Jiffy Lube

Holy smokes. Did not realize I would be preaching to the choir. Should have checked here first. Drove all the way in to get their ($ 28.99) oil change. Told the first guy I was there for simple oil change, nothing else. Very friendly and I waited quite some time, but no complaints there, I figure with waiting they were showing attention to detail. Finally got in and a couple guys started checking lights, and so on. A guy came and got me to check in. Told him I wanted synthetic blend oil and asked how much extra it would be. He proudly said no problem and it would only be $ 67.50. After I did CPR on myself and got my heart stabilized, I told them not to touch anything and they better not have drained my oil because I would not be robbed. Checked on prices at parts store for regular and FULL SYNTHETIC oil. Three whole dollars a quart. My car holds four and a half quarts. Even with this new dangled math that should only be an extra $ 13.50. Never ever again going there. As an after thought, I checked with ford service, they have a special $ 28.99 after $ 10.00 rebate and they check EVERYTHING.

Took my girlfriends car to get the oil changed here a couple days ago they brought me over to the computer and said do you want the synthetic oil and filter like she usually gets I said sure if that what she gets he said OK that’s going to be 67 $ That was a bunch of bs i said no way she never pays that just give me the regular oil. My girl said they were lying you should post on Unilocal.Last time we were there they said the rear wiper was worn I told them I just replaced it an hour ago and it had never even been used. This jiffy lube is very dishonest watch out for them. Almost forgot when I went in the first thing I said was give me a basic oil change which was 26 $ when they were done it was 37 $ signature change this place really sucks avoid them at all cost.

Decided to go to a larger town hoping to get better service and someone that knows what they are doing and cares… not.
Purchased the «Signature Service» and paid $ 61, completely dissatisfied and feel violated.
Power Steering Fluid filled — No
Windshield Washer Fluid filled — No
Windows cleaned — No
Vacuum — No
Reset oil change light — No
I was charged for a light bulb for the license plate but it was not changed.
Wiper blades are old and worn; did not offer to replace.
They forgot so many things how do I know the below were done?
Oil filter???
Tire Pressure ??
Transmission Fluid ???
Transfer case fluid ???
Antifreeze?
But they sure were willing to sell me a cabin air filter for $ 45, which I can get at the auto parts store for $ 15.

I was called by the regional manager and they did refund all my money… Sadly what should have been an easy transaction took way more time and effort than needed. Not worth the hassle or worry that my car may not have been serviced correctly.

Different crew members each time I visit. Today the crew was very slow and in relax mode, maybe after a long weekend of partying?
Have been getting my vehicles oil changed at this location for years but it might be time for a change.

Worst Customer Service and Services I’ve ever experienced, I’ve gone to jiffy lubes since I’ve been driving they claimed to change my oil and filter and put the old one back in that had a hole in it. i drove to Eugune when my engine light came on and my car shut off due to no oil in my car .I took it to a different juffy lube they showed me how the oil was draining out due to the way they put it back together and put the old one back in when I called Scott the manager he said there’s nothing they can do just bring it in and they’ll check it again.they. also had all the incorrect Information on my car due to a previous license plate number. I will never go back to anther Jiffy lube again and will be sure to let my friends and family know how they don’t care about there work and customers.

So I haven’t always had the best of luck/​service here in the past.
HOWEVER my faith has been restored.
The manager Curtis went above and beyond for my daughter and I on Saturday. I can’t thank him enough for his customer service and knowledge.
It was refreshing to get the care and service he provided.

