Our focus at Electrical Maintenance Professionals is service work. We able to respond quickly for any electrical need or problem, ensuring a service technician is on call, ²⁴⁄₇. Also, since we turn down construction projects (ie: new buildings or large remodels) this enables us to maintain availability for our customers. We enjoy servicing new business owners and homeowners, but find it satisfying when we develop ongoing relationships with our clients. All EMP electricians are experienced, qualified troubleshooters.

History

Established in 2006.

We service San Luis Obispo county and the northern half of Santa Barbara county. We are locally owned and operated by a staff dedicated to providing reliable & quality service. Electrical Maintenance Professionals is licensed, bonded, and insured. EMP does Residential, Commercial, and Industrial work. All of our work carries a one year, unconditional warranty. We pride ourselves on being helpful and accessible to all our clients. We are committed to our neighbors on the central coast. EMP sponsors several Adopt-​A-​Highway areas of SLO county on HWY 101. Some of our employees regularly perform pro bono services for places of worship, and dis-​advantaged senior citizens. A few also volunteer in community outreach programs.

Business Owner

Terrence Flatau: Owner of Electrical Maintenance Professionals, established 2006.

With 23 years electrical experience, was apprenticed by a multi-​national corporation, on a six year apprenticeship program. Trained in a maintenance shop of a large, factory. The focus was primarily on troubleshooting in an industrial and commercial setting, with regular remodel projects of offices, and production departments. The last ten years been mostly performing service calls in residential and commercial settings. (On a personal note, I have been married for 18 years, have two adorable girls, and two faithful basset hounds).
