Rachelle is absolutely amazing! We got married in Kauai 5 years ago. She captured our day perfectly. I feel extremely lucky that I came across her website while searching for a photographer. She has mad photography skills, a unique style and is super sweet.

Rachelle has photographed many weddings for our venue the Twenty Mile House over the last few years. Our wedding couples always love her work and she is easy, fun and professional to work with. Rachelle knows how to capture the most beautiful memories from a wedding day and work in a positive and happy way with wedding couples. Rachelle is truly amazing; she was our wedding photographer for my same-​sex marriage in August of 2014.
Looking for a wedding photographer is a daunting task — and one that I invested a lot of time in. It was so hard to find the right person, because I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted candid, natural, beautiful photos that reflected my wedding day. I also didn’t want someone to photoshop the truth away, and so that presented another challenge.
When I found Rachelle’s website I was instantly interested; when my husband and I met with Rachelle for the first time on Skype I was elated! Rachelle has a calm, honest, kind personality that felt instantly perfect. She’s one of those people that you feel you’ve known forever after knowing her for only minutes. She’s clearly an old soul.
Rachelle made laying out the terms of our agreement simple, and really conformed to whatever worked best for us.
The day of the wedding she showed up right on time, and instantly got to work. Rachelle ran away with my husband and I for an amazing 1-​on-​1 shoot before the wedding, and then stayed into the night with us as we moved through each stage of the wedding. She was truly hidden from view, and always moving and laughing at every turn. Everyone adored her.
The turnaround time on our photos was just as promised, and she even sent some bonuses like a beautiful montage on my facebook. Her photos all came out stunning! I could not write a more positive review for her!!! I have been recommending her to everyone I know that’s getting married and looking for someone to capture their day as it truly happened. We have used Rachelle’s services for our wedding pictures and we were absolutely satisfied.
Before the event, she always promptly responded to all of our emails and phone calls. She flew to our wedding in Hawaii and even came with an assistant. She took a lot of pictures and she sent us a few hundreds edited pictures (on a 5 hours gig), which I believe involved a lot of post-​editing work. We really liked her creativity and color compositions.
Rachelle is very professional and easy to work with, while we sometimes didn’t notice her presence (in a good way) we felt really comfortable during the photo shoots.

I could not be more impressed with Rachelle and the amazing photos which she took of our wedding. Prior to our wedding, Rachelle and I had several conversations regarding what type of «vibe» I wanted for our wedding photos. She also encouraged me to send her examples of styles/​shots that I liked, so that she could be sure to give me exactly what I wanted. Rachelle did not disappoint, and she provided me with the exact «boho chic» pictures that I was hoping for (at about half the price of all of her competitors). Rachelle was willing to work with us on times and budget concerns, and she even travels for free, which no one else does… ever. During our wedding, Rachelle was creative, thought outside of the box regarding shots (the last thing I wanted was the traditional cheesy wedding photos), and she was just a cool person to be around. We got married at the Twenty Mile House, Rachelle knew the property well and provided us with a wide range of shooting locations. (On a side note, if you are looking for a wedding venue the Twenty Mile House is gorgeous, and you HAVE to use Rachelle there). Following our wedding, Rachelle had all of our photos edited in about a week, and every single photo was gorgeous! I’m not photogenic at all and she made me look stunning! Oh, and you get to keep EVERY photo, unlike other photographers who often make you pay per picture. As you can tell, I had a fantastic experience with Rachelle and I would highly recommend using her!

My husband and I got married in Kauai in July of 2011. Rachelle was our photographer and she was amazing. It was just myself, my husband, and an officiant. The moment I met Rachelle I felt like we had been friends for years. She helped me get ready and instantly put me at ease. She captured moments that were priceless and too photographs at times I don’t even remember her holding the camera. He knowledge of lighting and angle is amazing. I was blown away by the photographs and shocked that she had them ready for us on a CD within days. I wish I could give Rachelle more than a five star rating, her professionalism, and knowledge base was amazing. Even now, three plus years later we still talk about her. We have a photograph that she took on our fireplace mantel that gets compliments from every person who sees it.

I had a family photo session with Rachelle and she was wonderful. She was fun and energetic to get my young daughter’s attention. I absolutely love her style of photography. And when I used my favorite photo from the session for Christmas cards I got dozens of compliments from family and friends.
