I walked into several salons in Glendora and this place had the most comfortable atmosphere for me. I felt at home and the ladies there were very hospitable. Loved my cut after so many years not being able to afford due to lost job and other bills to pay. Finally this was for me and Allie made it so great! Great cut, wash, professional attitude but still helpful and listened to what I wanted. I will return again in a heartbeat! Thank you ladies and good luck to the newlyweds!

So, I just moved to this area and was looking for a new hair stylist. I’m quite panicky and paranoid about the whole hair cutting experience, due to couple of disastrous haircuts I had before. So, finally my hair has grew back and I’m trying to get it back to a long-​layered bob (still gonna take a while, but it’s getting there).
I read Unilocal reviews about this salon and most of them are very good, so I decided to give it a try.
I set up appointment with Amanda. Came to salon on Saturday afternoon. They weren’t too crowded, everyone was very pleasant, immediately asked me if I wanted coffee, water or a mimosa (which, of course, I said yes too! LOL).
Amanda took her time with getting to know my hair and making sure she got all the information from me in regards to the hair cut and hair style I wanted. She was very good at making sure she doesn’t cut more than I wanted her to and she did everything I asked her to just the way I wanted. She styled it beautifully. Overall, the entire day I couldn’t help but look at my haircut and my hair every chance I got!
Great job and very nice and cute salon with great atmosphere and staff. I think I found my new stylist! :)

KELLY is the best. I have been coming to her for 2 years now. Always on time. Super friendly and welcoming. She always gives me exactly what I ask for. She is the only one I trust so I drive from San Bernardino to Glendora every 8 weeks. My daughters comes to to Kelly too. Kelly knows all of the latest styles and trends and we all leave extremely happy.

Kim has been doing my hair for almost 15 years; I LOVE her! My hair is always perfect and she recommends the best products to keep my hair in shape. I get color and cut every 5 weeks and Kim always accommodates my schedule. I drive from Newport Beach because she is the only one I trust! I’ve also gotten extensions in the past and they were amazing. I have thin, weak, blonde hair. when I leave Kim I always feel like my hair is so much healthier. Cool atmosphere too :) I want to give Kim and Salon 2one8 a 10+++++++++++

I have been coming to Salon 218 for about 2 years. Kim has always done my hair and I couldn’t be happier. I know I can be picky and particular about how I want my color or my cut, and she is always very accommodating. If you care about the integrity of your hair, I recommend you try this place!

Ariana did a fabulous job on my hair.
I went in ridden with anxiety because of my lack of a haircut in three years! My hair is extremely long, a little past my bottom. I have always been used to long hair and am scared every time I go in for a cut that it will end up too short. But this amazing petite woman tackled my locks with no trouble at all. She was very tuned into my needs and handled my concerns with delicacy. I was set at ease as soon as she started with my wash because I could tell she knew what she was doing. I ended up with exactly what I wanted and the length was perfect.
Ariana had her work cut out for her, and I know her poor little arms will probably remember me well into tomorrow, but I thank her for making me feel amazing again.

MARCOS IS AMAZING.
I just finished up my first appointment here with Marcos. He is by far the best hairdresser I’ve had. Prior to today, I was driving far for my extremely pricy hair appointments (Marcos has very reasonable prices!) I’ve always had trouble finding a hairdresser that could perfect my long hair until I met Marcos. He listened to exactly what I wanted, gave great recommendations, and left me with beautiful hair. Marcos is a true hair expertise and I am beyond satisfied. I recommend him to all individuals seeking hair perfection! :)
In addition, the entire staff is extremely kind and caring. I was offered refreshments as I walked in and everyone ensured that I was comfortable throughout my visit. Great hairdresser, wonderful salon.

They are awesome people. I needed to find a hair stylist last minute the day after new year and she helped make it happen for me and my mom. She is very nice and super helpful. She understands my needs

I saw the reviews on Unilocal for this salon and I decided to make a appointment to change my hair color from being a dark brunette to completely blonde. Based the reviews I read. I chose to see Marcos. He did a wonderful job on my visit. While my previous hairdresser advised me that I couldn’t be blonde and that my hair couldn’t take the stress with bleach. Marcos said I could and he managed with time and several visits to make me a blonde hair girl with minimal damaged to my hair and it looks great. He made my dreams come true. I definitely recommend to see Marcos at the salon. He takes pride in his work and takes care of you and make sure your satisfied with your hair. He is now my regular hairdresser. He is awesome !

First time here and I really enjoyed it. Had my haircut by Gina who did a terrific job helping me find the right cut. Great experience and will definitely be back.

