History

Established in 1995.

In the mid-​90s, friends asked me to photograph their wedding and anniversaries, and it just took off from there. In 1999, I started working at Wolf Camera, where I was asked to photograph events and start teaching photo classes. That was in the days of film! For ten years, I worked there, then moved to Ft Worth Camera, where I worked for almost 2 years, continuing to do freelance work, and had access to more advanced equipment. The art is constantly changing, so I attend workshops, seminars and schools to be better prepared to serve my clients.

A teacher in High School handed me a camera and asked if I wanted to take pictures for the Yearbook, and that got me started, as I had to research all about cameras and photography. Several years later, I graduated from NTSU with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I’ve worked at a TV station as a Cameraman and Photographer, and a daily newspaper as Sports Editor/​Photographer. I’ve photographed Presidents, Governors, Elizabeth Taylor and other celebrities and Colorado and New England in the fall. I’ve been blessed to see some of my students become really good photographers, which is a real thrill. Now, in cooperation with Crash Dynamics, I’m teaching our local police how to take better crime scene and accident photos, which is vitally important.

I’m not just a Photographer– I’m a Photography Instructor!

I met Jennifer several years ago, and we’ve worked together on many weddings, events and assignments. When asked to record a wedding, our clients always get TWO Professional Photographers.
