Manager

I was raised on Maui. I believe that the island lifestyle that we live is NoKaOi. Here at Wailele Farm, Twin Falls Maui, we appreciate and value the natural beauty that surrounds us. We grow lots of plants. Different varieties of bamboo, bananas, sugarcane, lilikoi, avocado, plants native to Hawaii, all grow here on our farm. I enjoy working every day outdoors. I enjoy working with people from all over the world. I am happy with my lifestyle and day to day activities.

The banana bread is dry — don’t waste your time buying this (Aunty Sandys is the place to stop on the road to Hana).
The cut pineapple ($ 6) is a decent deal given how difficult it is to cut pineapple, how expensive maui grown pineapple seems to be on the island and the fact the bag they give you has 1⁄3 to ½ of a pineapple in it.

On the Road to Hana at the first stop for the Twin Falls. It doesn’t hurt to grab some fresh coconut or a freshly made smoothie for the hike up to the falls. Everything is grown there and 100% organic.

Not sure what all the hype is. The Unilocal reviews makes this place into a must stop. It really isn’t. Just another fruit stand that charges a lot. The drinks were not impressive and tasted like any other juice bar. I guess if you’re in Maui, you may get caught up with the Hawaiian experience.

One of the cleaner fruit stands on the Road to Hana, this stand is a simple trailer with fresh-​off-​the-​farm fruits including coconut, and passion fruit. We ordered a coconut for water, and the attendant offered us some coconut for eating to try. We also grabbed a few passion fruits and gobbled them up there as well. I picked up some dried coconut candy as a souvenir.
This is a good spot to stop, mainly because it’s in front if the entrance to three falls (at least one of which you can swim in). Also the farm is reputable, as Mr. Pineapple (the island’s airport fruit pack-​and-​ship go-​to) recommends and orders from this farm as well.
This is the last «nice» fruit stand on the Road to Hana for about 2.5 hours. Stop and grab a bite!

DO NOT STOP!!! at this little stand. You will be tempted bc it is the first stop but beware, it is a TOTAL rip off. The local white guy working here changes the prices based on the customer. Our prices were 5x that of our friends. So sad that someone would take advantage of young people on vacation. My advice, save your money for the honest hard working ppl selling fruit and treats up the road in Hana. (the prices in Hana are great and the treats are much better) You will get so much more for your money and won’t have to deal with people like this shop owner.

Looking for the Garden of Eden, looking for the Garden of Eden… back and forth — passed this farm stand several times before stopping and having a refreshing fresh coconut water from the young coconut, some eating coconut and a fresh pressed sugar cane drink… and asking for directions.
Unilocal showed the Garden of Eden BEFORE this farm stand… it is not. But we’re glad for the error.
Stop here on the Road to Hana before you get too deep in the switchbacks and one lane bridges — you’ll be glad you did.
We did not go back into the falls area, so can’t comment on that but make sure you make the stops on the Road to Hana and you’ll see plenty of falls.

This little bus run by a friendly local rocked!
This is a must stop if you are going off to Hana. Grab a pineapple banana smoothie for $ 4 and a banana bread for the same. The bread was moist and tasty, loaded with nuts too. Then enjoy a walk behind the stand to the waterfalls. The closer waterfall is fuller and easier to get to. The Twin is another 10 minute walk uphill. When you get there its so peaceful and serene. I wouldn’t recommend swimming in it though. We brought towels but it was murky and rocky. They need better signage for the Twin Falls, there are signs that are faded away. Luckily we picked the right path and found it.
Either way this review is for the farm-​stand mainly that was one of a kind. Also, grab a bag of coconut chips for the car. They are so delicious and addicting!

If you are up for a walk, then proceed. The Falls are located at the very end of the trail. Even then you will need to walk through the stream to get to the Falls. Be very careful where you step. It’s quite slippery. Just make sure you have the proper shoes on.
The entry to the Falls is actually on the way to Hana. You won’t miss it because there is a stand right in front of the entrance. There is no entrance fee.
So, I would like to comment on the snack/​fruit stand. It’s a mystery to me why people are paying so much for a fresh coconut. I was curious enough to purchase one. It was quite expensive given that it’s from a stand and a common commodity in Hawaii. The coconuts at the local farmer’s market is just as fresh and cost less.

I still cannot quite figure out if the coconut I purchased there was actually from the park itself. I wonder where the woman at the stand is getting her supplies…
Recommendation:
See it and plan to be there for at least half an hour.
Where comfortable shoes.
Be prepared to get wet if you decide to get very close to the water fall.
Skip the stand. It’s a tourist trap.

Twin Falls Farm Stand is a must stop on your way to Hana. Not only can you buy fresh pineapple chunks and fresh-​pressed sugarcane juice, but they make killer pineapple/​banana smoothies. Once satiated, head past the stand to the trail head and take a 20 minute hike to a waterfall/​lagoon and enjoy a swim. Bring a towel and get there early.
