In the early years, HDA Insurance was a retail agency operating only in California and specializing in Health Insurance and Auto Insurance. Following industry changes, the agency evolved into a large multi lines insurance provider in California, Arizona and Nevada with a focused expertise in property insurance.

HDA Insurance Brokerage was founded by Haig Artan in May, 1986. Haig started his insurance career with Coast Fed Services, a wholly owned insurance agency of Coast Federal Bank. He was Vice President — Sales for the Southern California region and successfully grew the network of insurance representatives utilizing the bank branch system throughout the State. In pursuit of offering an avenue for insurance consumers to connect with major carriers following an opportunity to learn about their particular risk and coverage provided, HDA Insurance has matured since 1986 and has successfully insured tens of thousands of California, Arizona and Nevada consumers.
