File U Fancy Nails

LOVED this place.
Coming from California where we have nail salons on every corner, it was difficult to find a legit place here.
I found File U Fancy and had to check it out. I have been bored with my acrylics and found French ombré on Pinterest. Hey girl heyyyyy!
Hoa killed it — her skill was spot on. She was fantastic and sweet as could be. LOVE my nails and I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Awesome place! They are very busy so try to call ahead! Even if you don’t have an appointment they try to fit walk ins into their schedule

I’m really disappointed. I’ve been coming here for a few years, but lately they’re so busy that they’re rushing through things and turning regulars away. Both my mom and I had bad experiences on separate occasions. My nails looked horrible, with uneven lengths and black bubbles in my gel polish. My mom was told she would have to come back later to get her brows done, even though she had an appointment. They are now all about quantity of customers they can fit in over the quality that customers receive. So sad, but I won’t be returning.

I visited this salon with a couple friends for the first time this afternoon. I’ll start off with the positives. The staff is very friendly, there are many polish colors to choose from, and they serve Mimosa’s. The negatives are, that the salon was way to hot. The pedicure chairs were all in terrible shape and very old! Thr staff informed my friends and I that every chair had some sort of michanical short coming. I had to be moved from one chair because the massage balls in the chair back wouldn’t move. They were stuck at the bottom, and wouldn’t retract when I shut off the massage feature. They continued to stick out and dig into my lower back causing some discomfort. I was moved to another chair, and the massage features didn’t work at all! I feel like the massage is half the pleasure of the pedicure so this was VERY disappointing. Also the pedicure was VERY basic, unless you wanted to pay $ 45 for the deluxe. With so many nail salons in the area, unfortunately I won’t be coming back.

Went there for my first time yesterday. Hoa did my nails. She’s up front about pricing which is always a plus. She takes her time and did just I wanted. I found my new nail tech!

Brought my two granddaughters in for kids mani pedi and myself a pedicure today.
After I arrived I was told that it would not be the kids price quoted of $ 20 but would be regular price. They said that kids price apply to one or two year olds, really?
After I complained, they did say they would honor the kids price, BTW, granddaughters are 9 and 11 with tiny little nails and non calloused feet.
But during the process the tech said that my one granddaughters feet, needed more work so I ended up paying $ 30 for her anyway.
I only did a pedicure. I get them every month truly one of the worst I’ve ever had did not clip my nails, heels still feel pretty rough.
First time and last time to the salon. With so many nail salons out there to choose from, I will go to another one.

I love this nail salon, everyone that works at this salon are so nice and know you by your first name. I was told by a co worker to go here. I see Micheal and he is FANTASTIC! I have never had nails done better then at File U Fancy Nails. I will continue to go here!

Tonight was my first time here. My bestfriend brought me here as a surprise.
I absolutely loved my experience… Michael did my shellac mani. & he did a wonderful job. He’s personable, detail oriented, holds a complete conversation. Just overall a great employee!
Everyone who walked in and out, he knew their name. What a wonderful way to be welcomed in by hearing your name and being greeted?! Loved that!
Their prices are super reasonable & the quality is great! They were super busy tonight but they fit us in right away & that was sweet!
They do offer free mimosas, tea.etc. which is a nice treat!
I’m here visiting but when I’m back in 4 months this’ll def. be a place I’ll HAVE TO stop by.

Everyone here is so nice, they definitely make an effort to get to know you and it’s clear they really care about customer service and making everyone happy. She could tell I had my nails done elsewhere previously and asked where, and then my appointment did take a while but my nails came out much better than the last place I’d gone to, so I’d say it’s worth it. This will be my new regular nail salon!

I really really enjoy this place. I’ve only had my nails done by Kat (cat?) but she does an amazing job! She will work with what you want, and she’s upfront about the prices and what she can and cannot do. She’s also a perfectionist so it takes a bit longer but your results are worth it!
Everyone here is super nice too. Complimentary beverages and they know you by name after the first visit.
I definitely recommend it! But make an appointment, they can be super busy.

It took me two tries to finally get in to do my pedicure. (For a walk-​in) The people were very pleasant and even if the nail tech beside you wasn’t working on you they’d check how you were doing.
They offered me a drink, which i nicely declined, but thought that was a nice plus to your service.
Only thing i can complain about was the size of the salon. VERY small and very cramped.

Always have an amazing experience I regret going to any other place I’m never satisfied anywhere else. But omgshhhh I’m in love with this place that’s for sure. Always get great service, and they have amazing customer service. Definitely best place. Give them a chance you will totally love it. I won’t be dumb and go somewhere else just because. Sticking to FILE U FANCY!

Offering free Mimosas is simply genius on their part. The staff was very friendly and talkative. I got a pedicure with my friend, and they did a great job. VERY affordable. I will definitely be back.

First time in the other day. Super busy which is a good sign! All the staff are super friendly and know you by name, I couldn’t believe they knew me by name already. I also got some free mimosas which was super duper nice of them. Cannot ask for s better nail place in Gresham, I am super satisfied!!!

Michael is great and very detailed but I just wished he painted closer to cuticle, I hate having a noticeable gap between my nail color and cuticle.
Overall I was satisfied with my gel mani.
I also loved the free mimosa… a nice touch!

Today was my first time to File you Fancy and I will be back! The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They offer you a free drink of choice, I got a mimosa! They will do any kind of nail design you choose and the prices are very responsible.

I came in today to get a manicure for the first time in almost a decade. The last time I got my nails done, it was a painful and scary experience. Manicurists can be intimidating sometimes.
When I came in I was welcomed and seated immediately. They offered me a mimosa or some tea. Kat did my nails. She was super friendly and patient. She knows how to have a conversation and when to let the conversation have some silence.
The price was good. The people were nice. I was going to hold off on reviewing this place until I came back a second time, but I really did enjoy myself. If I were a better conversationalist I would give it 5 stars, but I suck at talking…

I cannot express enough positivity about Kat (Cat?) and the crew at File U Fancy. I came in with my sister and mother for a mani/​pedi on Valentine’s Day scheduled as a gift by our husbands.
The first thing that stood out was the welcoming nature of the WHOLE team. An obvious effort was made to make us feel special and thought of. We were offered mimosas and constantly recognized for ANY «wait times» (which was never truly a wait in respect to how busy the shop was). It was clear that our time was respected even though we were on no time constraint.
Kat was a joy to converse with AND she did a spectacular job. She was so attentive to detail in bringing my requested nail design to fruition (matte base with a french tip in the same color). Her foot/​lower leg and hand massage was also quite lovely.
Another charming aspect of our experience was the sweet honesty of the entire staff and the apparent pride in their work. My mother, sister and I came as a gift from our husbands but we anticipate this will need to become a repeat experience (perhaps a monthly appointment) not only to spoil ourselves but to spend time with the entire shop at File U Fancy.

I really liked this nail place located in the heart of downtown Gresham. The staff was super friendly, the pedicures were a really good price and who can complain about free mimosas? I would definitely go back here again!

What a sweet little place this is. It’s a mom and pop shop or should I say mom, son and daughter inlaw.
They’ve got all the colors of the rainbow there for your nails.
The chairs are comfy and CLEAN. The whole place reeks of clean.
The customer service is to die for.
It’s off the beat just a little bit so don’t miss them. There are a ton of nail places within 10 feet and I do know that for a fact.
They also make a nice mimosa.