I just had to come again to do my hair I come all the way from Seattle WA Marcos is the person I see for my hair and he does an amazing job If you ever down here you have to come down here and ask for Marcos you will never regret

I have come here twice now, and I love this business. Marcos did my hair the first time and I liked him so much that I asked for him the second time. Before the hair cut began I had my hair shampooed and conditioned. The girls were very friendly and introduced themselves to me and were great at making a conversation. The first thing I noticed was how gentle their hands were over my scalp. It felt so relaxing I almost fell asleep the first time. Then when I had my hair cut with Marcos, he helped me find a style and did an amazing job. He curled my hair afterwards, and I felt like a princess. :) The total cost was fifty dollars, which is a lot for me because I am a student, but it is worth it for me because of how professional the business is. I recommended this place to my friend, and she came and also got her hair done by Marcos and returned so happy about her experience. She loved her hair. It is rare to find a salon this good. Definitely five stars!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Marcos for a few years now & let me say he does AMAZING work!!! I was with my past hairstylist for about 12 years (since high school) & NEVER thought I would leave her, then a friend introduced me to Marcos & I decided to give him a try, fast forward a few years & here I am still coming to him to get my hair done!
If you ladies want to feel & LOOK like a million bucks, Marcos is the man for the job! He is so good at what he does & the best part about it is he takes interest in each & every one of his clients, taking his time with each & every one! You will never get a rushed job with him… I always get compliments on my hair & it’s all thanks to him. So come on in, enjoy a mimosa, sit back & relax and let Marcos work his magic! :)

Marcos!!! AMAZING! In and out and super attentive to what I wanted! Took really good care of my hair and did an amazing job! Could not believe the result! Definitely returning and saving his number! Great salon very clean organized and everyone is very nice. Now that being said let’s get to my stylist the very talented Bree. I just love the way she does my hair blond and healthy everytime. She’s always on time and professional, don’t get me wrong she always has time for some chatting lol. I am very happy with her work I’ve been blond not natural… lol for quite some time and was always over processed that’s why I was always searching well look no further for me. Bree is my go to hair artist!!! Overall this salon has great stylist judging fron seeing their clients hair. I would highly recommend them and of course Bree.

Marcos saved me! He performed magic. I went from ratchet over processed hair to amazing hot blonde! I don’t know how he works so fast either. But I definitely recommend Marcos to all! I know I won’t go to anyone else! Thank you Marcos..

I WAS going to be a first time customer. I received a phone call a few days after scheduling an appointment from the salon wanting to move my appointment, but due to my time constraints I couldn’t do it.
Seems backwards doesn’t it?
I get a call from the salon the day before my appointment, canceling my appointment I had with Marco and was unable to get me in the following week due to Marco going on vacation. I tried to get to another stylist during the time I had available in a 2 week timeframe but they had no openings.
Again… Seems backwards, not to mention unprofessional to cancel your clients appointment without being able to reschedule.
I’m sure the shop and stylist wouldn’t be happy if the shoe was on the other foot. Thanks for wasting my time.

I made my appointment with Kelly after meeting with her a few weeks back for a consultation. I met with her today and she did a GREAT job. My cut was perfect, my color lifted just right and blended in even. Overall highly satisfied. Plus on top of that she was super easy going and sweet.
The salon is super classy, organized, and welcoming. The girls at the front desk are on it as soon as you walk in.

Getting beautified today with my main best hair stylist Marcos! «Blonder for the summer» and he knows what hair style fits best for my skin tone and length. Always shows a different way of styling it and listens to my needs. Such a sweetie and he never fails to leave me breathless with my hair styling. I recommend calling and asking for Marcos.
With former hair stylist, it would take about 3 hours to get highlights and they would damage my hair. With Marcos, I’m in and out in about an 1 to 1.5 hours.
Trust me, he will never disappoint. My family and friends come see him too.

I really wanted to love this place.
Even before you’ve finished entering the salon, you are greeted with friendly faces, eager to serve you a mimosa, champaign, or some freshly brewed coffee. Lovely interior design. A little hard to spot while driving though.
My first visit, I went in wanting to turn my box dyed brown hair into blonde with a partially natural streak in front. I had been platinum blonde, went crazy and dyed it drugstore box red, then box brown when the red just wouldn’t stay in, due to extremely porous hair.
I asked for some Betty Paige bangs and a trim and I couldn’t believe how amazing my hair came out after being processed twice that day. Bleach is a sacrifice and a long process. Shay Halton was so patient and friendly, always offering some reading material or a beverage while my hair processes. There was a mixup with communication and one of her appointments was scheduled in the middle of mine. I didn’t mind, I was waiting for the bleach to work its magic. Because of the mix up, I ended up missing work that day, said appointment took longer than expected-​pushing my hairs next step down 30 minutes.
My second visit proceeded to be a disaster. I made an appointment one morning for a root touch up and a trim the next morning. When I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early, I was informed that Shay hadn’t arrived yet, but should be there shortly. 45 minutes later the lady at the front desk called Shays cell phone to get an idea of how much longer Id have to wait, and apparently she didn’t even know she had an appointment that morning so she hadn’t even left her home.
I was really disappointed that the communication was not there, once again. They must not have told her she had a new client for the next morning, and she must not have checked the appointment book before she left the day before.
I really loved the way Shays hair cut gave me the kind of body my hair looks good with, I don’t like the time issue that seems to come along with the territory.
