Thanks a lot for telling me you are closed 15 min before actually do to take my order. Your apology is a insult to me and other customers. Also my pizzas with extra cheese on deliveries to my home is always messy with cheese everywhere after I already told you to have it rest 5 min before delivering it. I guess you didn’t my take customer service or business seriously. For that I will go take my business somewhere else which I ordered from you 3 days a week. Your chicken cheese steaks are great but not that good to be treated like sh it. You lost a customer for life and I never coming back. Seriously I’m not.

Stopping in here after more that 15 years sure brought back some memories. It didn’t matter that the interior is completely different after being rebuilt post fire. The owner and chef Vincent is still in residence, and one of my favorite treats was still in prominent display, their zeppolis. I feel old when I think back on my teen years spent here playing the hot new games, Pac man or Defender. Even then we didn’t come here for the food alone, but for the simple fact that we could get here without the need of cars or DL’s. Fast forward 10 years or so and they were one of the first area places to do whole wheat pies. My best friend and I would eat one about once a week, great crispy crust that can hold up to any topping though we usually opted for garlic and shroom. Fast forward another 15 plus years and it“s present day. A need for a few quick slices and all these memories rush back. I see a shroom and a sausage slice that seem to look ok, was really hoping to see the wheater though. Vincent rushed the reheating so I asked for it to be returned to the oven. A few minutes later he brought it to my table. Consistency had always been an issue here, and comparing both slices it may still be. The sausage had a thinner crust that barely held up to lifting, but the meat was pretty good. The shroom was the better of the 2, thicker crust and better cheese to sauce ratio. The crust here is pretty good, a typical pizza style but is cooked just right, the sauce is ok, not my favorite. The recollections were nice, and it is somewhat soothing to think that this fixture from my misspent youth was still thriving. One of these days I’ll order a wheater to go or maybe a steak sandwich, but until then will go elsewhere for a slice or two.

Yum! True Philly cheese steaks — sub roll is crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. Pizza and other standards looked good. Tables available and Sunday football! So glad we stopped!

Went in hungry as hell, came out very satisfied. Looking at the menu, it looks like there aren’t a lot of choices. On top of that, when I asked what Sicilian pizza was, I was answered a bit sarcastically. But, the workers quickly turned that around with their willingness to help explain what certain things where. My boyfriend had a cheese steak, I gave it 5 stars because it was perfectly cooked, delicious and not too salty. I had a slice of Sicilian pizza, which was filling and crispy! Then for dessert we had two fluffy bits of goodness(zepploes) that where topped off with powdered sugar. Afterwards we spoke to the guys up front and they told us they can make anything that wasn’t on the menu and if they had the ingredients. I loved that they where willing to stray away from the norm and overall friendly. Definitely going back whenever we are craving feel good food!

The calzones are pretty tasty and very large. A small one could probably feed two people. One person on our party had a sandwich and it was good too. The people were friendly and the team goes out of the way to help out.

This place is now over rated… I have been coming here for years… but every year it is less and less… they raise the prices too much… the pizza is not that great… the steak sandwiches USED to be very good… not so much anymore…(too much grissle).and for the guy that works the counter on saturday nights… here is a tip. if someone orders a cheese steak hoagie and you ask them if they want hot peppers… you don’t cook the peppers in the steak… fried peppers and onions is BELL peppers not banana hot peppers… thats just total overkill and all you will taste is hot banana pepper juice… they go on raw… here is 1 more tip… stop putting the ends of tomatoes on peoples sandwiches… your charging over $ 7 for a sandwich people do not want your scraps… but i wont be back simply because of that …

Went back to Vincent’s and this time tried their whole wheat crust pizza — incredibly delicious and more filling(but not in a heavy way) than the regular crust. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to Gino’s in Philly, I’ve been to Pat’s in Philly… if you get a chance to go to Vincent’s, this very small place, in Hamilton NJ don’t miss the Cheese steak! You’ll never think of Gino’s or Pat’s again. I’ve not tried the pizza, some like it some don’t but I’ve not met a single person who actually had the cheese steak and didn’t think it was great! I’ve not seen«attitude» in the staff, quite the contrary, they always seemed pleasant to me. I visit Hamilton for a couple of weeks once or twice a year and on every visit we make our way to Vincent’s at least 4 times.

