Fantastic experience & so happy to find such professional, passionate groomers! Danielle (owner) and her staff are so friendly & you can tell they love what they do! Everything is bright & very clean. My dog has never looked better & we will be back! Thank you!

Now that this has been taken over by new owners, it is even more wonderful! Christian does the most beautiful grooming. I have been taking my cockapoo here for years and he looks beautiful every time I pick him up. The dogs do not sit in kennels while they wait. My dog had been lost for six days at Wissahickon Creek and when we found him I called immediately on a Sunday. Danielle called me back that day because she knew he had been missing and how frantic I was. She told me to bring him in first thing the next morning so they could take care of him. He was very frightened and shaking but they were so good to him!!! They found 12 ticks and spent a long time cleaning him up. THEY DIDN’T EVEN CHARGE ME AND SAID IT WAS ON THE HOUSE because of what we had been through!!!
Don’t go to the fancy Main Line places– make sure to go to Calling All Paws!!! These are real dog people!

I’ve been going here for several years. Never had any real problems that would affect this review.
My cat was given a «lion cut» when I specifically asked not for that to be done. He looked foolish but I didn’t really care. Anyone can make a mistake. But every time I’ve gone since they ask «you want the lion cut, right?» I always respond «no, I’m not sure why you have that on the card it was done by mistake once»
The procedure to get a cut done is to call, leave a message, receive a message then call and leave another message to confirm. That is very inconvenient but I understand they are busy (for some reason Bunny who was their receptionist and wonderful is gone).
The reason I am writing this review is because of my most recent experience.
I called a few weeks ago to set up an appointment. Asked for soonest available and asked if I could make an appointment for another animal. Unfortunately the next week as already booked so the message said they would put my cat down for the next week. That was unfortunate for me but again I understood the procedure and their busy-​ness.
I called to confirm and again asked for an appointment for my other cat. Received a message saying today at 10 would be fine. Again no response to other cat (not a huge deal).
I arrived today to drop off my cat. And the owner looks at me and my cat who she has seen dozens of times over the past 4 or 5 years. And says «who is this?» It’s a bit upsetting that a repeat customer is not remembered. Especially for something so personal. This isn’t walmart or Home Depot. I work in a retail sector that is personal and I make it a point to know the person I’m dealing with. It makes people feel comfortable.
Anyway, Sharon looks at the clock and says «he was supposed to be in at seven» I have 4 different phone calls confirming the 10 o clock, because it was such an odd time as I usually do come in at 7.
Regardless of who made the mistake, after I answered I think you said 10, there was silence followed by a «No!» She didn’t even look at me to speak. I stood there for another minute assuming she would try to reschedule or work something out. Nothing. I got no response or anything whatsoever. I turned to leave and my 4 year old daughter is upset wondering what is happening. I said“we’re leaving I’m not sure what’s going on here”. Again there was no effort on Sharon’s part to do anything in the least.
I certainly will never go there again it was quite insulting.
This definitely echoes the «bi-​polar» comments. I have had great experiences with them. They do a good job but sometimes she is just plain rude for no reason at all.
Also, there does seem to be quite a turnover in employees there. Many different faces. This hasn’t bothered me but for someone with a dog who is a very close companion it may be.

I wish I could give a better review, but apparently Calling All Paws doesn’t need my business. I called during business hours and got their voicemail. I left a detailed message asking for a return call for more information and to schedule my pet, but they never got back to me. Several days later I filled out the information request on the website and they again never responded. This doesn’t seem like the best way to drive in new business.

Our pup smelled good as new after her appointment here and the staff oohed and aahed about what a cutie she is (we always want to know that our pets are treated well by the groomer… spoiled even). But, our groomer failed to follow instructions. I said whatever you do, don ‘t cut the ears. Just wash and blow dry. She took the scissors to them and now it’ll take a long time for them to grow out. She gets ***, the rest of the business ****

The owner has either an anger management problem or is bi-​polar. After a few years of going here and being very happy with the grooming my dogs were given, the owner became mean toward my dogs. She yelled at one for going to the bathroom on her floor (mine could not have been the first!) and she yelled at me for coming in less than 5 minutes late for an appointment. She later was heard muttering to get my dogs out of there! My dogs are not loud and do not bark much so I have no idea what was upsetting her. And besides, she should be able to cope with dogs behaviors given her choice of work.
They do give nice haircuts but I would NEVER trust this woman with any pet of mine again. I’ve moved to a groomer in Ardmore and am thrilled with them.

I have been bringing my mixed breed Eddie here for 3+ years. We have never had a bad experience. Eddie is a rescue dog, so we don’t really know what his previous life was like, and he can be high strung at times. The staff handles Eddie perfectly! He always looks great, and they are happy to cut him different ways and lengths depending on my request. They can be very busy, so I make sure to schedule my next appointment when I pick him up.

I’ve been taking my Maltese to Calling All Paws for over three years and have never had a bad experience. The folks that work there are extemely friendly albiet usually very busy grooming dogs as you walk in. My little guy always comes home looking and feeling great. No traumitized doggy here. Their prices seem in line and competitive. I have on ocassion tried other local groomers but I always come back to CAP! I will say that it can be tough to get an appointment quickly with these guys. That suggests to me that they are busy with repeat customers. Usually I leave a message reguesting an appointment and they follow up by the next day with an appointment time a week out. I think they are very competent and would highly recommend these groomers for your furry best friends!

this is the worst groomer EVER — do not go here they discriminate against certain types of breeds!

I’ve been taking my Wheaten Terrier here for about a year and have been very happy! The owner has two of her own — mine always looks great after a grooming here.
There never seem to be too many dogs there at one time — they do a good job of scheduling and keeping to it. The dogs are not caged while there; they can be social when they’re not on the table. I like that. Have to agree with Steven, my dog never seems stressed when she comes home.
Overall I recommend these groomers highly!

Our two Miniature Schnauzers visited yesterday. For me there are two characteristics that are critical in a good groomer. Both are equally important.
Of course one is that the cut should be great. These folks achieve that time after time.
Next is the stress (or lack of it) that my dogs experience. When I pick them up from Calling All Paws they just don’t seem stressed out. If you are a dog lover you know how important this is.
In addition to these most important points these folks are timely and friendly with us humans. This is an excellent place to bring your canine companion!

First off, this place is a very uncomfortable place to do business. It is very loud and stressful for both me and my dog. I understand that this place takes care of dogs and that dogs do bark. However, it isn’t the dogs of the clients that make so much noise. There are a couple of dogs that belong to the owner and employees and they are not business appropriate dogs. They are very territorial. Another reason that it is loud is the one lady that works there has to be the loudest talker I have ever met in my life. I really wanted to shove a sock in her mouth.
Secondly, they only know one cut. Every dog that I saw there had the same cut. We asked to have our dog cut like Toto from the Wizard of Oz, and yes, she is the same breed, a Carin Terrier, so it is not a bizarre request. Well, they screwed that up, no skirt and no lion head.
We also asked them to express her glands, we don’t think they did it, even though they charged us. When we got the dog home she continued to drag her bottom on the ground.
Finally, when I picked the dog up, they just passed the dog over the counter, probably because their large, territorial dogs that stay behind the counter would have eaten my little girl. C’mon, really? I gave the dog to you on a leash you should return it to me on a leash. And to ask me to pay in full for a job you didn’t do properly. Shame on Calling All Paws.
All in all the chaos of this place was too much. I will never return again and I hope that this review will deter you from going there.
