The truck got our attention as we were walking out of Michael Kors and immediately I wanted to sample some of their more interesting flavors. The girl who helped us was so nice and let us sample whatever we wanted! I ended up sampling: Earl Grey Tea w/citrus notes Red Currant and Cream Both were incredibly delicious, but more than that the flavor profiles were so unique! The Earl Grey Tea ice cream is not something I would normally go for, but it was AMAZING, a perfect balance of Earl Grey warmth and light citrus accents! YUM! Small: $ 4.50 Large: $ 6.50

This ice cream truck confuses me. It’ll be parked in its usual spot at 9PM on a 50 degree tuesday night in October, yet nowhere to be found on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Then there was the time when i saw it overtaking me at top speed on Route 1, heading in the direction of cos cob. Who the hell knows what it was planning to do there. I suppose you can’t expect an «artisan ice cream» truck to behave like the Good Humor van. And no one can deny they use fresh ingredients… i felt like i was chewing on a sprig of mint(in a good way). My only gripe would be that it almost tastes TOO homemade… like, your friend made it for a potluck or something. but i guess it isn’t such a bad thing to have an ice cream making friend. even if the bastard does charge you $ 4 a scoop.
