Payload has gotten quite expensive. This used to be the place to go for cheap and cute shoes. The name Payless is false advertising. You used to be able to get out of there with two pairs of shoes for about $ 30 and now you’re lucky if you get out for under $ 60. Their Brash scents smell really good though.

My daughter goes H.A.M. in this place!!! my only problem is the size selection… I need for them to stock up in the size 13 for women… then they would get ALL my money!!!

I had the most wonderful experience at this store!!! (on 2 different occasions too!!!) First time, I was in a huge hurry and all 3 of my girls broke their flip flops, I had to run in and get 3 pairs of shoes quickly, Erika, measured and helped me, I was out in 15 min!!! With 3 little girls, that is incredible!!! The following week, I received a text for a discount and I called, Erika answered the phone, I asked if I could receive the discount on the already purchased shoes (wasn’t over a week yet) she was so polite and happy on the phone, she said certainly, come on in. She was @ the counter when I walked in and did the transaction in a second!!! In this time and age to receive such customer service is rare. Payless should thank their lucky stars to have such a wonderful employee!!!

After I had my Dorthy costume I needed so dam red shoes to complete the outfit and I didnt’ have time to drive to Del Amo to find something pretty and most likely expensive so I opted to go the cheap/​fast route. Well that failed. Actually they had some red shoes but dam they were expensive for payless! $ 26 for flats, are you kidding me? Psh, I’ll go to Kmart or Target instead.
After looking around the place-​which is kinda small/​with a small selection/​i found some ballet shoes! Why didn’t they have ballet slippers back when I needed them for cheap during high school when I opted for ballet rather than P.E.?! Anyway they carry a variety of colors and sizes for those taking ballet classes. Smart move Payless. I might have to go back and get me a pair/​enroll in a ballet class.
