Note to self… whenever you visit a take away/​restaurant for the first time always keep the receipt. I walked into the Lucky’s shortly after the Patriots game on Sunday afternoon hoping to get a great Roast Beef sandwich. Not the case. Thats the negative but let me give some positives.
The ladies running the front registers and doing final prep for takeaway were charming and very good conversationalist. Kudos to them! However when I got home and took a bite of the Roast Beef it was cold and flavorless. The roast beef looked like it had been through a meat grinder.
Totally unenjoyable! I did get some good fries with the order but I should be talking about the the roast beef sandwich and not the fries.
I’ll give Lucky’s one more shot but it won’t be for the Jumbo roast beef sandwich… too bad.

Luck’s is just alright. Decent subs. The cheesy garlic sticks were just ok. And I wish I could say that the cinnamon sticks were outta this world, but they were just the saddest, most pathetic excuse for a dessert possible; that went straight into the trash after one very regrettable bite. I was hoping for something warm, buttery, and cinnamon sugary to ail my sweet tooth. But no, I got cold, stale, baked pizza dough with nothing — NOTHING — but sprinkled cinnamon. Not even a little sugar. Yikes! Save your money and skip dessert, friends. Lesson learned.

I came in here about a month or so ago with my dad because he enjoys coming in here on his lunch break. I’m not really a fan of these types of places that are exactly the same as the other place around Haverhill. So to be safe I ordered chicken fingers and fries, a brownie and my dad ordered a steak and cheese. The steak was very bland, no seasoning at all added to the steak. I tried to not set myself up for disappointment, so I went with chicken fingers and fries. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up frozen chicken fingers, but boy was I wrong. I work in the industry so I know what went wrong. They thawed the frozen chicken fingers and then went into the fryer, thus causing them to be soggy when they are done cooking. The only thing reason that this review is a two star instead of the one I originally put, is because of the brownie. It was amazing.

Walked into luckys tonight asked for a seafood salad sub… Easy right? Wrong girl behind counter gives me an attitude and says we don’t have it no more… nobody eats that stuff. (I do). Keep in mind they still have it on there menus. This is the best part ready … So I say I’ll get a roast beef sandwich 3 way, the girl behind counter looks at me and says we don’t have any roast beef right now, are you kidding me its in your name. Anyways Giovannis made my seafood sandwich and roast beef aswell. What a joke!!!

Overpriced and have picked up orders with food missing and had to go back twice. They offered to deliver it but would be well over a half hour wait. However, their roastbeef subs are delicious and their ½ priced Pasta deals are great for a cheap family meal.

My sister ordered lunch for us and my daughter. We called back to add on three drinks. The delivery person arrived with just drinks. Said our food was on its way. An hour later, my sister called and asked where the food was. They said «on its way». They the. Called right back and said they lost the order. (What???). They then said they found the order but it wasn’t what we asked for and insisted my sister asked for a beef taco bowl when she really wanted chicken. They then CALLED BACK to say that she was lying and never asked for chicken. 20 minutes later they showed up with just a taco bowl and none of the other food she ordered. When she called to get a refund for everything the person said they didn’t know how to do refunds and she would have to call back tomorrow! Needless to say, I will never even attempt Trying them again.

Unilocal still sucks! Unilocal sucks won’t publish negative review! Unilocal doesn’t seem to recommend this review probably because it was negative. Well I will try again. Thanks Unilocal,not! When they first opened they had much better service and the food was much better. Now the service is horrendous waiting ten minutes to place an order while a lot of the employees are shooting the breeze. I finally walked out and no one acknowledge I was even there. The food quality has got much worse with steaks tips that are mostly grizzle, salads are almost all lettuce, and the pizza is disgustingly greasy and flavorless. Don’t bother to try anytime soon, and I certainly won’t be back.

The pizza from this restaurant is very edible. unfortunately the wraps, sandwiches, and salads leave a lot to be desired. The roast beef was overcooked and it tasted like two McDonalds patties smashed together with a generic sauce. The wraps included cheese that must have sat at room temperature for far too long and the salad included pieces of vegetables that are not meant to be served (i.e roots). The pizza alone gave it two stars instead of one (because there is not an option for none)

A great new place for pizza in Haverhill. I have ordered from there 3 or 4 times and have not been disappointed. There are plenty of mediocre pizza places in the area, but this one seems to be doing it right. I do wish they had a little more variety though. They have similar offerings as every other place in the area but better quality for sure.

This place has hands down the best pizza in Haverhill. Get the favorite pizza the sauce is just amazing. I am sick at home so I got delivery which I never do and it literally came in 15 minutes. The sides are really good too. I’m definitely gonna be coming here more often. Not to mention the Monday special. Great prices, great food, great service.

I’m actually kind of surprised by the terrible reviews on here. I had a pretty good experience here. The staff was nice– We went in. Mr. H ordered a large roast beef on an onion roll with BBQ sauce. I got a grilled veggie wrap. His was awesome! Mine was good too, but very greasy/​watery (like dripping out of the sandwich) and it sogged the bread so bad I had to just eat the filling (which was a bummer). It tasted really good though. I would order from here again, maybe not go out of my way to go here. If I come here I am definitely ordering the roast beef! I can’t decide between a 3 or 4 star review, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and round up to a 4 this time, partially because I’m not sure they deserve a ton of terrible reviews like the ones here. Room for improvement here, but still a delicious meal.

We tried Lucky’s tonight, so glad we did! Really nice building, very clean, friendly staff. Pizza was awesome, sauce not to sweet, not too tangy. The cheese was well done, perfectly cooked. We order pizza every Friday night, best pizza in Haverhill!
