Sonic Drive-In

The person at the drive thru window is the dumbest person in existence. I ordered a cheese burger and asked for bacon and was asked «you want the bacon on the burger?» Then, when paying, I asked for ketchup and was given mustard. I told the girl at the window and she said «isnt that the same thing?»
The fries are never super hot.

My first time here. My two kids loved it, but I thought it was really underwhelming. If you’re going for fast food, the burger is as good as you’ll get at a McDonald’s or Wendy’s. I would pass on the shakes. The ice cream was not good. You be better served by driving up the road to hit a Dairy Queen.

Probably going to have a heart attack after my meal but I got boneless buffalo Wings in an Asian sauce with fries and a strawberry slush with jolly rancher. Favorite slush! And also tried an Oreo chocolate shake with no whip. Both drinks were great. Boneless buffalo wings were the bomb and much better than expected.

I have nothing against your actors in your commercial ads but if you would consider de– nerding your ads maybe more people would go there, I feel you saying only nerds eat there. And I know that I used to eat there quite often before I saw these ads

This Sonic is creating a ton of really angry drivers. First of all, I’ve been sitting here for over 30 minutes. I’m in the middle of moving so I figured Sonic would be the place to go, quick, I can eat in my car instead of a place with no furniture or surrounded by boxes and clutter. Wrong.
I ordered something reealllly simple. Grilled medium #9 with tots and diet green tea. The girl asked me a couple times about the tea.
Waiting 20 min, the food comes out. It’s 90 degrees outside mind you. I’ve been getting a real work out lugging all my boxes. There are over 10 cars in the lot and there is 1 girl on roller blades. I do not think that this is ethical and has to be an HR violation. She repeats my order and hands it to me. She said it right, but it is wrrronnng.
There are fries instead of tots. And my diet green tea is so so sweet and brownish. I’m thinking they gave me the sweet tea instead, not even the sweet green.
I push the button. I say my order is wrong. They say they will bring it out.
As I wait and wait, I hear the guy to my right say that his order is wrong too. The plain hamburger that he ordered 3 times and then once again correcting them was wrong. Somehow he was able to get his refund and burger and has already left. He was mad.
The guy to my left has already beeped at a waitress asking her what was up and has been doing a lot of hand waving and gesturing.
I press the button after 10 more min. I say I don’t want to wait anymore, please just refund me the combo price and I’ll pay for the sandwich.
I have been waiting 10 min. since then! It has now been over 40 min. The guy to the left of me has just backed out.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
People leave here and get right back on 17. If you want food, go somewhere else, here at Sonic, all you’ll get is road rage to go.
Now 50 min. Do I just leave? I feel like I’m here on principal now.
I hate them.

Chicken Asiano Sandwhich was awful… One of the worst checker sandwiches I ever had, was pressed flavorless chicken patty and who knows what else. hardly any fries with our orders. Shakes very good but just too sweet for me. I wouldn’t go back for food. Only a different type shake or a cherry lemonade as people rave about.

So much for my first time at a sonic… Never again!!! I felt like I was being punked. they messed up my order not once but three times.

Basic and simple, food a-​la-​americana. Love Sonic for the nice and pleasant feel of when times were much better. Great burgers at great prices. Make sure you order your combo with tator tots. Also the quarter pounder «cheeseburger is a must for the most demanding palette. Place your order and watch a sonic employee roll out in skates to deliver your order curbside.

There is nothing better than a cherry limeade. there just isn’t! I even love the little circle ice cubes.
What I don’t love is going through a drive thru after spending $ 20 on food to go home and realize they never gave you the chicken fingers for your combo meal. Ugh that really sucked because we didn’t want to drive all the way back to sonic not to mention all I ordered was that combo meal (I was left with a soda and fries) so I called the store and explained what happened to the manager who apologized for the mishap. He asked me if I wanted to come back and grab the chicken fingers but I explained to him we had already arrived home and he gave me the option of sending me a coupon in the mail for a free combo meal or to come back. I decided to have them send me the coupon.
Lets see if they actually send me that coupon or if they made off with my chicken fingers.

I get emails for discounted food/​drink specials all the time for sonic! Today August 31^st is the last day for ½ price Milk Shakes. I ordered 2 large shakes, price was 10.87. When I drove up to pay I asked about the ½ price offer. I was told it was done today. I said it is still August 31^st! I was asked if she should go get her manager! I was so frustrated I drove away. My family/​friends/​students/​neighbors will never order from sonic again!

My favorite place to hang out with the family, usually on a Thursday night. Service is fast and the food is delicious.

