Day Camp (Doggy Day Care)

Long work day? High energy dog? Separation anxiety? Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for a day at Camp! Early drop-​off and late pick-​up allow you to focus on your daily routine while your dog plays with our Certified Camp Counselors® and his or her favorite canine friends. We’ll find the play group that best fits your dog’s personality and size while you find the schedule that best suits your dog’s needs. At the end of the day, each dog goes home tired and happy. That’s good for your dog, and good for you, too!

Overnight Camp (Dog Boarding)

Vacation? Business Trip? Allergic house guests? Home remodeling? Bring your dog to Camp Bow Wow for an overnight stay! Overnight Campers stay busy with Camp activities during the day and go to their cabins for meal time and bedtime. All-​day play, private cabins, and plenty of canine and human contact help your pup sleep soundly at Camp Bow Wow while you are away.

Home Buddies (In-​Home Dog Care)

Does your dog prefer to stay at home? Not a social dog? We also offer in-​home daytime and overnight visits. We offer anywhere from 30 minute visits to caring for your pup while you’re away on vacation. Contact us to help find the best program that fits you and your pup’s needs.

Behavior Buddies (Dog Training)

We offer several dog training opportunities from group or individual training, to training while your pup is at Camp or Overnight Boarding. Let us help create the best program to get your pup behaving their best.

Established in 2004.

Camp Bow Wow® Golden opened its doors on July 1, 2004.

The Camp concept provides the highest levels of fun, safety, and service for our Campers, and peace of mind for their parents. Since we started franchising in 2003, The Camp Bow Wow brand has grown to over 124 open Camps, including one in Canada, over 75 Home Buddies franchises, 6 standalone Home Buddies locations, 150 franchises awarded, and a wonderful charity, the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation. As Camp Bow Wow grows, our simple philosophy remains the same: It’s all about the dogs.

My dog, Ajax (named for the mountain in Aspen, not the foaming cleanser!) adopted Me just about a year ago. He was a very sad, not outgoing friend at all. Fortunately I heard about «Camp» and we went for an interview — he passed and within a couple of visits learned that being «social» was great fun. Now it is a great place for him to visit and the staff are wonderful in welcoming him. Many Thanks for the caring staff!

As you have had our since our girls have been coming to Camp Bow Wow, everyone takes great care of them. Always attentive, never left alone in the yard, and cared for all steps of the way. You guys have even figured out how to put their harnesses on! (Those darn things are tough to figure out!)

LOVE Camp Bow Wow and so do our puppies! Sam is fantastic with the dogs and so are all of the other canine camp counselors. They are kind, energetic and genuinely LOVE our furry family. Their prices are competitive and the service can’t be beat. We are so glad to have found them to care for our pups!

Our golden retriever puppy Samson has been coming to Camp Bow Wow Golden since he was 4 months (now 9 months). He loves all of his dog and staff friends! He’s so exhausted after a day of daycare which is always a good thing! Their webcams are a big plus for an overbearing dog mom like myself. They always remember us and «little» Samson.

My dog, Gizmo, loves Camp Bow Wow! They keep it very clean and the workers are very caring and loving. They call me if there are any concerns they have about Gizmo. I send him to daycare two times a week and have boarded him on a long weekend. I have nothing but great things to say about Camp Bow Wow!

This is the only place I take my fur babies to board. It is a little out of the way for me, but worth the drive! The staff are extremely friendly and wonderful with the dogs. I love that I can watch them on the webcams while I am away. My dogs come home exhausted after a full day playing with the other dogs. We will definitely be back!

Was very excited after the «interview», but the first day my puppy was at full day camp, I didn’t like how one of the handlers pushed the dogs away from the open gate (which I witnessed on the webcams). He would even push dogs who were not near the gate and would make a fist at the dogs. After the first day, we were playing with our dog, and when we went to pet her chest, she Unilocaled. I brought up my concerns at the front desk the next day and they said pushing the dogs away from the open gate was a practice they did to teach dogs not to run out of open gates. On the webcams, some, not all, of the handlers would just wander around and not pay ANY attention to the dogs unless they were spraying the pups with water. We transferred up to Camp Bow Wow in Northglenn, where my dog, and I, are MUCH happier!

harley loves camp bow wow! I especially like that I can watch him on the doggy cam! The employees make such a big deal over him when we come in! My children’s daycares never treated my kids like that!

We boarded our special needs dog here about 3 years ago and had a terrible experience. Recently, we decided to try it again and were very pleased. The facility is under new management and is SO CLEAN! We really like the new «cabins» and the attention to detail by the staff regarding special foods and meds. We will continue to board our special needs dog here in the future and encourage them to keep up the good work!

