Visiting Maui from San Diego, CA with my sister and my daughter. This place was amazing the views were BEAUTIFUL! 7 different lines with fun climbs and small hike it’s an adventure I wouldn’t want to miss… The crew are absolutely fabulous & hilarious they had us laughing the entire time! If your looking for a fun day adventure definitely worth every penny!

Dominick gave my family the confidence we needed to soar! You really should request him by name if you are in the mood for serious fun. My youngest can’t stop talking about his experience «flying» and asks when we can go again. Highly recommended if you are in the mood for something besides the beach in Maui.

We went here for my Birthday and it was SO MUCH FUN!
I am terrified of heights and this was like the top 10 experience of my life. They guys were also ridiculously fun. And they helped me relax through all of my fears and worries and we came out with some AMAZING photos. People who gave this anything other than 5 stars are just cray cray because Hannibal is actually kind of my hero now!

Excellent experience all around. The zip-​lining course was super fun (I was a first timer) — great for an adult or child. Hannibal, Shark, Butter and Honey Badger were knowledgeable attentive and fun. Hannibal and Shark and Butter kept the jokes rolling the entire course making the whole group at ease and laughing away. The safety lecture was chock full of energy and jokes — helping those guests nervous about ziplining. My 9 year old daughter had a great time and made fast friends w the guides. They were very kind to my 13 year old (as well as to my pocketbook) as she has a fear of heights and allowed her a trial zipline to see if she was up for going the full course (she backed out of rest of course). Photographer there was excellent capturing beautiful shots. Would definitely return. Should have brought my 6 year old.

Our hotel, the Ritz Carlton, booked us on this trip because they get a fat commission from Northshore Zipline. We found this out after a disaster.
The hotel told us to leave with about an hour to spare — it took us well over two hours. We were on the phone with a Northshore employee the whole time, telling us we would get there on time based on where we were. Then when we got there, they said we had missed it by 15 minutes and they would not take us out.
The owner said «oh you were talking to an employee who didn’t know what she was talking about, she should have told you not to come.»
Their solution was not to get our family out on the course, but to offer us a makeup session a few days later, when we were already booked to leave Maui.
So we ended up burning an entire day of our vacation.
We went to Maui Zipline the next day, they were great.

There are so many zip lines to choose from, but we took a chance on this one and had a blast! Loved the beautiful drive to upcountry. Amazing views from the platforms too. Don’t worry about bringing your camera, they have a terrific photographer who can capture your glee as you zip by. Our fearless leaders, Hannibal and Wingnut, were funny and took great care of us. When I come back I’m gonna go again!

My family and I went zip lining today. They were awesome. Very safety conscious and lots of fun at the same time, with individual attention! My family and I loved it. We will be back next time. Highly recommended them!

First time zip line with my daughter! Both of us loved it !! Will go zip line again there and wherever!! the guides were very helpful, friendly and informative! The zip line is very kid and adult friendly!!! would recommend it for family with kids

We had a great time on this adventure. Guides were super fun and entertained 3 hard to please teenagers. Beautiful scenery in the back country of Haiku. Their photographer captured fantastic photos (extra $ 10 pp for CD). I’m a bit afraid of heights and the crew made me feel very safe. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff, but if you’re like me and was hoping for an adventure and beautiful views you may want to save your money. $$$$ The zip lines were for the most part «itty bitty,» and you stood in line waiting for your turn most of the time. At least we got some fun pics

Since when do other people get to decide that you’re not having fun? I was having fun until the last Zipline. Hannibal kept yelling at me to let go of the strap so I would lean backwards. I have a bad back from a car accident and I didn’t want to lean back. He said that if I didn’t lean back he would spin me around. Before I knew it, he spun me around a few times and pushed me. My hand is sore, red, and bruised from getting twisted around the harness. I don’t like to spin either. I get dizzy very easily! And I’m not a wimp. I’ve been bungy jumping, I scuba dive and I spear huge fish. I just have a bad back and don’t like getting dizzy or getting my hand injured. They said that they just wanted me to have fun. Well I was having fun until they decided that I wasn’t having fun unless I let go or got spun. Not cool, not cool at all. Some people are chill and just because I wasn’t feeling cray cray didn’t mean i wasn’t having fun. They should stop bullying people around!
Also– the ziplines are just over some cow pastures. Not very exciting at all.

I would not recommend this place if asked. I have been to other places on Maui and this place pales in comparison. Why?
Well, the zip lines are short and low to the ground. 7 zip lines in about an hour but two of them were really really short. The guides here were obnoxious (Hannibal more than The other guy). Hannibals jokes were not funny. I am all for good offensive comedy but this was a little much.
At times we felt rushed through the lines… A couple of people (including my wife) were shoved around the platform and the guides were rude at times.
I doubt I would come back here … Other places may be a little more expensive but the extra $$ was definitely worth it.

It was AMAZING!!! The staff is supper cool and funny! You will have the best time ziplinning!

