Horrible camp ground. Full of full timers that never leave or shower. Will never come back here.

A gem of a campground(and RV park) in Gold Beach! As much as I like to rough it, I appreciate clean facilities… my measure of a good campground is a bathroom that I feel comfortable changing my contact lenses in without getting grossed out, and this one fits the bill! I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the bathrooms were housed in this old barn-like shack… but the interior was spotless! Large clean mirrors, spotless counters and sinks, free showers with hot water… it is the cleanest campground bathroom I’ve been in!(Small sidenote: I would add hooks to the bathroom doors and a paper towel dispenser or hand dryer in the bathrooms). Bathrooms aside, service was friendly at the front desk which has a little camping tuck shop with snacks, drinks and canned goods. There is also a rec room attached with couches/TV, and pool/ping pong tables to use. They even have weekly socials for the residents(I was sad we were one day too early for the nacho bar!). Wifi works in the front shop/rec room as well as the RV site area — unfortunately it does not reach back to the tent area which is in the back of the park. They even suggested that you are able to use any unused central electric/water docks for the RV’s to charge your laptop as you use it. They let us drive through the campsites first before committing to a site number. The even-numbered sites tend to have more shade and privacy than the odd-numbered sites. Price can’t be beat at $ 18/night. Location is awesome — it was just a few blocks away from the main reason why we stopped in Gold Beach, jet boat rides up the Rogue river(but more on that another review)… don’t hesitate to stay here!
