Went into the salon to get color and wasn’t happy with it so I called the salon to let them know I was unhappy so the Owner got back to me after a month or so letting me know she was out for a family emergency which I totally understand and wanted me to come in so she could fix my hair so I agreed to and she did a great job and was very nice about it. I’m glad I was able to fix my hair at my cost. She takes her take and doesn’t rush through it that’s what I like. She was very understand and just wanted me happy

Went in needing a major hair cut due to over processed hair. Ive never been here before but I will definitely be comming back. I got my hair cut by Bri Bowling, she did an amazing job wiht my hair and I am very pleased with the out come, definitely recomend comming here. Shop is supper clean and supper friendly.

I found Lana Mae on Instagram and I’m so thankful I did. She has been amazing. As a daughter of a hairdresser I’m very picky about who touches my hair and I’ve had a lot of bad experiences.
Lana Mae makes everything look effortless. I trust every decision she makes. Never been disappointed and her prices are very affordable!

I went in to get a haircut by Mathew. Been cutting my own hair for years so I know what I want. I usually have to critique my barber as its being cut cuz I know what I like. I didn’t have to say anything when Mathew did it! It came out perfect! I was super pumped at the job he did! Just what I wanted and could never do myself. Definitely will be back to see Matt

Into my first week with my haircut & I still love it! I’m new in Glendora & there are several salon options here (& they’re probably all awesome!) but I felt more comfortable coming in here. Friendly atmosphere, no gossiping among the staff, & got me in immediately. I didn’t ask for any one in particular since I’ve never been here, but I got Bre & she did a great job on my shoulder length, thin hair. I got it cut very short. She was able to layer in the back, so I look like I have lots of hair & volume. I’m able to wear it any way I want without any fuss. I got exactly what I wanted. I’ve also gotten a lot of compliments. Prices are competitive. I’m very happy with my haircut! I am coming back!

I walked into Bobbi Pins without an appointment in need of a cut and color. I was immediately welcomed and seated. I was placed in the hands of Bri, who did an amazing job with my hair. I showed Bri a picture of what I wanted, and she exceeded my request without a doubt. Definitely a Happy Customer! Thank you Bri!!! :)

Flew in from new jersey needed a haircut. Looked on Unilocal found this great place, Brea cut my hair and listened to what i wanted. She did a great job. Thanks Unilocal and Bobbi Pins!

MANDY (Amanda) has been doing my hair for years now. When I first started seeing her it was just for trims, also she gave me the most badass long bob a few years back. However I would never cut my hair that short again. I love it long, but hey you gotta try things :)
Iv always wanted to be bold with my hair and go crazy, but at the same time I was scared of change.
I am a natural brunette, and Mandy has taken me from brown to blonde, and more recently she made me a ginger. My true dream! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MANDY! Her hair cuts are friggin awesome, I have so much hair and she continues to give me thee most beautiful layers, making my hair look so beautiful, full and silky.
In the coloring process that she has taken me through, she has always been very informative letting me know what does what, and what kind of shampoo I should use etc.
Mandy is nice, beautiful, and she always looks amazing! The comfort of her clients matters to her. Bobbi Pins offers refreshments which I usually always take advantage of.

Last post review. Went last Friday to get my hair color with Matthew. He did an awesome job. The atmosphere was very upbeat and at same time relaxing. I was even able to take a power nap :)

Lana Rollman is simply AMAZING! I can always count on her to accommodate my work schedule and do a fantastic job on my hair. The girl is extremely professional. Thank you Carolyn for recommending her to me! I will highly recommend her to my friends and family!

Just finished getting my hair colored and trimmed by Heather. I have not had color in my hair since 2000 and the results of my ombré is absolutely fantastic! I love it. Heather does amazing work and is very attentive towards your wishes!

I have been coming here for years and I leave with a huge smile every time. I went from brunette to platinum blonde to a natural blonde. This last time I made a drastic change to my hair. Buuuut it was phenomenal. I love it even more since it was different. I went for the purple/​gray look and I rocked it!!! I have had my same hairdresser for 8 years, her name is Marlene. She always takes her time, since you obviously can’t rush beauty. She is patient with me and always makes my hair look glamorous. One time I came in wanting a Bob… I thank God she did NOT let me commit that error. I get compliments for my hair left and right, every age. This place is always clean, and full of good energy. I love conversing with Matthew as well. Such a great guy. I get advise from him and Marlene. Another great thing about this salon is that they provide wine or beer
I will continue to come to this place, whether it be for a cut, a deep conditioner, color, blow outs or anything else. They always take care of me. Prices are reasonable as well. Definitely recommend.

