Phil-​Mont has offered high level, K-​12 academics for the children in Christian families and has been in operation since 1943. Phil-​Mont strives for excellence in Academics, Arts, & Athletics for the glory of God and the good of his people.

History

Established in 1943.

In September 1943, the first classes of the Willow Grove Christian Day School began with 1 teacher and 17 students in three elementary classes. The school met in the basement of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove. Phil-​Mont has been located in Erdenheim since the purchase of Hillcrest Junior High School in 1979. The elementary joined the campus in 2007, so that today, all grades (K-​12) are housed in one building holding approximately 280 students and representing over 100 different churches in the greater Philadelphia area.

Phil-​Mont is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, is certified as a 501©(3) non-​profit organization in Pennsylvania, and is directed by a self-​sustaining board of trustees.
