Website states that they are open until 6:30. I got there at 5:40 and was denied service even though the waiting room still had patience.
Unfriendly and unhefull. Avoid this place.

Employees, from the receptionists to the techs, are always very professional, kind and happy. Wait times vary, but have always been reasonable. When given a choice, I will always choose hill over CDI

Can’t help but be nervous. Machines searching the inside of my body. Well it’s a early morning appointment. Glad I came early, because I was first in and first out.
The receptionists were friendly, helpful and informative. Slowly after I had arrived then people began to pour into this place.
It is s very clean place inside of a three story building next to Glendora Hospital.
Monica who did my ultrasound was an absolute angel. Thank you Monica for relaxing my nerves.

I have frequented the Hill Imaging Center several times and have always found the front desk staff along with the techs to be extremely friendly, informative, and helpful. Last week I went in for a mammogram and ultrasound (my first ever), and was treated with excellent care. Nicole and Yvette were both so caring and skilled that the «scary» tests were not scary at all. They really changed the way I felt about getting a mammogram. Thank you, ladies. I was so pleased that I asked to speak to the Office Manger, Reyna, who was just as gracious and kind. Overall, I had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to write my first review on Unilocal.For those of you who have not been to this center and are uneasy about your first visit, you’re in great hands.

I’ve had two ultrasounds done here and they are great. The ladies who work at the front desk are super friendly and helpful. Always there to answer my questions. The techs are equally professional and prompt. They’re great about requesting copies and getting them out to you quickly.

Front Office Staff: Friendly and relatively efficient, but visibly and audibly talking about personal issues at the front desk while patients were in the waiting area.
Radiology Technician: No greeting, did not identify herself and not very friendly. I was simply directed to the assume a position on the x-​ray table and. I have never had an x-​ray without being offered a lead apron. I was waiting for one to be placed on me and before I knew it, she had taken the first view. I questioned being unduly exposing the rest of my body to radiation and was informed I was only exposed to «scattered radiation.» I asked for a lead apron and was reluctantly given one.
Waiting Area: Clean and modern, but with a foul mold-​like odor from the minute you walk in the door.
Parking: Convenient, easy access and free open parking lot.
Ease of Scheduling: Fully open
I will not be back to this facility nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I came in for a mammogram and the staff was very nice and friendly. And I mean everyone, from the registration clerk to the technician. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm-​works for me!

There has been a woman at the counter on her cell for 30 minutes trying to get straight her mammogram. Apparently the only thing that works here is being a NAG
**UPDATE** After waiting 30 min for my 1^st appointment of 3 I was informed my 2:00 appointment had been given away without notice. Needless to say I was annoyed! However the clerk at the front desk found a tech and asked them to get me in. The techs and front desk were so helpful and great. Things went very smooth and I was done and on my way within the hour.

I came in for an MRI. I scheduled it fairly early in the morning and was greeted by an empty parking lot.
As a note for those in crutches or having issues getting around, all the signage for Hill is towards the side by the Glendora hospital sign. However, the office is actually in the back, so park on the other side of the building. If you don’t, you can’t even park in front of the building since it’s all handicap parking only and it might be tiring to do this.
The staff is super friendly, super sweet. Clean facilities, short wait times, locker rooms /​changing area in the back. They play your favorite tunes on Pandora into headphones while you’re in the MRI.
They actually gave me a thank you card with everyone’s information (MRI tech, front desk) and contact information of management if I need to talk to anyone.
Would definitely come back (but hopefully I won’t have to).

I brought My mom here during the week to get her mammogram and bone density test done, from the moment you walk in to the time you leave, the staff makes you feel very comfortable. I haven’t had either but I will soon (preventative maintenance) and I can tell you the staff really goes out of their way to make you feel at ease with the whole process. I have Kaiser, but if I didn’t I would ask to be seen here.

I recently came to Hill Imaging for a MRI. All of the workers I spoke with were very helpful and completely kept me calm.
The facilities are very modern & clean. There is a private locker area where you can store you things and take the key with you.
I felt very anxious about wearing non-​metal clothing as I was coming from work. I brought extra clothes and changed into them in the bathroom, but I wish someone had told me I could have just changed in one of the private locker rooms after being called out of the lobby.
The attendant explained the whole process to me and made sure I was comfortable before starting the 20 minute long process of holding still.
In the past I have had an MRI (ages ago) on my leg. For that they wanted multiple angles so I could move every once in a while. For this time, it was of my head so it was just a solid 20 minutes of holding still.
I didn’t even realize the best part of Hill Imaging was that they put your images online. I called to make sure my neurologist has gotten them from my primary care doctor, and they told me all they could log into the system and get the images. I didn’t need to do anything. Especially great when you are not feeling well & just need to check out.
I would definitely recommend Hill Imaging to someone if they need they’re services-​especially if they are nervous about it.

What a huge waste of an afternoon. I waited for a long time for a simple X-​ray and was greeted by an X-​ray tech that could barely speak English. She had a hard time understanding the doctors instructions for a simple X-​ray and insisted in wasting more time by calling his office for a clarification instead of doing what was obvious. I waited for a while longer then collected my paperwork and walked out. I will never go back there again.

Place sucks, been waiting over an hour for an xray! They do everything on appt bases why not the xray!
It was said to me by receptionist it’s such a short exam this why we don’t do appptments. Nothing short about waiting over an hour!

Great facility, great staff. I went in for an MRI with contrast. I’m very nervous about getting shots, and Raymond was so patient and understanding! The MRI was quick and expertly handled.

I have always had a good experience here over the years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and convenient. Whether an xray, MRI or mammogram this is a good location. Walk ins welcome, should you not wish to wait appointments are recommended.

I used HIC for an ultrasound and the staff was friendly, efficient and thorough in the whole process, and the facility is clean!

Came here for an ultra sound and the receptionist was super friendly. She went above and beyond to help me schedule an appointment with their other facility. The technician was also very friendly, and even gave me a thank you card :}

Asked if my catscan was covered under my insurance and they said yes, a week or so goes by and i get a bill in the mail for $ 330.
Called and complained which didnt get me anywhere.
If you ask if its covered here, make sure you ask if its fully covered.
