Mujadarra — Spiced yellow rice, green lentils, fried onions and zaatar; and

Taiim Falafel Shack’s other specialty is providing its customers with an authentic Middle Eastern «Shack» experience. (e.g. interaction with the (open) kitchen staff and fellow customers, football (a.k.a. soccer) on the tv, etc…)

If you can’t make it to the Shack, you can purchase our various hummus flavors at the following Farmers Markets — Nyack, Chappaqua, Bronxville, Hastings and Ramsey (NJ).

We also specialize in catering parties and special events.

History

Established in 2010.

Having moved to Hastings from Cobble Hill (Brooklyn), an Israeli-born suburbanite wanted to provide healthy, fresh and authentic Middle Eastern fare in an urban-like setting and atmosphere. What’s better than eating falafel, hummus, shawarma and other Middle Eastern food, while sitting in an open kitchen «shack» and watching football (i.e. soccer) on the t.v. and/or listening to the kitchen staff yelling out orders.

Authentic and delicious Middle Eastern fare in an irreverent/Israeli-like atmosphere.

Oh, and we welcome kids, as well.
