I’d certainly like to call myself a fashionable frugalista if I must say. J. Crew calls my name with it’s classic prep style but the prices aren’t always pleasant. The Factory J. Crew outlet is the perfect remedy. The styles are current and the selection is incredible with no shortage of sizes. (XS dress shirts galore for us slim folk!)
The discounts vary from time to time like any store and they always have deals, some sales are better than others. On my latest visit, the entire store was 50% off. Nice! I’d like to give them 5 stars but I have to knock one off for the bland service. It’s an outlet I get it but can I at least get a smile? Can’t say the service is bad it’s just not great.
This outlet is definitely one of my favorites out there. If you’re s stylish cheap skate like me, this one’s got your number!

This factory store has legitimate discounts, and carries items that are still currently being sold in the regular retail stores. Example — retail store version of coat for $ 150 you can get here for $ 125 plus whatever extra discount is going on that day, usually at least 25% off. The store itself isn’t huge, but it’s about the same as a small regular jcrew you might see in a regular sized mall. The folks who work here are helpful but don’t make you feel like you are being watched. Definitely worth the drive to Grapevine if you’re looking for anything preppy on the cheap. The store itself is located near the Saks entrance, and close to both the Banana Republic outlet and the Loft outlet, so if you need business casual outfits, that’s the entrance to use.

I rarely make it out to Grapevine Mills, and was thrilled to see there was a J. Crew Factory store there. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very nice gentleman. They had a great variety of clothing and had some nice sales going on. I ended up collecting a few things to try on and the same guy who greeted me quickly took the clothes from me to start me a dressing room. I’ve never been given this much attention at a store like this before, and it was really refreshing.
I ended up getting a couple shirts, and one of them was an extra 30% off than its already clearance price — wuh-​wuh-​win! Can’t get much better than this — I also found out, I can make returns and exchanges at any of the other factory stores (I live much closer to the one in Allen) — the staff was super courteous and helpful, I had a great shopping experience here!
