Pawley Orthodontics

Dr. Pawley and his staff are wonderful, very kind and patient with my daughter this is her second set of braces! We originally went to a different «orthodontist» that was actually a general dentist. We know this now… My daughter was very upset when her teeth started to shift after wearing braces for 2 ½ years but we knew she had to go through it again and I knew She couldn’t go back to the same place where she got her first set so we had to find another orthodontist. We met Dr. Pawley for a consultation and we knew that with his staff we would have the best results possible and thats what we wanted so a week latter she started her treatment. We are very pleased with the care she has received from Dr. Pawley and his staff. From the second you walk in you can feel the warmth of the staff. My daughters goal was to have them off before her senior prom and she will have them off in 2 weeks and she is very happy to know she will not have the for prom or her graduation. Thank you Dr. Pawley and team for making things «perfect»!!!

Dr. Pawley and the staff at this office have worked with all three of my kids as well as my wife and I (since we didn’t wear our retainers like we were supposed to as kids) and I have been impressed throughout all of the time we have been with them. First, they quote a rate and even if it takes longer I have not seen any additional charges. It took some of us over a year longer than expected which means multiple additional visits and effort at no charge. Further, they financed the amount with zero interest allowing for affordable payments. Lastly, and most impressive, is the integrity of this Doctor and this office. They strive for the highest level of success even if that means additional investment on their part. The art of fine tuning the final process is clearly complicated and I would suspect that many other offices would cut this part short or out. The staff is by and far one of the friendliest and most competent staff’s I have worked with. When a problem occurred (typically due to one of us breaking something) they were always available after hours to provide a quick resolution. All and all I couldn’t recommend this doctor and this office highly enough. Thank you for great experiences during a typically non enjoyable process.

I’m 52 years old and just completed my treatment with Dr. Pawley. To say I’m ecstatic with my experience would be an understatement. Dr. Pawley and his staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I’ve developed a deep respect for this office and recommend them to everyone I talk to.

I was referred to Dr. Pawley a few years back. I came in for a free consultation where the whole process was explained to me in clear terms. Shortly after I had my braces put on. After having my braces removed about 2 years later, I was extremely pleased with the results. I used to have a crooked smile due to my bite which I was self-​continuous about and he aligned it perfectly!
I found his entire staff to be very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Pawley for your orthodontic needs. I’ve been saying for awhile he is the «Nordstrom» of orthodontics. As you may know, Nordstrom stores pride themselves on excellent service and high quality goods.

LOVE Dr. Pawley and his staff! So friendly and they are making our kids even more gorgeous, with beautiful smiles!!! Why go anywhere else? The best!

Just took my son to Dr. Pawley to finally get his braces! Once again, very impressed and love Dr. Pawley and his staff. I’ve been to many places where the Dr./ Ortho is great and the staff are not so great, not so at this office! My son actually told me he liked everyone there and felt very comfortable. I’m very shocked to see the one negative review of his staff, Karen was exceptional with me and my son! Highly recommend Dr. Pawley, his staff is awesome!

The best medical professional I have ever seen! Dr. Pawley is charismatic, professional and will leave you with a better smile than you ever thought possible. I’m in love with my smile thanks to Dr. Pawley and I really wish every doctor was like him. He leads his staff and his smile, effort and genuine helpfulness is contagious and prevalent throughout the office.

Having adult braces wasn’t fun. But Dr. Pawley and the entire staff are so amazing that it made the whole process much easier.
No matter how busy they are, they always take the time to answer my questions and explain to me exactly what changes they’re making. Even after I got my braces off, they were still incredibly helpful! I broke my retainer on Thanksgiving and someone from the staff offered to meet me that night to fix it! Even though we met up the next day, the fact that she offered to come in on a holiday showed how much they care!
Seriously, they’re great.

I previously went to a different orthodontist and received treatment they never finished my teeth in a comfortable bite even had be pull out permanent teeth. After having my braces off for two years I decided to look into new places to get treatment over again and found Dr. Pawley’s office. I’m really happy with how friendly Dr. Pawley and his staff are! They really know what they are doing. After having a consult and looking at their website I am having treatment again! But this time I know it’s done right!

Okay, a great review of Dr. Pawley could just be about my straight teeth and killer smile!!! :) But, there’s so much more… Dr. Pawley is really fun and you can tell he totally knows his stuff. And his staff makes the whole process of going to the orthodontist so much easier then it could be. I wasn’t really excited about getting braces when I did, but, in the end, I’m so glad that I did it and really thankful that my parents took me to Dr. Pawley. I can’t imagine there’s a better orthodontist anywhere!