My daughters and I used this company to zip line while in Maui. We loved the tour guides, Goldilocks, Robin Hood and the main guy, i forget his name. They were all very helpful, friendly and entertaining. My younger daughter who is 8 and 70 lbs was able to zip line alone, I’m glad because lots of places back in L.A. would’ve asked us to go tandem. The cost for all 3 of us was reasonable. I would definitely do this again and I highly recommend it.

The guides here made everything incredibly fun, but ultimately, the location was a bit of a turn-​off.
First, the guides: My family and I had Dominic and Hannibal. If you’re easily offended, they’re not for you, but otherwise they’ll make things a lot of fun and push you to try different things during your zip, such as doing a trust fall backwards off the platform.
The location: My family wanted to go ziplining after an excellent tour a few years ago in the middle of a large forest on Kauai. Our guides on the previous tour really made a point of teaching us about the plants and animals we saw, which made it really interesting. NorthShore is located on an old army base from WWII, so most of the area has been cleared of trees: you’re largely zipping over wide open fields. You are up higher on the island, so you can see out to the ocean, but ultimately, it felt like something I could do at home in Arizona for much less money.
Lastly, pictures: They really discouraged us from bringing phones to take pictures. Instead, there was a «wedding quality photographer» who took pictures of each person on each of the last three lines. The pictures definitely came out well, but it was very pricey– $ 10 per person to burn the images to a CD. We bought it because we’re suckers.

First timers to ziplining and we had the best time ever. Dude and Pirate were our guides and they made it so much fun. Their location is upcountry so it was nice to see the beautiful landscape and views from up top. I would recommend Northshore Ziplining to everyone. It really is an awesome experience.

Hannibal and Heisenberg are awesome guys, professional yet stand up comics, they’ll keep you laughin your butt off and you’ll forget all about your possible 100 foot plumit to your demise lol but seriously these guys are amazing, class acts, keep you safe and entertained, highly recommend you check these guys out it was so much fun! We did 7 lines in under 2hrs. Super effecient and fun so we didn’t have to spend the whole day in the trees, wow it was fun, we’ll be back and suggest you do the same!

Thank you Maui north shore zipline for showing me and my bf to do your tour. Great kamaiana discount in August of last year. It was my first time doing it including my bf. We had a family, a couple, and a mother and daughter on our tour. At the beginning, we got suit up with the safety harness and helmets and off we went. The first point, we were taught how to stop and drop down the line. Basics of ziplining. Then, we went up the wooden walk way to first zipline post. This one wasn’T as fast but it was a good start. The next couple ziplines got a little higher much more cooler than the first one. The last zipline went 45 mph and was much longer line. All they had was a wooden stopper to stop us as we each went down the line. The most scary part of this last line was that we had to climb a 7 foot ladder. It looked sketchy but I made it to the top of the post. I’m grateful I did the entire zipline tour especially with my bf who is afraid of heights. He proved me wrong by doing the tour. Sorry man for making you do it with me but you are brave :) with the discount, I paid $ 126 for both of us. It was $ 61 for locals. Otherwise it was $ 128 for person if you are not a Hawaii resident. Thank Maui for having some discounts for us locals or I probably wouldn’t go ziplining. In addition, you can have your photos taken by one of staff there while you ziplining. It cost $ 20 for the cd of photos for each group. My bf had a go pro that he was hoping to use during the entire tour or most of it but the darn thing died out when we were starting the first zipline :(sad but we both enjoyed it. My first trip to maui was a success. Holy moly for the great views of this old camp site during the world war time.

Seeking for an adventure on the island? Well, we were! After going through all the travel brochures we came across, we finally settled on going ziplining and booked through the Expedia booth on Front Street in Lahaina. It cost us about $ 100 per person no matter what the age was. With that said, anyone from 5 – 99 years old are welcome here.
Plan to arrive half an hour before your scheduled time for registration and a quick overview. Closed shoes are strongly recommended. Other than that, prepare to have some fun! The crew we had consisted of Shark, Hannibal, EZ, and Dantes the dog, AKA Trailblazer. These guys were hilarious and I think half of the fun we all had were because of them.
From the 7 zips, one is just a trial or they like to call it «boot’s» camp. All the rest are not extremely high but high enough for those who have a fear of heights to feel anxious. Then again, with a team so great and with all the harness gear you have on, there’s really nothing to fear. Expect to walk on some wired bridges, high platforms, and climb up a pretty steep ladder. Just before us was a group with an old lady in her 70’s. If she can do it, then you can, too!
Why the 4 stars? So the germaphobe in me just cannot forgo the smelly helmet and gloves that everyone needs to wear. Unfortunately, these are not sanitized after each use. The odor and texture was just off-​putting. I’m not being a diva or anything but imagine the sweat from someone else touching your skin for a good 2 hours? Bring your own helmet and gloves if you can, you’ve been warned!
For picture purposes, they have their own camera guy snapping photos which will be for purchase afterwards, but if you want to bring your own, it’s really doable. I was able to snap pics and take videos while on the zip. So awesome!