Great for the drinks. ESPECIALLY the slushies not so much for the food. Get the cream slush. Half slushie half ice cream. Too good

So it’s been a few YEARS of driving past this location that I finally caved for a snack and came into the teeny tiniest sonic ever to be created and squeezed my micro car into a stall. For those that didn’t know, this location had a kitchen fire, a rather severe one I may add and spent a long time being rebuilt. I figured, okay with all of that time it being closed they had to hire an entirely new staff and maybe it got better. Boy was I wrong…
The ordering process was harder than ever, everything had to be repeated 4 or 5 times. Once we ordered and it was repeated back to us we were informed that no soda or carbonated drinks were available because the «machine broke» we could order water, slushies or shakes but no cokes, limeaids, Etc…
Okay I’m now going in my head «par for the course» what else can go wrong. When the server came over, she brought the wrong order. Yeah par for the course. The moral of this story folks, Avoid this location like the plague, absolutely nothing has changed since it’s reopening.
How does someone on Unilocal give ZERO stars?

Service was slow. 7:13am placed order pulled off without food at 7:20 and was late for work. Only 1 car in front of me in the Drive-​thru.
I’ve visited this place a few times & was equally dissatisfied with the service. I must say I won’t be visiting this location for their duration. Thumbs down and 0 stars.

I like the commercials…
Not being a fast food foodie I decided to have a Sonic experience. For the longest time every time you passed this place the line was holding up traffic… must be sumpthin.
Very strange experience… somebody skates up to your car, you order they skate away then come back (skating of course) with your food. To watch that was worth the price of the burger alone.
The burger… I didn’t like the texture of the burger not to mention it didn’t taste good. I threw it out… the fries were fast food fries nothing special just like you get any where.
Hot Dog… baloney…that’s what it tasted like again not very good.
So to sum up my Sonic review let me say…
I like the commercials.

It’s sonic. It’s clean, there are plenty of parking places, there are 4 tables available if you don’t want to eat in the car, they have a drive thru.
Road trips and sonic happy hour are a match made in heaven.

I went through the drive thru instead of doing car service. Though, the concept is adorable. We were just craving some junk food.
I had the regular cheeseburger with some onion rings. We then sat in the car service and ate (since it was pretty late at night and not a lot of people).
First off, no napkins. Also, no ketchup or any condiments.
The onion rings were really meh. They were dry and hard. It just tasted like rock hard breading.
The cheeseburger was decent. I’d put it a little above Burger King but that’s about it. Half way through however, I was already full so that is one positive. (Either it’s that filling or I’m finally not as big of an eater as I used to be.)
The meal is about $ 7.50 and I kept thinking, «I’d rather pay more for better.» Also, I wasn’t feeling great at 10 pm eating a greasy burger. My lips were still wet from the grease as we drove home.
I doubt I will be yearning to go back anytime soon. As they say, I’m too old for this —.

½ price milkshakes after 8pm during the summer. They stay open pretty late here too. Need I say more?
This is a drive thru establishment with a parking lot where you can order from your car. Service is slow at times, but the milkshakes are good and there are alot of flavors to choose from.
Sonic frequently runs different kinds of specials for their food. So sometimes you can get food here über cheap. For example, today — July 23^rd, you can get an all american dog or a chili cheese dog for $ 1.

Ahhh fast food hamburgers… Everyone has eaten them at one time or another in their life; It’s a category in its own.
I had never been to a Sonic prior to six months ago. I had however heard a lot of positive things about them from various people over the years, I just never got around to it.
Now that I actually have had a chance to gorge on a burger and fries at this location I am no longer a Sonic virgin. The burger and fries were just… good. As far as junk food goes, I would rate it quality wise on par with Wendy’s, but better than Burger King or McDonald’s. The drive-​through area/​eat in your car theme was retro and cool but does not add any true value to the experience.
That being said, if I had a fast food craving I could not imagine myself driving past a perfectly good Wendy’s to make a trip to eat at Sonic. It is just not that different from most other fast food options. ²⁄₅.

Food’s good, but the service is awful. We had 2 meal orders and a bunch of little sandwiches on the side. They forgot one of the two meal sandwiches, got all the small sandwiches right. That’s a little backwards… how do you miss ONE of TWO bigger sandwiches, identical sandwiches by the way… TERRIBLE. But then again, I guess they are in the fast food industry, working the drive thru window because they cant count past ONE.
OH and they wouldnt let us split up the bill with half cash, half card… cant count past one…