I wanted a change in my hair color and style. Matthew James Mikkelson is by far the best hair stylist ever. I went to my 30 year high school reunion and he transformed my look. This was my second visit with him and I’m impressed as I am never happy with my hair. Thank you Matthew for making me feel better about my hair and myself. It was fun.

Matthew. He is an angel. He made me feel legitimately safe with my hair in his hands. I really never was able to find a hair person that I can trust but I think I’ve found my one! Definitely will return for something a bit more dramatic of a change:) Matthew is personable, funny, and understanding. Love my new hair with actual volume! :)

I absolutely love this salon. I always get my hair done with Danielle. She is a master of her craft. I’m just very lucky to have found a salon close to my home where I can get my hair looking fantastic! I have black, natural hair, and Danielle always seems to make my hair come alive with color. I always feel confident and beautiful whenever I get my hair done by Danielle. She is truly amazing. I also love the ambiance and décor of Bobbi Pins. It’s so spunky and vibrant. I’ve never been disappointed or unhappy about my hair. There’s a reason why Bobbi Pins is always voted best salon in San Gabriel Valley. We are all happy clients here.

Absolutely amazing!
A couple months ago, I searched and searched for a place to fix my horribly done hair.
I came in and met Danielle, and she fixed it exactly the way I asked for it!
Today, I came back to Danielle with the task of lightening my hair. She is absolutely fantastic for blondes (not that she isn’t fantastic with all other colors: p).
For me, I have a difficult time getting rid of orange-​y tones in my hair :(blah. However, Danielle so greatly succeeded with lightening my hair! The whole appointment was a lot shorter than I thought it would be for lightening!
Even the toning was the perfect, ash-​y tone that I asked for verbally and showed her through photos. She even helped cut my hair just the way I wanted.
She is extremely professional and talked me through the whole process. Danielle has such a great personality, you can’t help but feel comfortable and heard in her chair. You can really tell that she loves her passion (such a better word than «job»)!
There is definitely a good reason why they have received «best hair salon» the last three years in a row!

I had an appointment at 10:00 AM with the owner, Danielle, for an ombré plus a trim. I arrived ten minutes early. She arrived forty minutes late.
Once we got started, I explained that I wanted an ombré for about half of my hair. I showed her a photo of the specific color and exactly how much I wanted in my hair (about 40−50%). She started to put in bleach and I noticed immediately how she was doing 80% of my hair rather than half like I had specified. I’ve never had my hair bleached before so at the time I figured she knew what she was doing. I was so wrong.
While bleaching she kept leaving abruptly without telling me how long I’d need to sit there. Eventually, my friend who came with me needed to ask an employee where Danielle was because we were getting concerned about the bleach staying in my hair too long.
When she finally washed it out she was shockingly rough with me. I was on the verge of tears when she would scrub and handle my hair. When I had any tangles she ripped them apart.
We confirmed the color once more with the photo (a nice dark teal with lighter tips) before starting. I was worried we wouldn’t achieve the color I wanted so I even sent the photo to her phone so she could reference it while mixing. She came back with dye that didn’t look right. Again, I trusted that she knew what she was doing and that it might look different once applied.
While adding the dye, she had another stylist help because of how much hair I have. The stylist helping commented that she was «so done with this». Yikes. At that point I knew this entire ordeal was a huge mistake.
By the end, the employees there loved it and kept complimenting it once it was done so I had no idea how to say I absolutely hated it. Instinctively I lied my butt off and said I loved it just so I could get out of there. She texted me afterwards and I felt like I had to lie so I would never have to see her again.
Once I got home I noticed parts of my hair were missed. Not to mention the shirt I was wearing was ruined by the bleach, which had been getting everywhere when she messily applied it. So messily, in fact, it’d splatter and get in my eyes sometimes.
With that horribly vibrant hair color she gave me I didn’t even want my neighbors to see me. It was so embarrassing I had to get it corrected at a different salon by a stylist I actually trust the next day.
We contacted Danielle and explained everything that went wrong and requested half of my money back. All she did was get defensive. We didn’t even receive an apology.
I wasted 6 hours and $ 160 at Bobbi Pins Salon and completely regret it. I’m never coming back here again.

Lana Rollman has been my Hair Stylist (and my daughter’s) since 2010. Not only is she very talented, she is as sweet as can be! I love and appreciate her creativity and knowledge.
Although no longer coveniently located by me since I moved farther away from Glendora, the salon is in a very charming neighborhood with a lot of cute shops & good restaurants. Great atmosphere in the salon too. Everyone is very friendly, but Lana’s style & professionalism are top notch! She knows her stuff! Definitely worth the commute for me.
