History

Established in 1992.

Gresham Heating & A/​C was started in early 1992 by Loran Redfern and his wife Debbie with a little borrowed money a van and a vision. For quite a few years Loran and Debbie were the only people involved in the business until the late 90’s early 2000’s when the housing boom hit. At that point Loran took the small operation and moved into a larger new construction market. Since then The business has grown and matured and in 2011 following the early passing of Loran, the company was taken over by his oldest son Tyson.

In 2002 following graduation from Gresham High School, Tyson came to work for his father Loran, at Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning. Beginning his work in the new construction department of the company, during the trailing end of the 1990’s housing boom.

Tyson learned many of the skills that he would need to carry over into the retrofit applications where job difficulty can be substantially higher. For the first seven years at Gresham Heating and Air Conditioning Tyson worked in the installation department doing mostly retrofit after the housing market crashed in 2007, until 2009 when he was given the chance to explore sales.

It was not long after that when his father passed away from cancer and Tyson made the decision to take over management of the company. In 2014 Tyson decided to purchase the company, taking ownership of the company, and now building your preferred choice in heating and air conditioning service providers.
