They did a fantastic job! I’m so impressed! They came in and got right to work. I’m not sure how they did it, but they got the soap scum stains out of the textured surface on my shower floor! I’ve tried everything on it and have never been able to get it that clean. Plus they got the black shoe polish stain out of my white grout counter top! Not only did they do a great job, they were able to come out the same day I called!
I highly recommend the Maid Brigade and will definitely use their service again.

We have been using these folks for quite a few years (twice-​a-​month cleaning) and they have never disappointed !! They are always quick to dig in, get it done and let me get on with chores I really do enjoy. The teams are always cordial, business-​like and ready with a smile. And always address any special needs or changes we might request. Of course, there has to be a dialogue (both parties) any time this occurs. Why some people expect that these folks are mind-​readers is beyond me!
In any case, I’m always quick to recommend this company. They are worth EVERY one of the stars available!
I’ve found that, to be a good consumer, you also have to remark on the great service you get when it comes along (not just when something doesn’t go your way).

When I notified Maids that I had trouble with their website, they quickly responded via email. The response was professional and courteous. They also responded on Unilocal with the same professionalism, letting me know the problem was temporary. Another try on my part, and I guess I’d have known that. I appreciated their time and courtesy. It’s clear that they care about their business. We have them at the top of the list next time!

I was not pleased with the service. Several key places were left unattended. Some trash bins not emptied. Windows are not even included in the service. I spoke with Greg, the manager, and explained my dissatisfaction with the service. It took me nearly an hour and a half to complete the clean after the service. Greg tried to justify his staff missing trash bins that blend in, why areas not directly inside the house were omitted (patio/​front door/​mudroom) and that most people don’t want their windows cleaned. I cancelled the service after the first routine clean. Greg offered a $ 25 refund for the $ 175 service I wasn’t satisfied with. Thanks Greg.

Terrible customer service. I was a long time customer of the company and finally complained one time about half done work. The least I expected was a phone call but instead received an email with $ 20 credit. You’ve got to be kidding me. What happened to customer service? When I emailed back that I was canceling future service they simple replied We’ve taken you off the roster. You can’t be serious. In more than five years of service this is the first time I had sent back the comment card with a negative response. They couldn’t care less!

I needed a rental move-​out cleaning. This was a 2 BR/​BA home we lived in for 3 years. Maid Brigade sent 3 people who worked about 3 hours. The home looked «hotel room» clean when they were finished. Thank you so much.

We had work done in our house, new ceilings, paint, ect, needless to say, we were desperate for a deep clean. I called Maid Brigade and Greg came out the same day to take a look at our house and to give us a quote.
Once we got that squared away, we scheduled their team to come out. They came out yesterday (3 people) and were here from 1 – 6! My house looks AMAZING! I get my house cleaned once a month, but no one has ever cleaned it like this! I have 3 kids and yes we have toys and stuff everywhere, well the team managed to find it all and find a place for it! The hard to get clean places (bathrooms) looked perfect! I couldn’t find one thing wrong and I tried! They vacuumed my furniture, I loved that! They just went the extra mile!
My experience from the office to the cleaning staff was great! I will be using them again! I called several company’s and they were all comparatively priced. Also Greg set up my carpet cleaning. One less hassle for me!!! Thanks!

i have been a regular (twice a month) client with MB for about five years now and am very appreciative of their staff’s strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
Our house is always in perfect condition after MB has been there, with fun little touches like cute toilet paper or kleenex designs and nicely folded guest towels in the bathroom.
MB is also very accommodating with changing days or adding on extra items.
Also very much appreciate that they use green cleaning products-​house never smells bleachy or chemicaly.

Have been using Maid Brigade for over a year now and they are wonderful! They were flexible in creating my schedule, and are very consistent in doing a great cleaning job each time. They use «green» products so there’s no chemical aroma and it’s safe for our pets. They always leave a card asking for feedback and they call immediately if there are any comments they want to know more about. In other words, they genuinely care about providing the best cleaning service each and every time. I feel very safe with them in my home, and love coming back to a clean place! I highly recommend Maid Brigade.

I highly recommend you go with an actual cleaning service like Maid Brigade rather than someone you find on Craigslist. They’re professional, are consistent and have employees that you can trust in your house while you’re not home. And, they’re just really nice!

I have been using Maid Brigade for about 4 years now. They have always shown up at the promised time, and do a really good job in cleaning my two-​bedroom home. I have MS and am not able to do a very good job myself, so their help is invaluable to me. Their rates have always been as quoted, and if I need any extra services provided they are always ready and willing to do them, for a reasonable amount. My crew is normally 2 – 3 people. I guess it just depends on who they have scheduled??? At any rate, they are always hard at work (no gabbing or loafing around), and it usually takes about 1 ½ hrs. to do my home. If ever I find a task that was not done to my satisfaction, or see cobwebs that I had hoped they would catch, etc., they are most anxious to make it right. Each time they come to clean, they leave a satisfaction card for me to fill out and send back. Almost all of the time, I find their work to be excellent. They have meetings each morning to discuss that day’s appointments, making sure that everyone is briefed on your specific home. A very few times, they have had minor accidents and broken a few small items. They have ALWAYS brought it to my attention immediately, and Sarah in the office, is always ready and willing to work with me, either by replacing the item, or giving me extra cleaning time at no extra charge. I am quite pleased with them, and feel that they truly do care about their customer’s satisfaction. The crews are always friendly and quite courteous. I plan to use Maid Brigade for many years to come!

Maid Brigade is amazing. They have been cleaning our house for 2 years now, and its not only a great, trustworthy and flexible house cleaning service, but reasonable priced. They come and do our house, top to bottom once every two weeks and it has made my relationship with my wife better. It takes the pressure off our house cleaning and is a great feeling to come home to a clean house.
They are flexible with our schedule (summer time sleeping kids), great with our dog, and thorough.

We have used Maid Brigade for the several years – originally to help during my recovery from surgery & then just ’cause it is so wonderful to come home to a sparkling clean home! Maid Brigade is so flexible & responsive to our needs & requests. And they always ask for feedback –which we give. We love the products they use – no heavy aroma. They do an amazing job.

When we moved to Portland, we tried a couple of other cleaning services first, but were turned off by their uneven work. Maid Brigade came through in spades, and we’ve been clients of theirs for more than three years. Their scheduling is flexible, they’re friendly & fast, but most of all, the cleaning is thorough and consistent. Any requests we’ve made, they’ve accommodated immediately. They ask for feedback via postcard after every cleaning and any time we haven’t given them a full five stars, they call to find out exactly why not, and they work to fix whatever we want changed. They also have an excellent «my mom is coming to visit» level of detailed cleaning that knocks your socks off. I like that it’s generally the same crew who come every time, too. I don’t know if they’re pricey or not; they were certainly in the ballpark of the other two services we tried first.

Maid Brigade sends out a team of cleaners to my home every other week. They are very thorough and efficient, but I have tried several other cleaners in the past and have found that they clean good for a couple months and then start getting lax. Maid Brigade consistently cleans perfectly each time they come, they have been cleaning for me for about a year and a half. If there is a question or a problem, they have great communication and call me while still at my house to resolve it. They are extremely professional and trustworthy. As far as the cost goes, you get what you pay for, I would rather pay a little more and get the job performedright. The cleaners I paid a little less, I found I was cleaning up after them and getting frustrated, that never happens with Maid Brigade, they are awesome!

These guys did a fantastic job of cleaning my studio apartment in NW Portland prior to a move-​out. They sent a team of three, showed up when they said they would, and were very thorough in their cleaning. They were pretty pricey ($ 238 + tip) but worth it to me in terms of not having to deal with the hassle.

I requested an estimate online only to get an email requsting that I call Mike to get this. When on a short work break I called for Mike but was told he was unavailable but the guy who answered offered to help. I explained that I was hoping to get a very general estimate & that one had not been provided after my internet inquiry. He took quite some time to find my information and then more silence while he «went over my information». After a long wait, I expressed my frustration with the time that was being taken. (This was why I used the internet in the first place) I restated that what I was requesting was a ballpark figure to know if I can even remotely afford their services before going forward. He said he wouldn’t waste any more of my time and thanked me for calling before hanging up… without giving me a quote or putting me through to Mike as I had asked!
An email to Mike explaining the above received only the following response.
«Thank you for the information. We will consider this in the future. Sorry for the frustration.»

Received a quote today — first cleaning, $ 250-​$ 325, then every other week for $ 139 per visit. This for a new, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that is currently being cleaned every other week. Apparently, I am in the wrong business — $ 75 per hour to clean houses? This service has been elevated to an extreme luxury here in Portland. Sheesh!
