This cute and understated Haddonfield shop is the newest location for this chocolatier whose family has been in the business since the 1920’s. The aroma upon entering the space was pure cocoa essence, which made a purchase almost inevitable. The sparsely decorated and uncluttered sales floor houses 2 display cases and just a few other items(choc covered apples and figurines are among them) Prices are clearly listed on a sign, if memory serves the majority of items are $ 17 a lb or less. This is not overly pricey for handmade candies. We selected about a lb of assorted pieces, and were offered samples of anything we desired. I just tried one pumpkin spice caramel and felt that further tasting was not required, these are good sweets. My favorites after picking through the box were the various caramels, cashew turtle, and peanut butter meltaways. I hope this shop does well here, in an old school town like this, an old school chocolate artisan should be appreciated. 4 theobromine Unilocal