Dr. Pawley and his office staff are friendly, professional and always make you feel special when you come in. It’s so nice to go to someone where you don’t feel like a number. Another orthodontist we consulted wanted to take out 4 permanent teeth to create space and then just cram them all together. Dr. Pawley explained that in rare cases that’s necessary but it’s the easy way out! Doing this can create a flat smile and doesn’t consider how a child’s face matures over time. I’m so glad, and so is my son, that we didn’t remove his teeth and thanks to Dr. Pawley he has a beautiful smile to serve him his whole life.

Highly recommend this orthodontist! The staff is great and the best part is we never waited more than 5 minutes when we arrived for an appt. They always take you during an emergency (if a bracket or wire is loose). I had a nightmare experience with another orthodontist in La Verne and we always waited 30 — 45 min to be seen and they never allowed you to come in for an emergency. The La Verne orthodontist (we’ll call him Dr. T.) screwed up my son’s teeth so bad, that the California Dental Association made Dr. T. refund my $ 5,000. That’s when we went to Dr. Okamoto/​Pawley. My dentist, who is all the way in Arcadia, highly recommended them. I’m glad I took his advice, it was the best decision we ever made. Great orthodontist + great staff = great experience!!!

We have just gotten back from our first appointment with Dr. Pawley, and I definitely felt the need to leave a review. We actually chose him based on reviews here and it was a GREAT decision for us.
We did have a bit of a wait, but then again, we got there quite late as I got lost finding the office. (That’s on me.) However, we were greeted, treated kindly and cheerfully and when we were seen in, the assistant Karen put us right at ease. She really could not be friendlier — not «I have to do this for my job» friendly but just genuinely outgoing and interested. My son was totally comfortable right away.
Dr. Pawley came in and he gave us the lowdown, after, like Karen, friendliness and putting us at ease. It seems everyone at the office is very happy to be there, it really sets things off on the right foot.
We were there for a second opinion as we had been told our middle son needed an expander and braces. This was following on a whole bunch of procedures for our youngest as well that came out of the blue and we really just weren’t sure and wanted someone else to take a look. So my husband went review-​hunting, we saw the great reviews here for Dr. Pawley and we set up the appointment for the second opinion.
Wow, what a different experience with Dr. Pawley’s office. Dr. Pawley (and initially, Karen too) said it would be smarter to wait until my son’s adult teeth are all in before getting braces. He can predict but won’t know for certain exactly what the situation be like until that actually happens. As for the expander, my son really doesn’t need it and it would only be an unnecessary additional procedure.
Dr. Pawley also took a look at my other son’s teeth even though we had no appointment. (I had brought up the subject of this son’s expander.) Dr. Pawley saw no reason not to as we were already there and it was a simple matter of filling out a quick sheet of paperwork for my second son too. He actually adjusted my second son’s retainer. No muss, no fuss, no extra appointment, no charge and my littlest son is now so much more comfortable.
I absolutely would recommend this office — can’t say enough about our experience, which so far has been wonderful. I am just so happy and relieved to have gotten a second opinion and that it happened to be an office that, from all indications so far, anyway, is pure gold. We are switching over to this office. Thank you, Dr. Pawley and Karen!

Dr. Pawley and his associates are incredibly professional and personable! Every time I came into the office Dr. Pawley welcomed me with in a warm and friendly way. He did an incredible job of balancing a warm personality and a high degree of professionalism!
I began treatment on June 17^th, 2013 and ended treatment November 17^th, 2014.
Dr. Antione Sayegh, my implant specialist, recommended I visit Dr. Pawley to have my teeth straightened before receiving an implant. I’ve also uploaded the before, during, and after shots!

I was referred to Dr. Pawley by my sister. I did not want to drive all the way to Glendora from Alhambra for an Orthodontist. But I have to say that Dr. Pawley and his amazing staff are worth every minute I spend in the car!!! He is a wonderful, honest, and knowledgeable practitioner. This office is the gold standard of orthodontics! Best part is he saved me $ 2,500 and 4 teeth that another doctor wanted to pull out in order to give me my straight smile! Dr. Pawley said I could keep those teeth and still have a straight smile, and he was right! Love this Doctor and his wonderful staff!!!

Wow! What a change from other doctor, dentist and ortho offices. This office is on time, orgainzed, friendly and top notch! Dr. Pawley truely cares about his work! It is a pleasure to go here and you can’t say that about many doctor’s offices these days!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Pawley and his entire staff. I got my braces here several years ago and my teeth are still straight, and I have Dr. Pawley to thank for that. The staff is always really friendly and extremely helpful. A bracket popped off my tooth one time, and someone came in on a Saturday night to put the bracket back on for me. That is Customer Service. Getting braces is a big life decision and Dr. Pawley made it seem effortless. I definitely recommend people of all ages, use Dr. Pawley for Orthodontic work.

We love Dr Pawley and everyone in his office. Dr Pawley is awesome with my daughter and she loves going to the orthodontist because of him. They are very professional and the patient always comes first. I have recommended Dr. Pawley to many of my friends and will continue to do so.
