US Post Office

I am horrified by how many of my packages go missing or delayed with no accountability.

If would be nice if competence were part of the customer service we should be getting .
Whenever they put a sub on a route, we don’t get our mail and they don’t seem to care .
I have called but but to no avail.
Hey post office, when you put a sub on route six, put someone on that knows what they are doing… getting tired of missing mail and having to call around for it.

UPS or FedEx all the way! There is a reason the USPS runs at a massive quarterly deficit. Because they are incompetent and incapable of running a mail service efficiently and profitably. The workers here are angry & bitter especially the crazy rude black lady at the service counter, the mouth on her will stun you. I will never ever ever ship a package through USPS again after my most recent experience here. Its actually cheaper to send most packages through FedEx or UPS so why even come here to stand in their obnoxiously long lines to receive disgruntled shitty service from an angry woman with a chip on her shoulder. This place needs to be privatized and crazy black woman needs to be fired (without severance) along with anyone who shares her ideals and thoughts on proper customer service. What because you are federally protected you need to treat every customer like a hostile witness or someone you are interrogating. Ever wonder why there are so many cameras INSIDE a post office? Thats because they hire thieves to work there. USPS has a crazy high shrink rate which they have to closely monitor with dozens of security cameras. Hope you feel safe and confident sending your packages here because your packages ARE NOT SAFE FROM THESE THIEVES.

Man… post offices have changed… this place has demonstrated basically everything wrong with the u.s. government and human society in the footprint of a single post office building. I decided to get a p.o. box at some point… things went well until our mail started getting lost and rerouted… employees were dismissive and abusive… ask about your mail enough and they’ll threaten you instead of helping. The postmaster couldnt care less about customer service, the individual is unapologetic and narcissistic with no regard for people’s personal property. I finally called a month after closing my p.o. box, after things we’re being returned to senders (most of my stuff is e-​pay) the supervisor I spoke to called me ‘weird’ for being concerned about the whereabouts of my mail… which is peculiar… then proceeded to tell me they didn’t know, as if that was an acceptable answer, that I was harassing the post office… and then hung up on me. I called five minutes later and a reasonable employee picked up… told me what I was asking was no big deal and changed my address over the phone without insulting me and threatening me, she also didn’t verify any of my personal information which was odd… regardless, she was professional, and didn’t feel a bizarre need to be awful — because correcting the issue had always been simple, so simple… Anyway no harm no foul, hopefully my mail comes to my house and I never have to deal with another us post office. Ide rather spend 5 hours with my face pressed up against Mike Huckabee’s grundle then spend another month dealing with these people. Side note: You know who won’t abuse you? Basically every other mail carrying service. I would agree with one of the other reviewers in offering the staff advice… if you don’t like your job, or you hate people, find something to make you happy, life goes by in a flash and you best want to waste it.

A necessary evil. I really despise coming here, but with family (relatives and inlaws alike) all around the world, we find ourselves in here once we stop neglecting our loved ones because we’re avoiding the chaos of the post office. I’m glad they have the kiosk for smaller packages. Saves a lot of trouble. I can’t say I’m ever impressed with the pricing on international shipping. We sent some cashmere scarves to some cousins and an aunt in Israel and the shipping actually cost more than the scarves by quite a bit. Sending gifts to the mom-​in-​law an sis-​in-​law in Canada gets to be excruciating. But like I said, it’s a necessary evil.

It’s a post office. You know what to expect: workers who just want you to get in, do your business (but make sure you’ve filled out all the paperwork for your parcel correctly or they’ll make you feel like an ass) and then get out.
I only gave it two stars because of the few times I’ve been there the staff people look like they’d rather be paid to stare at a wall than interact with people.
My one advice to you, Gresham postal workers: IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB OR THE PUBLIC, DO SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.

The people that works at this post office are rude and lazy. I had to pick up a package at the post office with a tracking number. The lazy told me she can’t find it. she didn’t even bother really looking for it. So i drove all the way there for nothing.
The next day I called and spoke with a supervisor and found out the whole time my package was in the post office. wtf? It really piss me off when worker don’t do their job.
one time, The mailman gave my neighbor’s package in my box. and lost my package somewhere else. Until I called and trying to track it down. THey finally found my package misplace in someone else’s box. wow. seriously people that works for this post office really messed up stuff.
the supervisor is very rude on the phone. when I explained my situation to him, he just said” This is not a perfect world”. He shows no sympathy for all the mistakes those employees made. what a jerk.

I haven’t been to this post office in years and while it’s not as shiny as it once was, it’s still a great stop.
I walked in at 1pm today and the line was almost out the door. I almost bolted from the room. However, I noticed that all windows were fully staffed and the line moved quickly which is in direct contrast to the post office I normally frequent.
There is a selection of greeting cards that you can peruse while you are in line. This was particularly handy as I was in the market for a birthday card.
When I got up to the counter the postal worker gave me a coupon to use immediately on the card for half off of my purchase. Wow! What service I thought. Then she gave me a coupon to take with me to use on my next purchase.
This was great customer service. It seems like the postal service is taking a nod from non government businesses and is starting to value customer service. That’s probably a good thing given their current balance sheet.
