Haha, to add to the poor service…
One of these employees sent me a message through this site calling me names and to complain about my reviews. Time to raise the bar on your hiring standards guys. I think we can do better than the local teens.

Not answering the phone all day on 3.26.15

Is it silly to write a review for an auto parts store? Nope, not after how I was treated today. I must’ve looked lost in the windshield wiper section, so the associate came over and promptly helped me out. He had them installed on my car before I had even paid. Thank you!

Went to Auto Zone for power steering fluid, they looked at me like I had a third head. Ended up at Knecht’s and received friendly helpful service. Will be back.

Had to get my battery changed. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Staff was very helpful and replaced my battery.

Today I went back to Knecht’s because my left brake light/​turn signal bulb was burned out. Up till now, I’ve always gone to my regular repair shop and had them change my bulbs, but after my huge success learning how to change fuses, I decided to try and change the bulb by myself, too.
First I got out my owner’s manual (I’m a quick learner!) and found what I needed to do to replace it. Armed with my trusty Phillips screwdriver (checked to see what kind I’d need to unscrew the lamp assembly when I got to Knecht’s), I headed into Gresham, parked in the lot and unscrewed the lamp assembly. And put the screws in a safe place, I might add.
The only thing my manual didn’t tell me was which bulb went to which light, so I went inside, and very helpful Gabe came out with me and checked. Out came the old bulb, Gabe found me a new one, and came out with me so that we could put the whole thing back together again. Voila! Done! It was 95 degrees in the sun, so I was glad it didn’t take very long.
I got extremely helpful service from both Gabe and Austin today. They were both awesome.
Another five stars for Knecht’s from Mokihana. Who knows what my next challenge will be, but if I can do it myself, I do know Knecht’s will be the place I head to for help.