Camp Bow Wow Golden is awesome! My dog has spent several full days and a few over nights there. When I tell my dog to get in the car to go to «camp» he instantly gets excited and I cant get the car door open fast enough for him! When we pull into the parking lot he gets even more excited… so I have no doubts that he LOVES going there! The staff is always very friendly, not only to my dog but to me as well. The live camera feed is a huge bonus too. It’s nice to be able to check in on him throughout the day. But honestly, I’m never worried about him being there, I trust that he is in good hands. I will continue to recommend Camp Bow Wow Golden to everyone I know who owns dogs!

Wonderful, clean, friendly, caring, facility. Luke worked with my little one who had never been separated from us and didn’t know how to play with other dogs and she has made great progress. Their main concern is for the animals and working with them at their pace to keep them as stress free as possible. Highly recommend them for day care and for boarding.

My dogs love it here. I brought them to a different place when I first moved here, and after one visit they refused to go back inside. When I bring them to CBW now, they race in the door like they can’t get there fast enough. They are tired when they come home so I know that they were playing and treated well. I board them occasionally and I get reports about how they ate, what they did, how they behaved. I can tell that my dogs enjoy it here and I’m glad that I have a place that I can trust.

At first, the camp was great and the staff very welcoming. Unfortunately, in the span of 2 months I had to call it quits after: (a) my dog got kennel cough and conjunctivitis; (b) they charged me for grooming I did not request; © they pushed their in-​house training on me constantly and were extremely rude when I told them I was planning to go elsewhere; and (d) no one was at the front desk when I went to pick my dog up — after waiting, calling and yelling for help I eventually left for lack of knowing what else to do and left a note — someone finally called me back after over an hour and told me they didn’t hear the bell — it was scary.
I think there are far better options in the Golden/​Denver area.

We were considering having our dog boarded here while we are on vacation in March. They required us to come in for an «interview» so that our dog and the staff can get familiar with each other. Our dog was required to stay a minimum of 3 hours but could stay for the whole day. I picked him up after being there for about 5 hours and about 5 days later, our dog has kennel cough. Very disappointed.

Our dogs love going to Camp Bow Wow! They are so excited when we turn on the road to go to camp and can’t get out of the truck fast enough. When we go in the staff always greets our dogs by their names and boy are they excited to go play with their friends. All of staff is great. It’s fun to watch them on the live video cams. I have recommended this location to many friends who have also really liked taking their dogs here. And the added bonus is the dogs come home tired from playing all day so it’s a nice peaceful evening.

You guys love Ayla, and Ayla loves you! The friendly, attentive and responsive staff, as well as attention to detail make it a joy to bring her to you for her weekly socialization! We were comfortable leaving her there for the whole Thanksgiving week. When we first starting bringing her to Camp Bow Wow, we were worried because she has separation anxiety. The regular socialization made it easy for us to see her anxiety lessen, and more comfortable leaving her with someone for the first time in her short 8 months of life! Thanks to everyone for making it a great experience!

I cannot say enough how much I and my pup love Camp Bow Wow! I was having trouble finding a place that would take my pit bull, Sho. Many places in Colorado, even though they are not in Denver County and do not have breed restriction laws, refused to take my sweet girl or would board her but she wouldn’t be able to play with other dogs.
Camp Bow Wow not only accepted Sho but they loved on her and allowed her to play all day! This place is amazing and I would recommend them to any and everyone!

I thought I reviewed this place already but I guess not. We love Camp Bow Wow! The employees are ridiculously kind and genuinely love dogs. It’s been about 3 weeks since we have gone but Taylor and another girl with blonde hair were way nice and super helpful. Our dog was also given a bath and she was nice and clean when we picked her up. They’ve got cameras in there with a live feed so you can check in on your pet which we loved. We’ll def. use this boarding facility in the future.

This place is great! We’ve been boarding our dogs here for 8 years (labs) for vacations of various lengths of time. The staff is great, and our dogs always come back happy, and exhausted. In the summer they have pools out for the water dogs (which ours love). I would highly recommend this, although I will add the caveat that we’ve never done daycare, only boarding.
The longest length of time we’ve left the dogs has been 2 weeks when we went to Europe, and still no issues.

We love Camp Bow Wow! They have welcomed our two dogs for the last three years with kindness and love.
They have done wonders with our dogs. When we adopted one, she was so skittish that she wouldn’t come out from under the coffee table for the first three months. She was also terrified of any man. We started taking her to Camp Bow Wow to socialize her with other dogs. The caring folks there worked with her and now she is a happy dog who wants to meet new people.
We also love that the dogs get to play all day for one price. We love that when we board the dogs, there is just one price that includes all-​day play. There is no additional charge for administering medications.
Finally, we we will never take our dogs to another camp because Camp Bow Wow accepted our dogs from the very first day, even though one is a pit-​mix.