Hadn’t been inside Vincent’s Pizza for a couple of decades. Like what they did with the place. New windows, furniture, open kitchen, and cathedral ceiling for the religious crowd. My double slice lunch was ordered«well done,» to be sure the reheat job was adequate. I wanted the cheese to bubble again before it was served. When it arrived, it was almost ablaze. I had to wait a couple of minutes before I dare put slice to mouth. When I did, the weight of the cheese was too much for the crust, and the point immediately folded under. At that point I went for a plastic fork and knife to assist me because it was still too hot to allow the melty cheese to touch the skin. The taste was fairly good with mildly salty cheese complimenting the slightly sweet tomato sauce. I realize this was a pizza; not a tomato pie, but the cheese seemed out of proportion to the sauce and made the slices difficult to manage, and somewhat off in flavors. Beyond that, there seemed to be an inordinate amount of oil on the slices. I allowed it to run off and pool on the paper plate. When I was done and ready to throw away the paper trash, I found a puddle of oil under the plate where it has soaked through. That’s a Meh violation. Vincent’s has its admirers. Several of the guys stopping in knew the Major Domo/Chef well, and he sat with some of them to chat about the world. Still, this was not close to my favorite pies in the area, and it will likely be another decade before I return.

I love this place! Been going here for years, before they redid it. Looks very nice now. Food is great. I love their pizza. Not too heavy or doughy. Good sauce to cheese ratio which I like. Their cheese steaks are amazing. I always get a cheese steak hoagie(no onions). Staff is awesome. Prices are low for good food. No complaints.

So… of course the gal from Phoenix is gonna be impressed, any Trenton pizza will seem like manna from heaven compared to what they have out there. That said, Vincent’s is pretty OK, but there’s a lot better pizza to be had in our town. Don’t be afraid to eat here, it’s good food and they’re nice people, you won’t be sorry; but anything above 3 stars is misleading IMO.

Every time I visit NJ my stomach does a happy dance; because Vincent’s Pizza is always on the MUSTDO list. I have been addicted to Vincent’s Pizza since 2002, but its definitely the Chicken Cheese Steaks that have my heart. Vincent’s Pizza has been in Hamilton, NJ for 30 years. They serve their Chicken Cheese Steak on a a 12″ roll for 5.75 or 18″ roll for 9.50.(yes those are 2012 prices!) and their chicken is seasoned to perfection! The chicken is thinly sliced and seasoned while cooking, which is what makes their Chicken Cheese Steak the best I’ve ever eaten, its never dry or overcooked either. The lettuce is always crisp and fresh too. I usually have the Hoagie style with provolone cheese, hold the olive oil & vinegar(I detest soggy bread!) with mushroom, and sometimes sauteed onions. They place their cheese on the bread before loading on the chicken and this is definitely the best way to serve it up! Their rolls are always fresh-even when we arrived at 9:40pm the bread was soft and delicious. This spot is a pizza place(slice 1.80), but I have only had a few slices. The slices are served up nice and thin, with delicious cheese; however my only wish is that they would sauté the mushrooms instead of using can mushrooms. I’ve also tried the mushroom pizza roll(2.25) which was almost like a mini Stromboli, served with the sauce on the side; and it is always fresh and tasty. Their tomato sauce is delicious too. I highly recommend Vincent’s Pizza for Chicken Cheese Steaks, as they have never let me down; in the last 10 years-even when i’m on the west coast-i crave them! I compare all Chicken Cheese Steaks to Vincent’s Pizza-and have never tasted another that comes close to their perfection. I recently had a Chicken Cheese Steak at Tony Luke’s in Sicklerville, NJ and it was a hot mess, their Chicken Cheese Steaks don’t even stand a chance in a taste test against Vincent’s Pizza’s Chicken Cheese Steak. Not one restaurant in the area can compare either. So next time your in Hamilton, NJ stop into Vincents Pizza and be delighted. Vincent’s Pizza has been completely redecorated and redesigned so they are roomier and prettier for your dining in pleasure, plus they also offer free Wi-Fi. Check out their menu online here:
