This place is absolutely amazing! Their tacos are to die for and the service is great! Their happy hour is also great!

The food is okay. I got the trifecta plate of the tacos were all adobada. And I took leftovers home which was nice. I probably wouldn’t go here again for food but only for drinks.

Found this place on groupon, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the Trifecta, with chicken, adobado and carnitas tacos, and they were incredible! The meat was all seasoned to perfection, these were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I will definitely come back, this place is a hidden gem in downtown gresham.

Way overpriced, food was not very good, surprise added pricing for red sauce on top of burrito. Service was absolutely horrible. I will not be coming back

I recommend the chips and dip for starters. $ 2.50 for a big plate and yummy sauce. The red sauce is awesome. the verde is a little tart… mix the two together and it’s AMAZING. The chips themselves are thick cut torilla chips that a more haed and crunchy than light and crispy. I got the trifecta with the spicy carnitas. They are amazing tacos. the spice is a wonderful flavorful spice that isnt enough to kill you, but definitley packs some heat that builds with every bite. Good blackberry margarita and a nice atmosphere overall. They were out of quite a few things when we went in around 10:30pm(the restaurant closes at 9 but the bar is open till 1am and you can still order from the full menu) so that was a bummer. We were originally going to try the chicken chiptle quesadilla and the trifecta with the abodaba but they were out of both. But what we did get to try was great and we will totally be back!

There is a restaurant upstairs and a lounge downstairs. Both areas serve the same menu. I ordered 3 tacos, beans, and rice thinking there would be minimal meat like at other places I’ve been to and I was pleasantly surprised. The servings are huge! There was enough meat to make another couple tacos. The happy hour menu is decently priced as is the regular menu. The lounge had a few TVs, pool table, darts, and a super Nintendo. A SUPERNINTENDO! Our server was attentive and they didn’t rush us out the door once we were done which is a huge plus.

If you are thinking of yummy refried beans tostada or a shredded beef enchilada?.. this is not the place for you. Salsa is mediocre, guac the same. This is a place for foodies liking new options. They only offer? black beans, pork or chicken. New taste, like pineapple on pork carnitas. Not your typical Mexican.

I have driven by Uly’s many times, not realizing there was a restaurant in the building. I assumed Uly’s was only a bar. The Oregon Lottery sign is more prominent on the building than the sign for the establishment. I am writing to say don’t miss this place! I stumbled across Uly’s while searching Groupon for Gresham digs. And then there were the great reviews on Unilocal. We dined during happy hour. Great selection of tasty food and the portions are huge. Our food was delicious, hot, and fresh. The burritos are gigantic. I got a «bowl» with rice, black beans, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. The addition of guacamole was smart but next time I will ask for sauteed veggies to be added and maybe tomatoes. I would love to see tofu or tempeh options on the menu. Top food though. The restaurant has a cool and comfortable interior and is clean. The wait staff are super nice. Can’t wait to dine here again!

This place is so bomb. Friends and I went in there twenty minutes before closing(we didn’t know) but they seated us graciously. Leilani was our server and it was the best service I’ve had in awhile, due in part to her awesome, easy personality. A group of 8 arrived 20 minutes before closing and a single waitress had margaritas and food coming in no time. The burritos… WOW the burritos. It’s like a 5 or 6 pound burrito. I’m not joking. Very generous portions. I got the Macho Burrito and added French fries(they put them inside the burrito) after a long, hungry day floating the river. Everything inside the burrito was very fresh– chicken was fragrant, the black beans weren’t mushy, and the guacamole was LEGIT. Go there now.

It is ok. They trick you when you walk in, when they ask you if you want chips and salsa be aware they charge for this. I had the taco’s which are good but way too much dry meat. Could use more veggies. Hubby had the quesadilla, he was not to happy. Also they don’t give an option for refried beans just black, which again is a charge. This place is a bit spendy for Mexican food.

SERVICE3.5; it was good. Super friendly. Forgot things here and there but the happy atmosphere made up for it. DRINKS3; We ordered the classic margaritas, had lots of fresh citrus flavor. Prices were standard $ 6.50 for the pint size glass. FOOD1… The portions are large but lack flavor. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa($ 2 for bottomless good deal). The food just taste like boiled meats… I had the Al Pastor bowl, but it lacked the ‘pastor’ flavor; looked and tasted like boiled pork belly. The beef burrito was a hefty size, but also lacked seasoning. Will return for the drinks if we’re in the area, but not the food.

Biggest. Burritos. Ever. You get a lot of food for just a bit of money. Chips and salsa and beans — good. My burrito had pineapple and pork, rice beans cheese and salsa. And it was — DELICIOUS. The service was good, friendly, and I would definitely go back. I might ask for them to go a bit lighter on the rice inside the burrito, but that is about it. Yum!

I was a huge fan of the tacos themselves, however, everything else was mediocre including the service. Rice was dry, beans tasted funky, guacamole lacked seasoning and was overly limey and even my water had a strange taste to it. Like I said though the tacos were very good and packed full of meat. My wife wasn’t a huge fan of the tacos but that’s because she prefers less meat and more veggies. The place was very understaffed but that didn’t seem to bother the server and I don’t mean that in a good way. Overheard her with another customer saying that they always have only one server on Sundays but implied it was good for her tips and keeps her busy. I’m sorry but if you can’t keep up, your tips will go down as a percent even if your sales are higher and you will lose guests over time. The guy that came in and sat next to us sat over ten minutes before even getting a «hi». By the time she did you could tell he was frustrated. The server forgot our chips and guacamole that we had ordered. We had to remind her after we saw chips and salsa go out to a few tables that came in after us. She did end up comping it but it would have been nice to have it as an appetizer and not at the same time as the meal. Everything came out close to 30 minutes after our order was placed– long wait for a few tacos and some beans and rice. Looked like there was only one cook in the back. Overall it was alright but probably wouldn’t return.

Food was awesome, and their servings are huge. Not two things that generally go together. I had the chipotle chicken quesadilla, my wife had one of the burritos. Let’s keep in mind that this was listed as the regular size burrito… It was bigger than MYFACE. That made ms curious about their«Giant» burrito. Must be huge?! I love local, small eateries and this fits that for me. If you are into that, this is the place for you!

Burrito me! Oh? It comes with sweet potato fries, slow cooked pork, and pineapple and rolled together? Yes, please, I’ll take that one. Pool and full bar downstairs. Diablo fries are a must if you like spicy. Large proportions… you’ll be stuffed :)

So, I went in the other day on a regular thursday afternoon with two of my friends and was baffled by the service. I seriously didn’t even get to taste the food. When I got there they made us wait for about 10 – 15 minutes, when the place was almost empty. It was absolutely ridiculous. Then what came next is what REALLYPISSEDMEOFF. After that stupid long wait to just be sat, a group of about 4 – 6 people came in and the lady sat them immediately. Right in front of us. THEYREALLYHADTHEAUDACITYTODOTHISTOUS. I am most likely never coming back to this place. They need to learn how to treat their customers, because they’re going to keep losing them with the way they run things now.