Had the most horrible experience at Jiffy Lube Gresham today. To make a long story short I had a coupon that offered 10.00 off the basic 37.99 signature service. Now I’m no whiz at math but I think that’s 27.99. After some other weird stuff I presented the manager with my coupon. She said she was already taking 6.00 of HER basic price of 44.99??? So that brought it to…38.99. Then she said she would take off another 4 dollars to make it match the coupon of 10.00 off. That brought to 34.99. How is that 10.00 off 37.99? That would be 27.99. I finally told her to give me what the coupon said and I would leave and we could never do this again. She still charged me 44.99 and took 14.00 off to bring it to a final of 30.99. None of it made sense and I felt like this store was running on pure «What If.» I will never go to this location again and Jiffy Lube is going to have to step up at the corporate level for me to continue my using their services as I have for the last 20 plus years. I’m sending a package to corporate in TX in hopes of them looking into the practices of individual franchises and their price indifference’s. At this point anyone going to the Gresham Jiffy Lube on Burnside… watch your back. Make sure you ask what you will be charged for any specific service. If I see it right… that store is charging 44.99 for basic service. I will go to Sears or Valvoline from here on out if that’s the case. Problem is that Jiffy Lube, as far as I can see, has very different price structures from store to store and that’s really bad practice. Buyer beware…

So, this morning I found a mouse in my glove box — complete with a nest! I called everyone I could think of to help me with it (exterminators, AAA, ect) as a last ditch effort I tried the Jiffy Lube — and they helped me with it. They got me in fast, and I can’t tell you how relieved I am that they were able to help me with it. Thank you Jiffy Lube! I am a loyal customer for life now :)

Every time I go to this location, they always find something else wrong with my vehicle other than why I’m there. I get it. They are trying to make money. But when I go in, I don’t like them telling me I need a new air filter, when they just replaced it the last time I was in. Today, I went to get my oil changed after I took my kids to school. I was a half hour early getting there because they don’t open until 8. I sat there for about 10 minutes when 2 employees rolled up and went inside. I sat for another 20 minutes (which is no big deal because they weren’t supposed to open for that long). When they were finally open, I was approached by a woman who worked there, telling me her computer was all wacked out and she had no employees there, so it was going to be at least another ½ hour before they could actually open. I left and took my business to the 76 Express Lube in Fairview, and I was in and out in 20 minutes, and what do you know?! Everything looked great and I didn’t need any additional parts, and there wasn’t anything else wrong with my car! Amazing, isn’t it?!

I have mixed feelings about the Gresham Jiffy Lube. It’s either a hit or miss. The majority of the time I only come here for an oil change which they seem to do an okay job at. Also had them repair some chips on my windshield for a decent price. No problems so far. (Try and talk em down.) Don’t let em take advantage or manipulate you about getting something else!

I have rarely had problems with Jiffy Lube and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they vacuum out my car as part of the signature service… that is THE main reason I keep coming back. I do feel like they are always trying to sell me something «extra», but aren’t they all…

I went here for their rock chip repair — bad idea that’s for sure. I would go somewhere else.
Got wrong vehicle number, so i got a conference call for insurance and them arguing I had this wrong vehicle model. insurance people were saying i dont have it covered and im saying i dont even have that type of car. Very rude on the phone, wouldn’t listen to the fact that they had performed service on a different car when they wrote down wrong vin. After three phone calls they decided to talk to shop worker who confirmed I was right about what vehicle was serviced. Treated me like I was stupid and was in the wrong — very unprofessional.
In addition to the poor customer service after the matter the service itself was actually a good experience with one downfall. The chip was sealed perfectly and looked great, the technician was polite and nice, however the after math of the service was again below par. I had permanent smears left on my windshield from the epoxy they use, and also several little drops of epoxy on the window that had hardened up– they now look like little chips themselves when in fact they are glue. I could pick a few of them off with my nail but some of the others are there to stay sadly.
I will NEVER USE them again.
I wish they had a zero star I feel they were only worthy of 1 star because at least the chip is fixed its all the other problems that ruined this review for them

So, I have been going to this location for over a year, and have had some ok success, and bad experiences. I thought it would be easier than doing it myself, and with a small child, I was right. Butit ended up costing me a new engine.
I know there is no way they will ever admit it, but I ended up having to get a new engine for my Tacoma, after these idiots stripped out my oil plug without telling me. 2 days after hey changed my oil, my engine seized, destroying it on the freeway with my son in the truck. Apparently, according to a Toyota Master Tech, this is pretty common with these oil change places. BEWARE!!! And of course they claim no fault of their own.
So, long story short, STAY AWAY!!!
