Went to TK a few weeks ago with a friend to have a disastrous acrylic set(from another salon! Not TK’s fault at all) soaked off. It took over an hour to soak them off but the woman working on me was extremely gentle and very motherly about it. I really appreciated her kindness and they only charged me $ 5 for the removal :) I don’t know if she just felt bad that it took so long but again, I was so thankful for her gentle touch because my nails were so thin at this point. I then had a set of acrylic dip nails put on, a first for me! I really enjoyed them but the tech didn’t want to put very long tips on them because she said you couldn’t go too long with dip nails. I found out later that this isn’t exactly the case(I don’t like them crazy long but they’re definitely longer than most!) so my nails ended up shorter than my preference and I had to let them grow out for a few weeks. I also wasn’t very pleased with the pink powder used for the top half of my French nails – on closer inspection the nail looked a little… Gritty? Like the powder was too irregular or something. They looked fine for what I paid, though, and I was so happy to have my old set off I didn’t mind all that much. All in all, though, I was pleased with my experience here. This place is definitely inexpensive compared to the salons I usually frequent but my friend advised me to visit for my full set removal and I’m so glad she did! Also, TK is NOT glamorous – it’s pretty much what you’d expect of a strip mall nail salon with kind of a mom & pop feel. They do keep it very clean though and the staff is very nice!

Extremely nice staff however, I will not be going back there. I got gel polish on my nails and they only lasted 4 days. The prices are very cheap which is why I went there but you definitely get what you pay for. I would suggest going somewhere else if you want something to last longer than a few days.

This neighborhood nail salon is great. Michelle, Ann and Amy are wonderful. They are always professional and try to make sure everyone has a good experience. Their prices are good and the salon is clean.

I have been going to TK Nails for a few years for pedicures. The three techs have become like family. I enjoy my time there and would recommend them to anyone. Ashley, I was there today when you were. I agree that was an unfortunate first visit for you.

Will not give any stars to this nail salon, awful service. The staff was very rude, while getting my mani/pedi Michelle was on the phone the whole time. Absolutely no communication with their clients, I finally asked to cut my nails short and she jammed the nail clipper into my nails. I commented to her to please be more careful and she snapped at me. If that was not enough I got the shellac nails that should last up to 2 weeks or more did not last even a 5 days when the shellac was coming off without any effort. Anyone that has ever gotten shellac knows that they last more than 2 weeks, unfortunately for me when I called back to get my money back they lied to me about the where about of the owner and started to yell at me over the phone. They pretty much explained that no matter what kind of service I received I was not going to get my money back. I would be crazy to go back and allow them to touch my hands.

I have a regular salon I frequent for my pedicures, but I was crunched for time so I came here as a walk-in at 6pm on a Tuesday. Two nail techs on staff(Vietnamese?), no clients at that time. Comfy massage seats with small space for my bag and phone nearby. Removal of previous polish, cut-down, trimming, followed by soak and scrub. Callus gel treatment, but no wrap/extended period for it to soak in. Nail tech was very gentle, maybe too gentle(is that possible??). I’m ticklish, she was accommodating, good foot and leg massage. Nice hot stone massage, also! Polish cleanup done with a paintbrush, nice attention to detail! The nail techs are very friendly, too. Total cost, $ 22. A great deal! I will definitely come back!
